What a great place to get fresh and very delicious sandwiches and burgers.I love the old school decorations and installment. Very beautiful.Order at the window, and served in the indoor seating area.Nice Nd helpful staff.Prices are reasonable .Will coma again, definitely !

Please note, you order at the window and they serve you in the attached indoor seating area next door. We almost didn't come here based on a previous review that said there was no seating, but I called and they said there was, and I'm SO half I did, because the food was delicious!!! Poboys, burgers, fried plates, all kinds of stuff. So good! Don't miss it!!

I should have ordered their self-proclaimed “world famous sandwich” but instead asked for the special of the day. It was steak fingers and fries. While the fries were excellent the steak fingers were mediocre pre-frozen quality at best. My bad-great little cozy spot with indoor seating and a pickup window. Prices were right considering the menu items and current state of our economy. Kudos to Bunkie, LA!

Bernice's done got Too Expensive and The Guy's That Work in there don't act Friendly at all. But the Ladies that work there act Cool. But they done went up too high on the Food there n Their Food isn't as good as it has been in the Past. I'm being kind giving them 2 Stars 🌟 🌟

1st time there best bbq beef sandwich, if you want good ole fashion burgers or beef sandwich, I think this is it! Oh, and good homemade fudge not cut in squares, broken in pieces.

Unfortunately I forgot to ask for a receipt. However, I ordered a shrimp poboy (approx. 6”), Cajun fries and a drink. The poboy had 5 shrimp on it and there were about a handful of fries in the bag for $3, almost $4. I paid $16 for it. I will not be returning and due to my time constraints, I was unable to discuss my order as well as my coworker’s order with them. I saw an order of fries being placed on the rack as I was placing my order and I must say, it was 3 times the size of my order of fries in the same size bag. I drive through Bunkie often, and this is one place that I will not return to. I spoke with a resident and he stated that his order is always big and he doesn’t understand why our experience wasn’t the same. I will not be returning. I wanted to try something different because I usually go to the pizza place down the road. Definitely regretting that decision. Parking didn’t seem to be an issue. They asked if I could straighten out my vehicle. I thought I was straight. I parked parallel to the other vehicle in the lot. Later found out they meant perpendicular with the building.

The hamburgers were delicious. Wish there were more places to get a burger like this. It was well worth it, very tasty. The service was great too nice and friendly. Just wish they still had the Curly qs , I remember getting them as a kid. It's a must try place. We took a 25 minute drive just to get these delicious burgers!Thanks for staying in business!

I live near Dallas and visit family near Hattiesburg, MS every summer. We discovered this sandwich shop accidentally as it ended up on our path. O-M-G. The po-boys here are unreal. We had the grilled shrimp and the ham and cheese po-boys which were among the best I've ever had (and I've had few in my time). We also had the baked garlic cheese curds that didn't disappoint and disappeared almost before we got into our sandwiches. If you are looking for a kid friendly food establishment my kids loved the foot long corney dog along with crinkle and seasoned fries. They also had chicken nuggets on the menu.Word of note: they close at 2pm cst, but I called ahead when we were 20 out and had my order taken and ready at the drive up when I made it at 2 on the dot. (Probably not recommended to show up at 2 and want to visit the sit down side of the restaurant)Overall: Wonderful and extremely friendly service and the food was "stop everything and savor every bite" good. If we can make it by 2, this will be a yearly stop for us.Kid-friendliness: Per review, multiple dishes that are kid friendly

Very friendly folks, tasty food. This place makes me nostalgic for the little town where I grew up. They serve out of the walk-up window or they have a little space for inside dining. The Flook Burger is tremendous - a very tasty burger - almost too much to eat at one time. Mine came out a little bit rarer than I like so ask for the patties well done if you are picky.Vegetarian options: Not many besides fries, tater tots, etc.Parking: Parking lot is a little small but most folks are in & out quick so spaces open up fast.

One of my favorite things in this world is a TRUE REAL PO-BOY and they have the best one I've ever tasted. I've been trying a PO-BOY pretty much any place that says they have them and nothing comes close to the ones here. I'll never have another one from anywhere else and I look forward to the one time a year I get to pass through here to get back to this place.

This restaurant is an institution in Bunkie, La. It is better known for its Flook burger. Freshly made and one taste you will never want to go back to your old burger stand again. Stop by and give them a try. You won't be sorry.👍😀

Wonderful, wonderful! The creme de la creme of mom and pop restaurants for Avoyelles Parish! Just don't expect the dining area to be chic and sophist..... It's rather shabby, but clean.
