Out of towner.went in as I do once a year to get a pound of lunch meat from the deli.waited at least 5 minutes.found the lady in back on her cell her,not good on customer service!!!

I was told the deli stops slicing orders so that the work in the deli can be out by 7 pm. Now I got here at 6:30 and was denied service at the deli I have never heard of a business operating in this manner no deli service at the food depot outrageous in heard of im new to this city and normal customer interaction was dismal

Great store good product availability, great sales and deals, not overcrowded. Produce fresh , fresh meat not large selection on meat but basic for dinner planning. Store itself is not modern nor updated for online shopping or curbside. But the deals and service well worth the lack of advance technology. Friendly sales associates and cashier's.

Nice looking pork ribsStore clean and orderly. Clerks talking to one another, not paying attention to customers (who pay their salaries). Some steaks were gray and showing signs of old age. This store is about average. Nothing to be excited about. And definitely not worth it special trip.

The food selection is pretty good and the sales are as well. A couple of the cashiers, however, could take the joy out of a FREE shopping experience. Other cashiers are great, but you never know which you're going to get at checkout. Some customer service training could potentially help this store greatly.

I'm not sure why they add an extra 10% on there price at the register. You would think that taxes would be enough but now they add there on taxes on the price also no matter what form of payment you use

Prices look cheap but they add 10% on and that is not a tax. The particular day that I went they had something reduced but it was still ringing up as the full price. The Isles were blocked where you couldn't even get a cart through it to shop. Definitely a fire hazard. I spoke to management they were extremely rude. The problem was not addressed professionally. It was an assistant manager I spoke to, the regular managers are very nice. I doubt if I will be going back in there anytime soon because of the rudeness of the assistant manager. The prices are not that great.

THE REASON WHY I GAVE THEM 2 STAR'S IS THE FACT THAT WHILE YOU ARE SHOPPING EVERYTHING IS MARKED WITH ONE PRICE , BUT WHEN YOU GET TO THE CHECK OUT , THEY ADD A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE TO YOUR PERCHANCE'S , I ONCE ASKED A MANGER WHY DID THEY DO THIS , AND HE TREATED ME LIKE A MUSHROOM AND TRYED KEEPING IN THE DARK AND FEEDING ME A LINE OF BULLS☆☆T , BY TELLING ME THAT IT KEEPS THEIR COMPETITION , FROM BEATING THEIR PRICES , IT DOESN'T TAKE A ROCKET SCIENTIST TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO BEAT THEIR PRICES , WITCH ON QUITE A FEW OF THEIR ITEM'S , CAN BE PURCHASED AT WAL-MART , DOLLAR GENERAL , OR DOLLAR TREE , A LOT CHEAPER !!!!

Typical grocery store except at this one you think your getting a great deal then at the register they add 10% to your bill which is the amount you thought you were going to be saving! Restrooms are up stairs so be prepared. Other than that good place to grab a thing or two if you're in a hurry.

As of right now, April 1, 2022, Food Depot is the ONLY 50¢ drink machine left around Bogalusa that I know of. Everywhere else has done raised their prices from what I have seen.

Horrible...on 4/21/18Store wouldn't honor 1.48 on Quaker Oaks cereal...told us the only way we were to get it for that price we had to use the coupon.After using the $3 off coupon the cereal wasn't ringing up for 1.48. Cashier was really rude and both on duty managers agreeded to her statement. I shop there alot and knew it wasn't true!Ended up being overcharged$36 and returning the cereal.Very disappointed...asked for the home office number and the mamager stated that they didn't have one... God will take care of them but I feel sorry for the elderly and the people who can't read or comprehend that shop there.

They need better management we was in there last night around 6pm one cashier has a line all but to the meat department and the manager on was outside talking it was horrible. The poor cashier was doing her best but Food Depot is a big grocery store for one little cashier to run the whole store

We usually try to shop local and fooddepot has good prices on most items. Im not one to normally complain, I work in customer service myself so I understand some days can be trying. Unfortunately not all of their cashiers have mastered the art of customer service. They will talk about you in a very derogatory manner while your standing there. They do not treat the customers with respect at all, they act like customers are a problem because now they have to do their actual job. Then they move on to Facebook to slander and antagonize a fight after any confrontation. I wont be spending anymore money there, nor will my family. I hope in the future they will hold their employees to some type of standard.

Pay no attention to the last review from Vanessa Cotton . This woman is not nice. She doesn't understand there is a worker shortage and wants to be rude to employees... I have never been to this business but if the employees are like me they have been worked to death with very little time off. This lady don't care about anyone but her self.

Food Depot has got my last Dollar! I won't be back. Produce was empty and a wreck, out of lots of items, shelves haven't been straightened in God knows when! Floors dirty and dingy looking. You pay a 10 percent sur charge to shop there. No matter how you are paying; Cash, Debit, Credit, Check, Food Stamps, you pay that 10 percent charge. You also pay another 10 percent in sales taxes for the city of Bogalusa. So your not saving any money shopping with Food Depot! If anything there taking 20 percent on top of their prices for taxes and a sur charge to shop there. Won't Be Back!

The usual cashier was in a horrible mood. Complained of our baby in the basket and the fact she had to ring up another WIC. Then asked ,since I was using food stamps, if I had enough to pay for it if the food stamps were short. Actually covered her ears when the baby was squealing. She was also very rude when talking to the manager, Josh. Very bad attitude.
