This store also offers hunting supplies, plumbing and construction supplies, electrical supplies and a good paint selection. My favorite is the selection of cookware - cast iron pots.

The Castor walmart has always been there for me when I’m in need of supplies and it has Walmart prices. It reminds me of a classic general store of the past when you only had one choice to go.I will be there in the morning Christmas shopping.

Good selection, overpriced groceries due to convenience factor/supply and demand.One bag dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets: $31 and some change. One single-serve pack of m&m's: $2.50. Jar of Tostitos salsa: $6. Ground chuck: $7/lb. Flank steak: $10.99/lb. Homegrown tomatoes: $2.79/lb. Chicken gizzard was only $2/pint if you're into that. French fries: $7/small bag (maybe 2lb bag). Some items look like they were bought at Walmart and brought here and resold for higher price. Customer service was super fast and very friendly. Family Dollar 50 feet away had more reasonable prices but this store is good if you can't find what you need anywhere else. They have Deli meat and ham and bacon and sausage, just be prepared to pay a little more than usual.

I needed a replacement deck belt for my lawn mower around 7 in the morning. Called, told them what I needed, they had what I needed waiting on me when I arrived, and even investigated a little, realized I was confused about my issue. They got me all set before leaving. Grateful that they take the time with their customers to ensure that it's not about making a sale, but they get you what you need.

Very very nice people! They let me bring my fur baby in store when I ask if they had a bathroom. Maxx even let the lady rub him. Will be shopping there again. Had everything we needed & very helpful!

Well, it's a store that sells things for all sorts of financial and business reasons. The owner is cool and if they need your services, they will actually pay you! They also have the cutest little jugs of buttermilk right above the 2%.

I moved here 6months ago from Texas,not knowing anyone...the people at The General Store are the most friendly,helpful bunch here! I love shopping here,and if you can't reach something,someone is right there to climb up an get it for ya!

Great local hardware and grocery store. When it comes to hardware this place has it. This store has saved me many miles over the years. If you're a homeowner or have a farm or anything like that, this place is a life saver. And the people who work there are all very friendly too.

Great prices on just about everything. You know it a good place to shop if it is hard to find help cause of how busy it is. I like to try and find what I need here before I go to the big stores in the city.
