I stopped in this family dollar store to get a couple of box fans to donate to people they don’t have air-conditioning. At this particular visit the store was actually in better shape than usual, because they normally have start piling all of the shelves with open boxes all over the floor. Customer service here is good and other than being kind of cluttered. It’s a good stop.

12/19/2023 The worst customer service by the manager that I have ever received in my life. She Refused to honor the price advertised on the store shelves (3 signs, all same pricing). Then had a bad attitude and would not answer basic questions.

Rude!! I pulled up at 920 last night and the door was locked even tho I could see a customer inside shopping.The Lady at the register looked at me and I asked if they closed early tonight and she rolled her eyes at me and looked the other way! So uncalled for and hurt my feelings because I am always so nice to everyone I have encountered at this store. I then got in my car and called the store number and in the mean time 2 other customers walked up to the door and the same lady that rolled her eyes at me walked to the door with a smile and informed them that they were only letting 1 customer in at a time. I will not be coming back to this store and I will file a complaint with corporate.

I love the family dollar store on Barksdale Blvd., by Golden Meadows in Bossier City, USA...With one exception,I spend way too much money on a buggy full of stuff that usually isn't anywhere on my shopping list, (this makes two exceptions) of course,I never spend enough ON what I went there to get to begin with...Today I went to the Family Dollar Store because I needed 4 medium size flower pots... I shopped for about 20 minutes (it took a lot longer than that to get $65 worth of stuff that I didn't need)Now satisfied with my selection of flower pots I put them in the buggy with the rest of the stuff I spent $65.00 on...I was so excited to get back home to finally re-pot a few very neglected house plants...It was to my surprise, when I got home, to find out that I didn't buy the first flower pot... that was the whole reason I went to the Family Dollar Store...I looked at my receipt... the flower pots, I picked out, were not on there...Somehow, I did not purchase them!!!!How?I did put them in the buggy,(at least I was almost positive I did)Sadly, I hadn't paid for the flower pots I went to go get. (I'm not blaming fds)My bad!!!!Family Dollar Stores do need to pay better attention to their gardening department...Especially, since they consider gardening to be a SEASONAL item...Flower pots have holes in the bottom, they should come with a tray to either catch the excess water in or to be used to water the plant... Many of their flower pots didn't come with this tray or the holes in the bottom of some of the pots.Miracle Grow?orMulch?NOT IN STOCK(on the last two attempts I made up there this year)Then there are the sold-out gardening gloves that seem to be a very popular item this year...What???@!!! Come on people order up and stock up...That's what I get for trying to get out of going to Large Lively Lowes...Then I REALLY would overspend my limits...Thanks, Family Dollar Stores...BECAUSE:The staff is always friendly and the store is always clean...They got cool stuff at really groovy prices... CHECK IT AND SEE...

Store is new. Not well stocked, yet. Lots of $1 shelves empty. All the greeting cards $1. A mix of good and not so good prices. Check it out. You'll find something you need. Quick in and out. Convenient.

This is a brand new store and already looks trashy on the inside. Isles are narrow and cluttered with left over boxes from employees stocking the shelves. This seems to be a common trend with other Family Dollar stores I have been to.

Prices are very decent. Holiday cards are worth a dollar, ramen noodles are worth a dollar, even candy packs are worth a dollar.
