We stopped here because we had extra time before Crawfish town USA opened. We were really surprised to see all the different spices and foods that were available at this shop compared to our supermarket in Oklahoma. We bought 5 or 6 spices, a few bags of chips, and some soda. We were really impressed with how friendly everyone was and how cheap everything in the store was.

Shotty selection and too over priced. Watch out for expired things and always check your produce! Bought pre-packaged lettuce that I had to pick like greensSeems like no one is ever in a good mood. Cashiers don't say hello back, minimal customer service, maybe I should be another race because their attitudes change towards others. I wouldn't shop here if it wasn't for the convenience of not having to go a town over for a quick buy.

Kind Cajun folks work here, they are always offering help and have a smile on their faces! The store its self is always very clean , never a long wait to check out. If the lines get long I've seen the manager open up the check cashing area to check people out. The food is reasonably priced, and they make some of their own sausage that is amazing!! Produce is always fresh and if you have any problems someone will make it right ! Over all Heberts is a great place to shop and also a great place to grab a hot home cooked lunch on the go!

Rude service, and not a mask to be seen. I was given dirty looks when I entered wearing a mask. When I checked out, the cashier looked annoyed at first that she had to stop her conversation to ring me up, and when I was leaving she looked to her friends and rolled her eyes at me, ostensibly for my wearing a mask.

We camp at Cajun Palms and make time for a teip to Hebert's to buy specialty meats and Bonanza crawfish before we head back home. The employees are beyond helpful and friendly.

We live in Houston tx. Our friends Dawn and Alex Almond live there and cooked us chicken burgers and we are hooked!! Anytime we come thru, we have to stop and buy some!!! Can't get them anywhere else!!!
