Dropped my puppy of there to go to on a short 3 day trip to dallas and they were amazing. I received updates, the faciliese are very affordable and as big or small as you need for fur babies. I will absolutely use them again!!

The staff are so kind, caring, and professional. We only use Barktail’s grooming for our elderly dog, Alley. We use their grooming, daycare, and boarding services for our younger one, Krewe. Alley has a groomer there who does so well with her that I started specifically requesting her when I schedule her next appointments at pickup! Krewe is barely out of puppyhood so he’s a handful. He comes home from daycare WORN OUT! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Krewe injured himself due to his own chaotic energy that required a little first aid and TLC. The owner was right there to hand him over to me himself and explained the situation and every step that happened before, during, and after his little mishap transparently. The owner eased any worries I might have had and answered all of my questions without hesitation or deflection. He expressed nothing but concern for my dog. His actions did the opposite of deter me from bringing my dogs back, but rather gave me more confidence in knowing I chose the right place to send my dogs. ❤️

I know it’s been 3 years since I brought my fur babies here. But I never gave a review. Better late than never. I absolutely miss this place. Left Louisiana in 2018. Live in TX now and have not found a groomer or boarding facility as GREAT as Barkstails. They knew how to handle my little 3.5lb Yorkie Mila. Always consistent!! Thanks

My dog runs to their door when I take her to the BarksTail HairForce doggy daycare. She loves to go there. All staff are super friendly and love dogs. Nice clean space to play with other dogs. I used to walk her with my bicycle because she is super hyper and she needs a lot of exercise. Now, she is calm and is relaxed when she comes home from daycare.

I cant say enough good about this place. When I first walked in I noticed how neat and orderly the front room was with a great selection of pet items. The staff that greated me were friendly and informative .I explained how my cat of 20yrs desperately needed shaved, wasnt looking for anything beautiful, just wanted her comfortable.I returned for "Seven's" appt. a few weeks later. I was met by a gentleman whom took the time to listen about the shape of Sevens coat and explained to me the ways they would go about cleaning her up. I returned a couple hours later the same gentleman brought Seven out accompanied by Ms Heather B whom had done the work. I could not of been more delighted, she looked wonderful AND comfortable. I cannot thank you enough.

I was highly impressed with the groomer for my pup! Sunni took my highly matted and stressed out pup when no one else would! She talked to him and took her time to make him feel comfortable. I am so thankful for her! My pup looks great and feels so much better now.

Nick, thank you for a safe place for my Petey to play and socialize!! Every time I bring him here he comes home so exhausted and always with the sweetest report card telling me about his day! I enjoy seeing the pictures you take of him and the other dogs at camp. The grooming salon is great as well but plan ahead - they are very busy and always booked but very much worth the wait! We will miss you guys!!

We love BarksTail and so does Stitich. We had went somewhere else becauss we moved but Stitch started getting spots missing from her hair. Well they take good care of her here. Worth it for us to drive 45 mins.

Our dogs have been going to doggie daycare for several years now as we do not like them to stay at home by themselves during the day. We take 3 regularly to Barkstail and absolutely love the service we receive from the daycare. The two younger ones run towards the door every morning to play with their friends. Absolutely love it there!!!!

We have both our dogs boarded and groomed here and they love it. Other places I have to drag my dogs into the room to have them boarded. At BarksTail my dogs run to the boarding rooms. They love it and I highly recommend them.

We took our German Shepherd to Barkstail and they did a fabulous job for a reasonable price for a dog her size. Anywhere we use to take her it was $100 just for a bath and a shave. We took her here and they did an all inclusive package for $75 and she came home with a report card about her day there and precious bandana. :) we will continue to bring our dogs here from now on. They were very nice and they loved our precious Zoey.

I hate to provide a bad rating but have been interested in taking my dog to give her a bath at their location for several month. I visited a pet hotel in Little Rock that had an awesome raised bath and even provided towels and shampoo. I decided to visit on Saturday around 3pm and was told the self washing bath was taken by a local groomer for the day. I would just visit another day but am moving from the area so it wouldn’t work to come back again. Very disappointing...

My fiancé picked my dog up after being groomed and the male employee that gave her my dog told her that I was rude and cranky when I had dropped her off earlier in the morning (i wasn’t rude, I just work overnight shifts so I am dead tired by 8 in the morning). He then told my fiancé that they could not groom my 4 month old dog anymore because she was “too hyper.”

It was our first time using BarksTail. Took Gator in for his 1st grooming and they were awesome. The owner took us and showed us around it's a very nice facility. We will go back!

They really helped our Charlie a ton! Charlie is our sweet little rescue. There was mats all over him. Though we have attempted to clear a good amount of them, we needed help. Charlie was constantly scratching at the mats on his face and they've caused a restriction for him during eating plenty enough. One to many times. We have asked a couple places for help but initially was turned down or the cost was very expensive. Barkstail hairforce sounded like a great place so we went there. The appt was set up incredibly fast, Charlie was finished in just a few hours ( that was a surprise to me because his hair was crazy) and the price worked perfect for our emergency. Even Charlie's personality has changed. He hasn't had anymore choking episodes from the hair on his face, especially drinking water. It makes us happy seeing him able to be the pup he is and showing the relief he deserves. They did a fantastic job. He doesn't just look better, he feels better.

Parking is not ideal for loading and unloading dogs. Our 11 year old Shitzu was not groomed well. The report card was not filled out.

These guys and gals are so great. They treat my boy so good and are such a friendly staff. My boy comes out looking and smelling fresh. It's a clean environment and one of my faves that I have ever taken him to.
