I absolutely love to shop local! The owners did a great job with the remodel after Ida. I will always go here before anywhere else. Make sure you sign up for the rewards. You earn points on everything, and there is a bread and milk club where you can earn bread and milk for free. Definitely has the best fresh French bread!

Wow! What a premium gourmet presentation and feel. Clean as a whistle. I was offered 2 times by the staff to help find something. Not a thing out of place. People in the background rooms busy working and inventory checkers moving shelf items forward. An extra cashier line was opened as checkout line was growing to 3. A walk-in cooler for the beer selections. Hot bread was coming out so I snatched my share. Everything comparable in prices as other grocery stores. I'm sure the neighbourhood was happy for their reopening (on Reggie's birthday) after Ida. Great work showed through. I was careful not to take pictures with people in it. The place was busy.

Went Inside Store For 2 Bag's Of Ice, But Smelt The Bread In The Back That Was Baked, And Bought 2 French Loafs. I Gave 1 Away And Ate The Other With Butter And Strawberry Jam. Yummy Food.

I remember as a child growing up on Klondyke Rd it was called Dupre's. My mom would take me and my sister showing with her there. As I grew up, I remember mom sending me there for things she forgot. I have long ago left Bourg (34 years ago), and now reside in the mountains of East Tennessee, but the memories of that supermarket will always be with me. Time may change things, but time cannot erase the memories.

This store always has the best meat for the best prices. You never have to wait in line at the register's for any length of time. The staff is friendly and courteous. I drive over 30 miles once a week to make groceries at Boutg Supermarket.

Usually have nice produce. Their meats are fresh esp. the ground beef and fresh sausage are really good. Friendly folks, good clean supermarket. They also make rotisserie chicken, fresh French bread. Try them out, when you come down the bayou or your next fishing trip.

Does anyone say thank you for your business or simply say thank you when checking out at a store or supermarket anymore? “Here you go” is pretty unpleasant in my opinion. Maybe I should have apologized for disturbing the young man while he was at work.

Been going to the bourg supermarket all my life... the best French read always made hot and soft when you pick it up... meat selection is pretty decent but overall a great place to get food down the bayou

Very small but has it own unique character. I swing by here if I happen to be in the bourg area if I need to stock up on good items like ice cream or can goods.

Now When I shop at Bourg Super IReflect upon the metamorphis it hasUndergone since I moved to Bourg25 years ago. The selections have more than quadrupled!! I used to BEG THE STAFFTo have automatic doors installed.(ThisFell upon deaf ears for almost 2 decades).The renovation if the entire store wasFantastic and I was pleased the bakeryWas left in place!! The modernizationWithout destroying the.local atmosphere makes the store maintain its own charm.I'm pleased that the parking lot has expanded to simultaneously serve all the locals who enjoy shopping there as I do!
