This worse pharmacy Walgreens has. I had place an order and select to pick up the other thru the drive thru. When I told the Pharmacy Tech Cynthia about my pick up order she refused to assist. She lied and said that this Walgreens does not offer this service. I simply told her if they did not offer the service, it wouldn’t be an option on the app. She then kept saying we don’t offer the service, I then corrected her and said I have picked up my curbside order along with my medication before why can’t you do this now. She then got an attitude and said we close at 6 and I don’t feel like going to get the order. I wasn’t going to argue with a person that clearly doesn’t care about her job or the companies clients. As a result I had to go to the curbside pickup location to pick up the order. When I spoke to the store manager via phone, she apologized and said that the pharmacy Technician Cynthia does this on a regular basis. This woman needs to be fired.

I’m working in Grand Isle for hurricane restoration damages with Entergy, from Arkansas, due to Hurricane Ida, and I had medication shipped here through Fedex. I called twice to let them know I was on my way to pick up the package and was running a few minutes late to their closing hours at 5:00pm today. I asked them if they could leave the package outside or work with me somehow so I could have my medication that was shipped. I even spoke to the manager through the front locked doors when I arrived and all she could tell me was to come back tomorrow. I’m disappointed there was no attempt at even giving me any explanation as all she could tell me was “you’re going to have to come back tomorrow.” I did speak with a nice young lady before the manager and she mentioned they would have to scan the package, so I at least had some resolution as to why they couldn’t work with me, e.g. if their systems shut down at the precise time or something, but the manager had terrible customer service and made no effort to help.

This Walgreens is the absolute worse.Trying to get medication filled here is a joke. No one knows what they are doing. Always a nightmare to get your medicine filled (if it ever gets filled) in an orderly timely manner without confusion. It’s always an issue. I’m surprised they are still open and not shut down due to their incompetence. I would rather go an hour away to use a pharmacy that does their job correctly than to use the Walgreens in Boutte.

This pharmacy has the rudest staff I have ever encountered. They have lied to me, been rude to me in person and over the phone, and go out of their way to not follow Walgreen policies. They refuse to work with me when I try to fill a prescription one day earlier (which is the policy). They rudely tell you that they have the right to make the rules. They even reference that due to all of the "drug abusers in the area that we have to deal with" they have to do this. Guess I am a "drug dealer"? My doctor's office has also had to get involved with them and fight to get my prescriptions. Today - the agent told me wrong information twice! They tried telling me that February had 30 days in the month (it has 28).STAY AWAY!!!! THEY NEED TO BE REPORTED TO THE BBB! CHOOSE another pharmacy otherwise you will need to be on medicine to deal with them - especially Erika!!!

This Walgreens can not keep enough staff to deal with the amount of prescriptions. They open and close for reasons unknown without notice.Do not have any prescriptions sent there. I had surgery and needed desperately pain killers and antibiotics it took me 48 hours to get them transferred to another Walgreens.The entire store opens at 9am and closes at 7pmBuyer be where 12/31/21

Does not answer their phones. Actively ignores them even! After being hung up on after my first twenty minute hold without even speaking to a living person (but hearing the phone picked up and put on hold several times), I called back, got a "please hold" after 15 minutes, and am now at the 45 minute mark of waiting and got hung up on a second time as I wrote this review. Ironically, I'm trying to get my prescription transfered to a different pharmacy because I moved! Guess I'll have to drive from Raceland to wait in the drive through for 30 minutes like the last time I needed to pick up a prescription. Switch to CVS, I will be.

I signed up for auto fill on my prescriptions and at first it was good... but then one day they said my high blood pressure medicine was out of stock. I went 3 days without my medicine and I finally called them and they said that the medicine has come in but for some reason they didn’t fill my script. I had to walk there and back, in a thunderstorm, a long way, just to get my medicine that day.Now today, I’ve been without my allergy medicine for 3 days, no notice, nothing. I went to pick up a different medicine that was ready and was told that they have my allergy medicine but the computers are down so they can’t fill my script until after 8pm tonight... what should have been filled 3 days ago.This pharmacy is horrible with the auto fill program and I’m thinking about switching. I would give zero stars if I could.

No complaints with store. However - Poor customer service in Pharmacy. Pharmacy staff is rude , deceitful, and all need a course in customer service. They even “run out” of certain medicines quite often. Walgreens Corporate needs to be made aware.

This Walgreens ignores people over the phone. I've filled out an application to work there and the lady puts me on hold every time I ask for a manager and when the phone redials she repeats herself as if she hunged up on me. If y'all not hiring just say that, don't be posting jobs if you don't want people working there because they got people out here who really want new jobs. I called multiple times up there and no response yet from the manager.

I went to Walgreen pharmacy on hwy 90 in Boutee, La. at 8:15 this morning to get a rx filled while I waited. I was told that it would be ready at 10:30. I said no, I want to wait on it. There was no other person there to wait and no one at the drive thru. But, they still would not fill my Rx while I waited. They were unapologetic about it either. It was almost with an attitude. I took back my Rx and told the pharmacist that I would go to Winn Dixie. I have read and heard bad reviews before about this store. Now, I believe them.. I took my Rx to Winn Dixie and they filled it with a smile.And it only took 10 minutes. Thank you Winn Dixie.

Unfortunately Walgreens is the only Pharmacy we can get our prescriptions filled at with our insurance. The staff is so rude and act as if they can treat you any way they want. Sad thing is even when you complain to Management nothing changes.

I was at the pharmacy window prior to 8:00 a.m. and the blinds were not open until 8:07. The call button on the drive up window continued to ring. I had to call from my cell phone to get someone to answer. The pharmacist that came to window didn’t smile or apologize for opening late.This is the same pharmacy that will ignore a prescription refill if the medication is out of stock. When the prescription is re-stocked you don’t receive any type of notification.Again, I pulled up after 8:00 a.m. and the pharmacy was not open. The staff didn’t apologize or greet with a smile. What is wrong with opening a few minutes prior to 8:00?Update: The staff is rude.Update: 9/7/2018Walgreens in Boutte, LA advertises the closing time on Friday as 10:00 p.m., not before 10:00 p.m. Customers that walk up prior to 10:00 p.m. should be allowed in to shop. Since the doors are closed prior to 10:00 p.m. I’ll assume that that this location is permanently closed.Unfortunately, this is not the first incident at this Walgreens. Previously, the store didn’t open the doors after 8:00 a.m. when their open time is 8:00 a.m.Fortunately, customers have a choice to shop at other stores such as CVS.

All around just horrible. So sad because they’re are limited pharmacies in the area. The pharmacy closes at random times or days and their phone lines have you waiting for ridiculous amount of time and the Walgreens app seems to not communicate with only this location. I have been a customer of Walgreens for years in multiple states and cities in LA and have never seen anything like this.

They work very slow. They are ALWAYS RUDE. Never smile, say please or Thankyou or even acknowledge new costumers when they say hello. Even when I asked to speak directly to the pharmacist regarding a medication specific question the pharmacist was rude as well.

I read a lot of the reviews for this walgreens and I must say that I have not had this issue. I have had to wait a while in both the drive thru and inside but I hav always took into account that they are understaffed. They get slammed when people get off work. Just try to put yourself in their shoes. I'm not making excuses for being rude but just saying.

The pharmacy DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!!! Or, they answer and put the phone back on the hook. Horrible! I can't even get my pharmacy changed because they won't answer the phone from another pharmacy either. They should all be fired!

This store has one of the worst pharmacies I’ve ever dealt with. It takes hours for them to fill prescriptions and when they don’t have your medication they don’t say anything. You get there and there just oh we are out of that.

The pharmcist Erica (the correct spelling) needs to be evaluated for compentcy in pharmaceuticals. She exhibits anger issues in addition to perhaps an illness with her eyes which seem to roll constantly while talking to customers. Suggestions: vacation, customer training, eye appointment. Customers Beware!!!
