Been seeing advertisements on Facebook & being a griller,I was very impressed & interested!!! So,when we decided to grill steaks for our Christmas dinner,I decided to come to your store in Calhoun.Called and talked to Mr Rick, he was so kind,friendly & very courteous.He had our steaks cut to our specifications ready. He even helped us decide on thickness. They look great and we can't wait to taste them. Thank you and your business and especially Mr.Rick. Went there today and wanted eggnog-nope none there-ask the guy behind register if they had any-very rude-told me if it wasn’t in cooler then there was none-bought a loaf of bread there last week-it was stale the next day-bought on Friday-according to the color on the tag it was made the prior Monday and right at $1 higher than Walmart-it was Sara Lee bread-doubt if that store will ever grace my presence again-unbelievable

First thing first, I wish you can give no stars, I stopped at this store for the first time on 11/18/23,one of the workers there greeted me, and then he seen that I was wearing a mask, and he told me that I would have to take my mask off, in order to shop there, so I told him that I don't need to do business with them, and walked away, please people don't do business with this kind of folks....

I visited this store for the first time, twice today. I was pleasantly surprised by selection, cleanliness, polite and helpful employees. My 2nd visit I was fortunate enough to actually meet the store manager. He took time out of his schedule to spend a few minutes answering my questions on fresh catfish as well as giving me a little history on the community. I would absolutely recommend this location to passing truck drivers and travelers/vacationers alike. I would shop here over any big chain store. I will definitely stop by again when I pass thru next time.

Calhoun Grocery just refused to let in a cancer patient going through chemo because they had a mask on. Your store isn’t worth someone dying for. They have a sign on their store. Blatant discrimination!!!

Love this place it is slightly higher than your regular grocery store..but it is a mom and pop store so they dont get discounts like Walmart. They had everything I needed and the staff are friendly and sweet. The racist remarks about this store are wrong .The employees are friendly to everyone and very helpful to everyone. Ill be back Ya'll

PREJUDICE.... Sad customer service not to mention I was watched the entire time. I have no need to steal especially since I'm a OTR Truck Driver. I will never ever step foot into this store ever again. My family is from Calhoun so I always stop and visit the travel center. This was my first time shopping at the grocery store and definitely will be my last. FYI the meat looks BAD!

This store is a small place but has most things and as a truck driver u can park across street at trk stop or next door at cb shop. They are so friendly

Over charged me 12$.Not competitive very high priced, checker made several key entry errors and deducts...i will not do my general grocery shopping there again. Its nice they are in Calhoun and saved driving in. But a 12$ error would have served me better in my gas tank!

There is no phone number for this place but I have a complaint that I would like to be addressed NOW. We bought $40 worth of groceries. I went to get my other bags and was told that I had everything. I am missing at least five items. I am too far to go back now. I am a truck driver and am SOL and am frankly angry. I bought a $4 or more small bag of shredded cheese, a jar of crushed garlic, Chia seed fruit cups, refried beans, a container of gravy, and cranberry sauce! I would have everything if she wasn't constantly telling me I had everything when I DIDN'T. I hope I see you when we come through La again. You probably did it in purpose and if you returned the items we left I hope you get caught. We WILL be back, and you had better pray you aren't working then. I don't doubt that they do this on purpose knowing we were truckers and that there is no number to call.

Great store to run in and grab something. A lot of the prices are higher but it saves a trip in to town. But the sure fine chips and the family style bread are the best. I make special trips just for those items.

For those of us used to having to trek into town for fresh foods, Calhoun Grocery seems heaven-sent! The friendly staff is just the icing on the cake (that we can now bake without having to drive 15 minutes each way.) Calhoun Grocery is a welcome part of this community!

I have got 2 be kidding, $33 4 2 steaks, $6 4 charcoal. This place worse than truck stop. U shop here, dumb add. How in the heck can u justify prices, beyond me. Total ripoff!! Avoid...

Yes it is more expensive, but quality is always more expensive. One thing about it as you don't have to worry about products that need to be places in the cooler sitting on the doc. I'll take it over Walmart in Ruston or Super 1 in Ruston....

Polite helpful good selection clean but prices a little high. When need lot of groceries unfortunately will still have to shop Super 1 or Mac's to get the lower prices and specials.

Good prices, decent selection, and more cost efficient than Max or Walmart neighborhood market. Plus I get to save money on gas and time by not having to drive 15 miles to west Monroe or Ruston.

The store has most anything you would need and if it dont you can ask the manager James Price and he will do his best to stock this item for you in the near future,I would give 5 stars except the prices are not exactly cheap
