Gil went ABOVE AND BEYOND to find us two ingredients we needed for our family diner. The store was experiencing a partial power outage and we could tell he was busy but Gil listened and took the time to find what we needed. Service like this is rare and our family diner is better with the two ingredients Gil hunted down.

I have been going to kroger for more then a full year now since i moved and it has helped me keep up with being local and friendly as they can be. They do seem to be under staff a lot but it wont effect my review since even though they are short staff i have even seen the manager come down to checkout and help! Even during times when dairy or frozen items were unavailable during an event, they told me the most likely time to come back if i wanted to get something. So 5 stars for the service and effort, and 5 stars for the best that they try

I came to do some grocery shopping, it was a good size load i was getting...and there were no carts !!! They were all outside, except the ones that the employees were using to restock and move items.. think they would be more concerned with making sure their customers had carts to shop with.. also, this store has been doing some remodeling ... which they now have all cosmetics, hair items, batteries behind a little locked area. If you want anything out of that area you HAVE to pay for it there...mind you I had groceries ready. So, they want you to make two transactions in one store, I assume due to people stealing. However, I walked away and will get all my items at Walmart from now on. I dont have to make two transactions (all i needed was cotton balls...) Also, it amazes me how they can get one person back there to check people out, but never have check out lanes open, everything is self check out...great job Krogers...

One of the worst Kroger's in the country. Not the worst mind you. But it is small, has narrow isles, and very limited selection. Don't ask about Diet A&W Root Beer. They have never heard of it. The meat selection sucks and there is a limited selection of almost anything. If you want better choices, there are Family Market Krogers in Shreveport and Bossier on Airline. This place is for convenience and not selection.

Y'all need to change y'all's hours on here. If you say your open till midnight, you better be open. Why am I pulling up around 11 and you're closed?? Same goes for the one on Youree. People used Google maps to figure out business's hours all the time. Y'all used to be open till 1. What happened??

The prices are great, but the service has gone down the drain. This store, being the oldest Kroger in Bossier, is a bit on the dumpy side. TBH, before today, I had given this store 4 stars until my experience today. At the time the cleanliness of the store had very little to do with the experience. I approached the cashier and greeted her like I do all cashiers. I then explained that my Kroger Reward card wasn't working by phone# and asked could she look it up by actual card #. She then assumed I was talking about an EBT card. Not sure why. Maybe I look poor? Her attitude every time I've been there has been less than acceptable. This time when I confronted her about her treatment of me, she started yelling at me and calling me names. Well, I'll say I told her her attitude was bad to which she replied, "Takes one to know one." Last time I asked if they could make change for $20 in ones, her attitude then was pretty bad too. I then asked if she was the manager. I thought there was no way the lady behind the customer service desk was the manager and just sat there listening to our exchange w/o so much as a word to her employee. But she was. So I approached her to complain. She didn't even respond to my complaint. Instead, she just fixed the phone number on my Rewards card. A team is only as strong as it's leader. Good thing there's a cleaner, cheaper Walmart not 1 min away.

The managers at this store show favoritism and are very unprofessional. I worked there for 3 years and they fired me for something I didn’t do on purpose but other people that have and still doing it continue to work there. The managers harassed me and pick with me out of everybody. They say they go by Seniority but every week I would always have the lowest about of hours and people that started after me would have more. The store manager shouldn’t work customer service because he is not a good manager and so rude. I tried to call out 1 time because my baby was sick and he told me that was not Kroger problem and he didn’t care I needed to come to work. While I was out in leave they didn’t pay like they was suppose to. They are not doing a good job to insure that the workers don’t contact the virus, they suppose to make everybody wear mask and check temperature when you get there some days I worked 4 or 5 hrs before they checked my temperature. They are very unprofessional and nobody care. I thought Kroger was a better company to work for.....

I don't usually have any incidents at this location but today, May 20th 2021, the cashier Anna changed that. She was rude and argued with me. This was unacceptable. Management could please talk with employees about customer service mannerisms.

2 cashiers with 8 people in each line and the Express lane with no one in line. Five minutes with no progress in line and the Assistant Manager opens the Express line for us.He was an extremely personable guy and appeared to really care about his customers, but the other cashiers were just slow. You could tell they took no pride in their work and were there just to punch the clock. I actually felt bad for the manager having to put up with his low quality cashiers.The store was very clean and the shelves were well stocked but the subpar cashiers made for a somewhat aggravating visit.

This is my favorite grocery store to visit in South Bossier! The service is helpful and friendly! The layout of the store makes it easy to shop, and there is almost never a crowd, making for a nice, relaxed shopping experience. Items they carry include food and drinks, hair care supplies, seasonal items, alcohol, flowers, and cards.This particular location doesn't have the best selection when it comes to certain foods, but it tends to have the things I need. The only thing it could really use is a deli, since there is no freshly sliced deli meats in store. However, their selection of fresh cut beef, chicken, and pork is fantastic, and there are many clearanced meats as well!A good way to improve your shopping experience there is to get a Kroger card, which is completely free of charge. By using it with each purchase, you will save more, get free coupons for items you frequently purchase, and can even get money off of your gas! If you plan on shopping at Kroger frequently, or if you already do, definitely take advantage of this.Overall, Kroger is a fantastic place for local shopping and I would recommend this store for anyone!

Went in there specifically for milk and q-tips tonight. Dairy section had plastic up. Milk I grabbed was cold (an employee said I wasn't supposed to do that but since I had it was fine). Was then told they couldn't sell me the milk if the plastic was up "until further notice" and called a manager. I told them forget it, I don't have time for this and left. Were they waiting for the milk to reach optimal temperature and then sell it? After it had gotten too warm?

They just need to close thise store and fire the management. The service desk is never open the manager there has an i dont care attitude. I have been doing business in that store for over 35 years, but when the management has a dont care attitude fine. I will be going to Brookshire just down the road.

Manager was great! But pass by on this old school Kroger Store. Makes the other chains look bad for image and experience. Needs a big upgrade. Guess it suits the neighbor-hood though. Good luck!

Like Walmart but superior. Godmart. Don't come here to buy Asian noodles though, they don't have any. Good variety of Vegan items. Employees are nice and will try to find you savings at checkout.

Everyone that works there is so rude. Their attitudes just make me irritated every time I go.NOW one of their workers stole $1500 from our credit card somehow and it was shut off while we were traveling. I guess that’s why they have such bad attitudes...they just suck as people in general.
