Found this little gem on the highway. The store is clean the bathroom is clean and the staff friendly. Lots of choices for snacks. Prices are good. Ate at Sammy restaurant and the food is delicious! The waitress was the cook also. She was amazing.There is a pretty big lot for trucks too. I’ve added this place to my favorites for sure!

Had to stop for fuel and bathroom and decided to take a chance in the restaurant. Asked what was good and she said the burgers. She wasn't lying! It was amazing! Best burger we've had in a long time. If you're just passing through, don't pass this up!

I've been driving for 37 years, so I have learned to not expect too much and sometimes I end up very pleasantly surprised. I stopped here to take a shower again not really expecting much especially for the extremely reasonable price and this was one of the cleanest nicest showers that I have been in, in a long time. The only complaint that I would have isn't really even a complaint it's just a suggestion for better lighting and a table to set your bag on, but even with that it still deserves five stars. Thank you Sammy for giving us a good place to stop. Keep up the good work! 🙂

This is the second time I've come to this restaurant where the food was not freshly cooked. The bacon was so overcooked and dried out that it appeared to be cooked and heated several times. The biscuit gravy had been sitting out in it's individual container so that it had a hard thick film on top of it. Also, all they had were frozen style tater tots. Nothing they served appeared to have been prepared with any care to serve fresh meals; just a rush job to grab your money. I won't be back.

Parked overnight. Went in for coffee and a danish in the morning and literally stood there 20 minutes while the cashier counted her drawer. There must be a better way or better time to do this. 6am is get coffee and go time not watch people count money time.

I pulled over here to take a break on my motorcycle after something exploded on the visor of my helmet. I was extremely frustrated when I pulled in and was having little luck cleaning my visor. An employee of this establishment named Donald came out after I'm guessing noticing my frustration and gave me what I needed to get my visor back to where I could see through it again. I am extremely grateful for Mr. Donald's assistance and would like to point out just how rare it is to happen upon a station with this level of service as well as appreciation for their customers. Thank you so much Donald for your help.

This driveway and parking area is paved worse than the Louisiana roads. Definitely not going more than 5 mph in this parking lot. Lots of potholes mud and everything else. Just take it slow and be really careful. also make sure you swing wide entering and exiting or else your trailer will end up in the ditch.

I rarely buy anything from the convenience store because the prices are outrageously high. I have never eaten at the restaurant either. I gamble in the casino.

Typical truck stop where we got gasoline, munchies, and drinks. Restrooms clean and cashier efficient. Altho there was an unkept man sitting on the sidewalk in front of store drinking and smoking.

Couldn’t ask for much more. Food was great. Cooked fast and right in front of me. Had the crawfish po-boy and Cajun fries. Employees were all friendly, especially the cook. Store was clean and well stocked. Prices in restaurant and store seemed reasonable. Only downside is the rough parking lot and some mud. If all the drivers that park here spent a few bucks, maybe there’d be money in the budget to fix it up. If we want to to save these Mom N’ Pops from becoming one of the “big 3”, we gotta do our part and patronize them.

One of our favorites for sure... Ms Molly is magnificent... She knows what we drink and comes to our table with sweet teas, salads and a menu every time. It is a wonderful diner and we will continue to visit as often as we can .... You ROCK Molly 👏

Love the parking area. Very rough so you can’t drive on it like you are in the Daytona 500! Fuel pumps are quick. The lady working the desk was very pleasant. Didn’t go to the casino. We did go to the cafe/restaurant! That was the shining jewel! My wife ordered a Philly Cheese Steak and I ordered Sammy’s Burger! They both came with fries. They didn’t come with a table side cot to take a nap on immediately after your meal. 😆The lady serving was very beautiful and kind. The man that cooked our meal needs a huge raise! Wait! My wife just told me that our server cooked our meal, as well!! I was totally oblivious! I thought I was drunk after eating my meal. It was absolutely delicious. I have had some really good burgers in my life. This was one of them. Possibly the best ever. Are you hungry? Then what are you waiting for? I was waiting on Guy Fierri to come bursting through the front door with a camera crew! I feel my food nap attacking me. Off to bed. 😴

First time here, safe to say that we'll be back again when in the area. We were greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant by a waitress that not only took our order, but cooked and served our meal.....all while still helping other customers. As for the food.....the crawfish po'boy was as delicious as I had hoped, having never had one before. We also ordered the hamburger steak special.....rave reviews on that as well. For a small restaurant, definitely worth the trip

Enjoyed this stop more than pilot. Cafe food was good and friendly people. Hamburger steak with grilled onion and brown gravy.😋 Only reason I can't go 5 stars was the woman's restroom wasn't cleaned. Overall I'd stop here again.

Be careful fueling here. They do not pre-authorize the pump and they hold your card until you're done, so if there's a chance that your company doesn't have this as an authorized stop you're going to be screwed and not be able to pay for your fuel. The card readers at the pump will not work, they make you see the cashier first and leave your card and license with them.

Absolutely one of the best truck stops we've been to. The customer service is A++. The lady at the counter went above and beyond to get us a shower (without wait) and was extremely pleasant. The restaurant was outstanding! The lady running it tonight was doing everything; cooking, serving, cashiering, etc..and didn't miss a beat. The chicken fried steaks and everything that came with it.. All I can say is .. by far the BEST food on the road! She deserves a raise!!! .. Very Happy with our night! We will be back whenever our loads take us through here.

The server was nice very efficient. The food was good, diner type foods. We had the ham and cheese sandwich. It was very good.The men's bathroom was very bad. The urinals have a 1/4 inch build up of urine smelling bacteria. It was disgusting. A bottle of bleach (and they sell bleach) could fix it in about 2 minutes a day for a week. Just spray the urinal with a bleach solution and let it soak. 3/4 times a day. In a week they will be clean. No excuse for this!

Bathroom was not clean and a mess, no attention to detail. I am use to Buckies where the facilities are spotless. I would not recommend unless it was absolutely necessary.

Very clean & welcoming!We visit two days ago and boy, those burgers & fries 😋 !! Cheese melted to perfection, bacon was deliciously soft and not burned or baked into a crisp, even the buns were to warm buttery perfection! 💛Definitely visiting again!
