We recently got two puppies and needed a vet to start their vaccines and make sure they’re up-to-date on all their shots, make sure they’re in good health, etc. I called that morning to schedule an appointment and when I told them I had two puppies that I just recently received, they offered me same-day service to get my puppies all set up! My husband is the one who actually went to the appointment and he said they were very friendly and extremely helpful. We were able to get both puppies set up on meds as they had come to us with pin worms and ear mites. Not only did they start them on their meds they sent us home with the rest and also sent home information on the issues so we could be educated on the issues they had as we are new puppy parents. They started their vaccine regiment, set us up for appointments to get the booster shots and made appointments to get them fixed in 6 months. They truly put our minds at ease and we are truly grateful for the doctors and staff at Bayou Teche!

Recently switched both my dogs over to Bayou Teche Vet Clinic. We had a great experience. I scheduled to bring one dog in for her annual but another dog happened to have some gastro issues so I called and asked if they could squeeze him in. Brandy the tech was the sweetest, she was so sweet with both of my babies. Dr. Chelsea was awesome. I love how she broke down the cost of everything without me having to ask- she also laid out all my options for me and was supportive of the option I chose. You could tell Dr. Chelsea really knows what she’s talking about. She is very thorough. I’m so glad I made the switch.

This is a business, I understand that. When your beloved pet is very sick, an needs diagnosed, treated, and the symptoms are obviously an infection, causing a high fever, antibiotics, either thru an infusion, or injection, along with a prescription are called for.They sold me a probiotic, anti inflammatory, an a $4.00 can of dog food, that my 6 dogs, or cats wouldn't touch.I brought him to another Vet the next morning, he couldn't even hold his head up. They immediately started an infusion of antibiotics, and kept him until closing time. He was critical. I brought him back the next morning, he was doing better. They prescribed antibiotics, and two days later, he is almost back to normal. I will never trust Bayou Teche with my pets again, when something as easy to diagnose as a fever induced infection, is missed.

Was charge emergency appt when my dog was dying. Spent over $500 for iv fluids and lab work and a shot of antibiotics and steroid just to have to come back later in the week to put my precious dog down. I had to be worked in for that as I didn't have $80 for emergency appt.I had asked for senior citizen discount and was told by vet no such thing. Would never go again never bring my other dog back as I had to pay$80 for emergency earlier this year in June.

The Doctors and staff are amazing! They are very helpful and knowledgeable with our epileptic pup. If they don’t have the answers they will reach out to a specialist more familiar with the situation. They go above and beyond because they are passionate about their career and love their patients like their own!!! Definitely recommend Dr Chelsea and Dr Audrey!! 💙🐾❤️

My lab was involved in a horrifying accident where he lost a back leg. This clinic happened to be the closest to me at that moment so I called at a chance that they could treat him STAT, and they didn't even hesitate to say yes. They were phenomenal in every aspect. Staff is super friendly, resourceful, professional yet personal and beyond compassionate. Prices were also reasonable. I recommend this place for emergency situations

Zack sprayed my kittens with off. Well i know better. Anyway my kitten got poisoned and was on the brink of death. This place was so great they saved my kittens life and was so kind and sweet. It was extremely affordable and I am so happy. This has been my most touching review yet.

Everyone is so sweet and professional. I'm always greeted with a smile. They are efficient and thorough. They seem to care about every animal that comes through their office. Dr Poyner had to euthanize my dog one time, and they treated her death with the utmost respect and dignity. They made me feel comforted in the worst decision that I had to make. I love coming to a smaller office like this.
