Took dog there for a dog fight my dog got into the doctor found out my dog had some work to his legs in both front legs and wanted to know the history of my it seems to in order found the dogs history wouldn't you see if he has a chip in him that would a lot well they didn't check seems they want do the surgery that he may need and said he send me to another hospital that could work on dog .I was disappointed to here there a hospital says RIGTH building animal hospital there able to do all things your dog may get into.

Will NEVER go to anyone else. We have been clients of Parkway for several years. I would not trust anyone else to care for or board our fur babies Bella and Eloise. Our pups have always been treated like family when they have needed to see the doctor or board them as we travel so often. They are the most compassionate, dependable, professional, and reasonable clinics around.

The staff at Parkway are kind and caring. You can tell they enjoy the work they do. They are compassionate and take the time to make sure you understand what is going on with your pet. They not only accommodated me immediately, but when my puppy needed extra services they made an appointment for me at a facility that could readily address is further needs. I am extremely fussy about my veterinary care. They were First rate. I highly recommend.

Worst place ever. Charge for unreasonable price. Really cheat people. Hope there is a 0 star I can rate for this place. Don’t care about the animal at all. My dog had a ear infection one time, I could even smell something bad from my dog’s ear. So when I went to this place saw the doctor and asked if he was able to check my dog’s ear. I saw him pulling the dark stuff out when he checked the ear. I asked multiple times about was there anything wrong, and he answered confidently no. After one week, when we brought my dog over there again for rabies shots, he told us that was pretty serious and all hairs on my dog’s ear was losing. Charged more than $200. Never charge below $100 for a visit. Don’t go. Avoid any cost if you can. Additionally, charged all stuff way high than market price.

My 3rd vet to try since moving here. The only one who didn’t upcharge me, push for unnecessary services or casually ignore concerns. Dr.Venable and his team have been realistic, compassionate and have done a very good job with my boxer. 10/10 will recommend. Thank you all!

I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone. We recently moved to the area and had never been to the office. When my dog became ill, the office fit him into the schedule based on his symptoms. The staff is very caring and friendly. The vet was very informative and understanding. She made every accommodation possible for my dog. I have two other dogs and will be using this office for their visits from now on.

In terms of costs, this clinic is among the most expensive in the area. In comparison to some clinics, in fact, it is well over 50% more expensive. However, we only had a short time frame to get our cat spayed and other clinics were unable to take us, so we decided to get the procedure done at this clinic anyway. In addition to the spay, I also requested that our cat get microchipped.Upon reviewing the microchip information online, I realized someone had inputted the incorrect address for my pet. I then attempted to correct the address on my end and discovered that you have to pay 24PetWatch $30 dollars to gain access this feature, with the cost reoccurring at $20 every year after. In previous instances in which I have gotten pets microchipped at other clinics, you pay up front a certain amount (usually $40), and you are able to change your address as needed without charge.Parkway Animal Hospital DID NOT tell us this important feature of our microchip would be locked behind a pay wall.IN ADDITION, when I called to discuss this issue with the vet clinic, Megan assured me that she would contact 24PetWatch, get the address fixed, and ask about the features which we locked behind the paywall. When she called me back, she told me the representative told her that changing the address was a free service. However, as the feature was still locked on my end, I called the number Megan provided me to inquire further about the issue. Upon speaking to a 24PetWatch representative myself, she confirmed for me that changing the address was indeed part of the premium plan - a direct contradiction to the information Megan provided.Due to the nature of my husband's work, we move frequently. This means we will essentially have to pay a costly fee every year to change the microchip address. At the very minimum, this information should be at least told to clients prior to inserting the microchip.With that being said, all provided medical services were excellent.The vet was very professional.

These guys should close the doors and never open again. Get ready for a huge bill when you get there for services they didn’t really provide. Our dog got heart worms after shots they supposedly had given. Then they blame it on us, saying they called over and over. Take your dogs to a real vet. There are plenty of others in Lafayette who won’t scam you for your money and actually take care of your dog.
