Best groomer I've been to! My dog is typically anxious at the groomer but they were able to accommodate her and make her feel comfortable. After she was done being groomed I was in shock with how good she looked! We've been taking her to groomers for 5 years and she's never looked this good. She was so happy and calm. She even let them cut her nails which she typically doesn't do. Plus they gave her a little bandana. We will definitely be taking her back. I attached some before and after Pics.

The first time we had issues, we had to take 1 of our dogs to the vet with a ear infection, the 2nd time with the same dog we had to take him to the vet again with a ear infection, both time the ear was compacted with hair and junk. The 3rd time was with my older pug (10 years old) he started shivering and walking backwards, we took him to the vet and they ran a full examination and found that his ears were full of hair and junk, he had a ear infection as well. They tried to tell me that they had cleaned their ears and I told them that I can bring my 3rd dog up there and show them that his ears are full of hair and junk, were they didn’t clean his ears as well. Over all with my 3 dogs, mainly my oldest this has cost me almost $2,000. I told them I’m not looking for any kind of reimbursement but I will not ever use them again.

Was really worried about taking my grandbaby a siberian husky to a groomer but Amore Pet Care knew Exactly how to care for a Husky & did an Amazing job with her. She was So happy when I picked her up. I do have 1 issue the inside of her hind legs are in patches I know they said she didn't like it when they got to her belly & inside of legs but it's not good. I hope they will learn how to improve in this area. Other than that I will Definitely be making Amore Pet Care my Fo to Groomers for my Beautiful All White Siberian Husky Granddaughter ❤️

Took my dog there for a bath and nail trim and it took them 3 hours to do nothing. When I picked up my dog she still smelled terrible and her nails hadn’t been touched. Waste of time and money.

It is the best place to take your dog. They do a great grooming job. I think it is the best in Shreveport.

Let me start by saying I have been using Amore for over a year now and I am outraged at the way I was treated on my last visit. I will not call out the groomer even though I should! I had a conversation with this specific groomer the day before I came in to let her know how matted my golden doodle was and I had been brushing her. It seemed the more I brushed her the more matted she became. I go pick her up and got yelled at and scolded like a little kid saying “ this is the worst matting I have ever seen!” To make matters worse this groomer proceeds to put actually throw up on her table another person’s dog and wanted to me to show her how I brush my dogs! And all Sarah is there watching this all take place! I had tears rolling down my face as I drove off! This place should be SHUT DOWN! How dare you let one of groomers talk to a customer that way! I have never in my life been treated like that from “professional groomer “ and never will again! Shame on you Sara for allowing this! Do better!

First of all, thank you to the staff of Amore Pet Care. My Scrappy is older (16) and not the most friendly of animals. Not only was the staff understanding but he came out looking like a new man!I truly have anxiety every time I drop him off to be groomed because some have decided they can’t. My fears and worries were definitely put aside.

I tried Amore because it is close to my house and 2 of my 3 dogs dont like to travel. The shop is clean and bright. The staff seems very accommodating and appear to understand animals and their feelings. My dogs looked great when done. Both dogs looked happy and calm when I picked them up. I think the pricing is extremely reasonable. We will definitely use them for all our dog grooming needs. Thanks Amore for taking such good care of my babies❤

They are awesome! They're really good with your pets and take good care of them. I have (2) two small senior dogs and my girls were very excited about their grooming. Very nice and polite group of workers.

Sarah and her team are so great! Their grooming skill is next level. Our dogs always look and smell so good after their grooming. Everyone is so nice and the shop is so cute and clean. 100% recommend!

Sarah did a fabulous job on my puppy. It was our first time bringing him and our pup first time getting groom at the shop. Sarah was so nice and being patient. She work us in on the same day and waited for us to get there before she closed. Went beyond and above, our pup got so clean, very well detailed. She trim the whole body perfectly, smell so good, ear, and potty areas were clean. Our puppy is usually move around a lot when we used to try to trim him up, so we know he's hard and Sarah did a fantastic job. The price is great and professionalism is a plus for sure. Thank you Sarah!

Took excellent care of my fur-babies. Accepted us as a walk in for toenail clipping several times and has always done great work in a timely manner. Seemed to be patient and gentle and very loving toward my puppies. Will definitely take them back for grooming services.

We were passing through Bossier and our 3 furkids desperately needed to be groomed. We are very picky, and took our chances. We are certainly glad we did. For the first time in a long time they all 3 came back to us just like we asked for them to be. I usually have to fix, cut, shave something on all 3. Not this time. 😃🙏🏼🐶 This will be our new “Spaw” for them when we come through Bossier. Thank you for taking great care of them and making them shine! I love the girls bows, too! They were spoiled with bows and bandannas! They usually get one or the other but never both, that was a plus!! 5 🌟for fair pricing and for being able to accommodate us for getting all 3 in on the same day!!

Sarah, the owner always accommodates me and seems very professional. My concern with any and every groomer is the general lack of knoledge concerning anatomy and the problems of specific dog breeds and individual animals. As a medical school professor and someone who sees or hears of terrible stories from some "highly respected" groomers, I feel duty bound yo try to let Sarah know the individual problems of each of my dogs. With this in mind, I might suggest that Sarah asks about the problems of each animal and takes some spare time to read up about the individual breeds. I am sure she will enjoy such reading and gain all the business she deserves.I would like to think Sarah will find the possibility to give discounts, that may be tax deductible, to the elderly, disabled or other persons with special needs. Perhaps even for those with service dogs used for those with seizures, emotional needs (PTSD for one example), or other less commonly recognized conditions.My strongest support of Sarah and her groomers comes however from my dogs. They always return home happy and full of thee joys of life. That has not ways been the case in the past. Apart from that, they enjoy the, for me, exceptionally long drive to visit with Sarah.On a personal note, this review is no more than a reflection of our texts and conversations. Thank you, Sarah, you are much appreciated and recommended!

Melody Small is THE BEST groomer around. She is thorough, careful and gentle with my Morkie girl. You can tell she really cares for the pets she grooms. She is friendly and understanding. A professional in my book. She's the only gal I know I can trust. I highly recommend her.

Overall poor service. Injured our dog’s ears by clipping them too short. Dog needed antibiotics and other medicine from a vet. Seemed to be an honest mistake. When asked not to clip ears so short on another visit they blamed us for not brushing the dog, and refused service. Overall lack of professionalism and poor quality care.

We have used Amore since they opened & are always very happy with our dogs when we pick them up. The only place we would take our yorkie to before she passed away. Staff is always friendly too!

This place is awesome!!! I called and was able to get a same day appointment...I have a toy poodle that was definitely in need of grooming...Sarah really took care of her, and I was able to get the Miami cut I was wanting!! Thanks Sarah and I really love how friendly and hospitable you are!!

Dropped my pet off at 10:45 cause was told to drop him off at 11:00 and by 3:30 he had still not been groomed. Tried to call twice and see if he was ready and no one answered. This is not the first time this has happened, but it was the last time. Word to the wise, if you don't want your pet to be there all day, you have to tell them and have them there first thing in the morning. That information was never told to us till today.
