I stayed in room 108 for two weeks and it was newly updated with hardwood floors and new furniture. Very clean and guest services were excellent. They didn’t bother you by knocking on your door everyday and the towel exchange was painless. It is a very limited motel with no pool nor breakfast but it is walking distance to a very nice restaurant where you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is room for truck parking and they do accept long term stays and short term as well. This is a no frills motel so don’t compare it to a Hilton or Marriott, but it is clean and accommodating. I felt safe while my husband was working. I’d stay here again if my husband had to work in the area again.Rooms: Spacious and the room I stayed in was newly remodeledSafety: Safety lighting installed and was automatically turned on/off when you exited the room at night.Walkability: USA truck stop, American style cafe and a bar.Food & drinks: There is no breakfast but a nearby cafe that is excellent

The rooms were filthy!! Pile of trash on bathroom, long black hair on refrigerator and microwave...disgusting!! No phone to Ll the front desk. The worst part, my husband was at work and a strange man opened my door WITHOUT knocking and started to come in,mond you I was still in bed, still in bed!!! 8 or 9 on the morning. I guess he had a master key! The pictures are lying! I've stayed in over 100 motels because of my husband's job this one by far was the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!

After many hours on the road driving from TX to NC we took an exit & saw this place.The desk clerk was very nice & accommodating as we asked to see a room 1st.The rooms are much nicer than most of the expensive hotels we had stopped & looked at. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker,Cold AC, comfortable beds- Can you say WOW!It made for a great nights stay & we would most definitely stay again!

This is a great hotel. Very clean. Kind cleaners.The only issue I might find is the microwave was very rusty and left rust in our food. Not good. Other then that, we were in a smoking room and it didn't smell bad. It was a great hotel. Very clean, no bedbugs, no bugs, no roaches, no mold. Very happy.My husband was talking with a cleaner gal outside when I came down with my therapy kitty. My youngest chose to throw gravel and dirt at my cat and I stupidly took him out of his crate to dump his crate out. He freaked out and sliced my hand pretty good. He got away and went under a car. I was able to get him. I got to say the cleaning lady was very kind and sweet even when I broke down and screamed at my youngest why'd you do that ' lol she was very kind and understanding.All in all, warm, water works, Fridge works, clean smelling bedding, great blanket, good hotel oh and quiet. Very quiet. I never heard anyone around. There was people having a great time. It was awesome.Would stay again.Rooms: The rooms were great. No smell. Clean. Nice roomsSafety: Felt completely safe.Food & drinks: Great little market across the street.Noteworthy details: Right off the highway. Great location. Clean. Tv worked great with our Google home. Just wish they had a better microwave.

I booked this hotel after reading a good google review about cleanliness, and I was so happy to find out the review was true. I think the motel is newly renovated, the room was very spacious like a master bedroom with nice modern furniture, sink was modern, new and clean and the carpet was newish and clean. It didn't look much from outside but inside was very good. After staying 2 nights in 2 different cities with disappointing rooms, I was very happy, it was beyond my expectations. I wish very well for the hotel owner and the staffs and I hope they maintain it, and in the future I am going to look for unknown motels with good review, not the chain motels/hotels.

Over all this place isnt bad at all, there were some stains on the sheets but other then that the rooms were clean and I didnt see any signs of bugs in the room at all. There are some things that are missing from most hotel rooms like a phone or an alarm clock, but they did have a tv and coffee pot that worked. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot so I dont have much to complain about the room. They have lots of parking and room for trailers and such. They do charge a pet fee but are pet friendly, but watch out they have a couple cats roaming around.Tldr: not perfect but a good option if you're passing through, has parking for trailers or hauls, and they are pet friendly

I stayed at this hotel in a road trip in June because of the good opinions....what a mistake!I don't know about other people's standards, but for us, this was the worst hotel we have been in a long time. The staff is nice but unresolutive, the room was stinking of tabaco but they didn't changed us to another room (because it was a "non smoking room") but sprayed air freshener which didn't help. The room was dirty an old in general but the worst part was that the sheets were not even changed from the previous guests (or somebody slept there afterwards). There were stains everywere, cigarette burns and rips on the sheets and sofa, human hairs..... The couch and towels were also covered in stains and there was toothpaste on the tap from previous guests. We stayed because we didn't have many other options since there is not much around, but never again. It was also expensive for what it offers: $87 with no breakfast. The sheet was clean but there was a blood stain on it. I don't believe that the comforter had been freshly washed because nothing in the Room smelled fresh. I did have a good night's sleep after I killed the bug and the bed was very comfortable!Disliked · I cannot believe that the excellent reviews on here are genuine. I hate to be so critical but there is just nothing much to be happy about. These folks are obviously trying to improve the place but it is very lacking in normal amenities with a Room at this cost. The indoor outdoor carpet is pitifully worn and very stained. I woke up with a big bug burrowing in my hair. The toilet ran off and on all night, all around the baseboards in the bathroom was filthy, and the steps and sidewalks are grimey. Only 1/2 roll of toilet paper was provided, and the kleenex compartment was empty. If I had gone and looked at the Room before paying I would never have stayed here. Although I think at that point I was bound by policy to have to pay for the Room, regardless.

Ok, I wasn't sure how this little place was going to pan out. But I was pleasantly surprised. It's a little outdated yes but the beds are so comfortable, the shower water pressure is incredible, and there's parking for trucks with trailers. It was nice and clean and you could tell they put thought into what their customers would need in the room.

Decent room. Could use a little work in the bathroom as door didn't shut very well and the way things were constructed in the bathroom along with removable shower wand was kind of jimmy-rigged together. Staff was very friendly though and room was at a very reasonable rate. I've stayed in places more expensive than this that I'm pretty sure were former meth labs, so this wasn't really that bad at all. It also felt very safe there.

It was quiet, the room was big, and it was right next to truck stop that sells everything but I was just uncomfortable very very very dim window didn't have enough blackout curtain do me mader feel like I was being watched and towels were dirtySafety: I didn't feel safe at all lock on door was broken a d the curtains weren't dark enough and was long enough and the middle wouldn't close all the way truck stop close so alots of weirdos around!! I expected a clean, no-frills hotels for an overnight stop on a road trip. I wasn't surprised that it was dated and dark, but it was not in good condition either. I don't know how it got so many good reviews, and I was misled by the rating. These were some of the problems:1. Old TV with no remote. Replacement from office didn't work.2. Fluorescent light over sink went out in the morning. Had to blowdryhair and do makeup in the dark. Partially worked the night before.3. Soap scum ring around bathtub.4. Touch-controlled lamp flickered on and off during the night. (Weweren't touching it.)5. Room was no-smoking (as requested) but still had a faint smell ofcigarettes.During checkout, we were told we should have called the desk. Really? Get out of bed, dress, and go down at 2 AM? Have someone who is obviously not taking care of maintenance during the day come at night? We didn't ask for compensation, and nothing was offered.The room was big, and pillows and mattress were OK. I wouldn't stay again or recommend unless budget is a major concern. With a bit of updating and care, this could be a quaint and affordable stopover.

So cozy. Beautiful remodel. Two 👍 up to the interior decorator. Love the actual lock and key. No hassle checking in or out. Best eating and entertainment in Calhoun right next door. Very affordable. Good water pressure. Nice new mattresses and REAL furniture, not the typical hotel mainstream cheap furniture. Thanks for a good nights sleep y’all.

Motel 103 has to be the best around. With a pet friendly atmosphere, its hard to tell because the rooms are so clean. The beds are comfortable and the price is unbeatable. I've stayed there many times and the staff is awesome too. So stop by USA Travel off I-20 and get some wine, then go dining and karaoke. After you get tired, just across the street is Motel 103.

Stayed there 6 months ago after it was remodeled. Was good for the price. It is going downhill since then. Stayed in same room again. A side chair, small end table and the suitcase stand are now MIA.It's still clean, inexpensive, and ok in a pinch.The room now smells like smoke. Questionable people look to be long term residents.Mgmt has not been working on doing any other remodeling work since we were there last.Will not stay again.Much nicer places available a few miles west.

Awesome motel. Very clean, newly renovated. General manager was very personable and went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. Beds were super cozy, Carpet was soft, room didn’t smell musty, showers were hot and strong water pressure. Highly recommend staying here

This Motel was perfect. It was very basic but extremely clean. Had a refrigerator & microwave. The towels were amazing quality (thick and fluffy) and the shower water presser was awesome. Cons: motel was kind of hard to find. I definitely recommend.

There are NO frills, it is not a new building, BUT it is clean!!! Their main customers are truckers and work crews passing through, if that is too low brow for you than keep driving, but if you need a clean room with TV, comfy bed, cold a/c and hot shower at a reasonable rate then stop and get some rest.

Stayed there last night. New owner and being renovated. We need more places like this!! Not perfect, but a comfortable, clean and secure place to spend the night at an affordable price. Wonderful staff! No breakfast (yet), but they have great coffee and there’s a good restaurant nearby.

If I could give no stars I would . First room there was blood on the pillowcase. Sheets dirty and very outdated stayed one night in the next semi clean room the moved us into . Two days after our stay we received and email stating that the bathroom door had been broken and tried to get my more dollars. Never did any one mess up any door

Always try to stay here when i go through the area. They are a nice quit clean hotel and i never have any issues. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. Book early they do get booked up from time to time.

The owner was extremely nice. Very informative at check-in time. The room was roomy, clean and quiet. If you need a microwave/fridge, ask for it at check-in. Bed was very comfortable...would recommend to anyone!

Ok the room itself is clean and niceish. But the TV is fuzzy. The dude upstairs is tapping drum beats on what sounds like an empty 5 gallon bucket and will not stop no matter how much I hit the ceiling or cuss at him. There's no fridge or microwave. The food at the truck stop sucked. The WiFi is useless "at least in room 104"...

Staff was very friendly and had a great price. They are clearly trying to fix the place up. My only complaint is that the sheets and covers had burn marks in them other than that it was a great stay
