I was just ran in to by a Spanish teen looks no older then 11 years old along with a black and white child. I m currently 13 weeks pregnant. I was they ran into my right abdomen area causing me to experience pain.No type of security was available just a manager in the manager was very nice but what about my protection..I was furious where are the parents. If security was patroling I feel like this could have been avoided..

1st, it was way too warm in there. 2. I love bargains. Rolling back a penny or 2? Why....3. Clearance items are supposed to be a deal. 50% or more. An awesome deal. Those prices take the fun out of it. 4. There's a night shift that stocks the merchandise right? Is that not enough time? Seriously, those pallets in practically every isle, a stocker, a ladder a rolling cart, dodging all that, other customers, and the stocker's attention to detail with headphones on. Why? Couldn't it wait until after closing? I do not walk so well. When it gets close to closing I don't need the aggravation of feeling like I have to hurry. News flash the store closes to customers coming in after 10pm. Let me finish in peace. That 10 to 30 minutes will pass. As a waitress if I got a table of 4 at a minute to ten, They deserve the same respect as the dinner crowd at 6pm. No rushing either, that was cause for dismissal.Please keep the isles clear until 10pm/closing.

I noticed customers were bringing shopping carts in from the parking lot. There were none inside the doors. I told the 3 employees standing just inside that we needed a cart and they said to go to the grocery side.

Not a good experience on a early Sunday morning. I came in to pick up an expensive grill and ALL of the associates had a nasty attitude. I had to find a cart myself, unload the junk on it, load the grill myself then NO REGISTERS WERE OPEN. when the store is open there should at least be one register. I had to get a manager just to check out and she was also apparently annoyed by having to do their jobs.

The ladies in the tire service area could use some people skill classes. I came in to buy a brake light for my truck. They were nice enough to point me into the right direction but since I needed assistance due to the fact the case was locked, that took about 30 minutes. Extremely rude and totally unprofessional. I would strongly advise anyone to go elsewhere for any service they need.

Totally ridiculous. Went in to buy a Christmas tree and they have an entire wall of trees in garden center in bays all marked multiple bay marked $19 one at $29 and one for $10. So when the tree rings up $47 we ask them match the price since its only logical you think there price is $19. Showed cashier a picture of the trees in the back with not one bay marked for $47 and she went back to check. Says we are good rings it up and need the override but the head cashier or night manager says no the tree is $47. REALLY !!! You dont even have a tag or freaking bay labeled or marked for $47!!!!

This Wal-Mart in Boutte is my favorite because they usually have everything I want and the employees are very nice and helpful. The only bad comment I have is that I am a Wal-Mart+ member and when I do a home delivery, it doesn't come from here but rather from the Jefferson Hwy store and they are horrible, employees and all. They're always out of a lot of things I order or in some kind of way, they get it wrong or my favorite, FORGET something at the store.. So mainly, I can't complain about this location at all. It's definitely worth the couple extra miles drive.

Tried contacting the deli dept to place an order for over a hour let the phone ring for 10 yes 10 minutes to NO ANSWER I then tried the main store cust service asked the operator what time the deli opens up put me on never ending & hold could not give a quick answer of opening time I sat on hold for 5 minutes then transferred me to the deli that no one answers. Called back to try for a store mgr to another never ending ring.

I came from Marrero to shop at your store such a great store. If I go to the neighborhood market in Gretna I have to check out my own stuff and I refuse to before I do that I will go to Winn-Dixie I have heart trouble and I ain't got time to get stressed out so that's why I come to your store people are so much friendlier ring up your groceries the guys in the parking lot the buggy guys help you put your groceries in your truck you never see that over here, it's really hard on me to let cases of water especially when you got 40 count I do love your store thanks from being there

The store was hustling and bustling. the prices are ok considering everything has gone up in pricing. Charging extra for plastic bags is absolutely stupid, just another way to nickel and dime a customer. It pretty much stays the same every time I go, lazy employees in the store.And, I found out that they can't legally detain you for not stopping to show your receipt. You have the right to step around them and tell them to have a good day. They can't physically step in front of you or interfere with you leaving. They've become really aggressive at the door.

Usually more well stocked than most. Normally don't have to wait long to use self checkout. Employees are friendly and helpful. I had one item that the scan code and label were damaged and unreadable. The associate told me he couldn't scan it. I asked him if I could go and swap it out for an undamaged one. He said yes and continued scanning my other items. By the time I was back (a minute and a half, tops) he had finished and bagged everything and I handed him the replacement item and he completed my purchase while enabling the customer behind me to get his stuff onto the conveyor. Very nice and efficient.

I would give this more then 5 stars if I could. Today I had a bad personal experience and going through a rough time financially. I did not realize how much over I went with my small budget trying to feed a family of 4 until after the transaction was already happening. Needless to say I was short and asked if it could be voided out because the line was being held up and I didn't want to make the cashier go back and ring through everything that I could afford. He told me he couldn't void it because the transaction was already happening. All I wanted to do was run away from embarrassment but I went to customer service just to tell them I cannot purchase the items today and that I was just going to leave but I didn't want to walk out with the line being held up and not tell someone. During me telling her I'm so sorry but I'm just going to go ill put everything back not only did she offer to cover my difference with was a good amount but she also said not to worry about putting it back and not at any point made me feel stupid for being in that situation. She said she would void it out for me so I took my two kids and headed back to my truck, I didn't even make it to my vehicle before I heard someone behind me saying ma'am ma'am I turned around and there she was with my grocery basket. She on her own covered my difference anyway and not only that but she loaded my groceries into my truck while I dealt with my kids (my 1.5 year old was having a fit) I unfortunately did not ask her name because of the overwhelmedness I was feeling and I wish I would have so I could shout her out personally. But if walmart or the higher ups see this she was working in customer service today I was there at around 11:40am and if you see this I cannot not thank you enough for showing me kindness like that. I have never experienced that much kindness from a person much less a stranger before. I sobbed in my truck the whole way home not just because of the embarassment but more because of that amount of kindess she showed me today. She deserves to be praised, made employee of the month, give her a raise everything!!! And my intention when I do get the money is to find her again and pay her fully back with interest!

This Walmart is always clean and safe. The employees are nice and helpful when needed. The bread and desert selection is fantastic. The new spirits section is awesome.

I usually come to this location. The stock of products is not as available on everything as it used to be. I came this time for tires. Fair prices. Wait time varies on what you have done. Currently there are 3 technicians unlike what they use to have, which was 6.Many employees are demanding a increase in wages for the amount of work and hours they put in daily. Plus the economy increase, people need the raises. Companies would rather close before they pay for labor.I was informed on Thursday that the Harahan and Laplace Walmart locations have had to close the automotive departments due to labor shortage.You can shop around while you wait or sit in the small waiting room.Yes, they have bathrooms in the front of the store.

I don't go to this location often. I'm glad I went today. There were some really good sales. But I'm writing this review because of a worker. Ms. Theresa at the fitting room is AWESOME. She showed us some merchandise that was marked down. She helped us find items and gave us some help on matching items. All while maintaining the fitting room, hanging up items and I even seen her answering the phone. I couldn't believe how much she appears to like her job, interacting with the customers and such a pleasant attitude. I wish all employees were like her. Ms. Theresa thank you so much for your wonderful service. I hope Walmart appreciate you.

Me and my dad were being followed at the Walmart in boutte and we asked them why they said they didn’t work there. Later, while we were checking out, the lady that was following us told the lady at self checkout to watch us closely and make sure we pay for everything that we have. Then we requested the manager and the manager told us that they are allowed to follow us if they have a reason. We asked what the reason was and they said they didn’t have to tell us anything. So we called corporate to resolve the situation and corporate told them they had to tell us and they still did not tell us why they were following us and so we decided to leave. Get it together Walmart!

Overall great company. On some days customer assistants are slow. A few days ago my dad and i were looking for some vinyl material, we tried for a worker and multiple passed us but didn't help. we were stuck for hours waiting until finally a lady about to go on lunch break. Overall the experience is great. Definitely will come back!

Always helpful people working there and if I can't find it I ask an employee or a customer to help me out. Customers there are very nice people. I can't say anything bad about the store or it's employees or their customers. Keep up the great job and hospitality. Love Walmart shop several times a month there.

There were signs of extra cleaning being carried out. The staff wore masks. They are uncomfortable, the masks, so I appreciate the concern for their costumers. Good job, and praise for all the workers. Very pleasant shopping.
