Clothing quality has really gone down. Less and less items . Too much liquir sold. It's almost like a close-out sale throughout the NEX.

One of my worst shopping experiences. My husband and I were in to pick up a few items and found several pieces of merchandise on sale. We asked about a damaged Yeti that was in a bin marked an additional 25% off sale items. Someone proceeded to take it from us and go to the front desk to verify, she spoke to someone that said it was only 20% off. We said ok and she walked away. Then the issue started with Shaina because of her I may never go back to the NEX and I will definitely tell all of my friends and family about the rude experience. After she processed to tell us several of the sale items, including the Yeti were not an additional percentage off we just left them as your store had misleadingly labeled or posted signs to indicate otherwise. False advertising is not looked upon favorably and it would also make a difference if your scan bars throughout the store were in working order. We wasted valuable time because of the scan bars, confusion and rudeness of Shaina. Better customer service, working equipment and correct signage would have avoided this experience. I see this as learning experience of how to lose customers!!

The staff are friendly and courteous. The product selection is average...but...they do have a walk-in beer fridge. Sure, though most of it is dedicated to the Bud-Miller-Coors type stuff, they do have one wall with a better selection. The uniform shop is great if you're an average sized male, for everything else you can special order.

Wide selection of items. everything was reasonably priced even had a florist inside of it. The commissary is also right on site and a Subway restaurant. They had alot of really good clearance items when I went. The store layout is a little confusing, but after the 2nd day, I pretty much had it figured out. Check out was good and quick.

Best prices usually and I love when I have a scratch off coupon. I’ve bought Michael Kors purses here for a fraction of the cost. If you check online you will see how great of prices I’m talking about

Not a big store but so far so good! I've been to the NEX two times. Second time I was looking for school supplies and just didn't have alot. On top of that, the sale was not great, just ok. Clothing has a good selection for women except for undergarments. Again, my expectations are not much for this store because of location and size.

Your oversight of hiring T-mobile employees for your kiosk has led to not having any employees for Thanksgiving week and the best sales of the season for tax free purchases. Get a better plan or use managers to help. Good thing I can go to McDill AFB in Tampa this week to get sale. But all others are not as lucky...New Orleans at its best and you guys fail the mitary and veterans on simple things.

it's really small but has the jist of mostly everything you see at regular NEX/PX's. the lines move fast. clean store but I wish it were a little larger but I guess it's the right size for the size of the base. I'm sure reviews will go up once the gas station is finished being built.

Helpful staff and great facilities. The selection can be better but it does well enough since the staff puts fourth a great effort to maximize your experience! Mr. Chilla in electronics does an amazing job! Go to him for any of your questions or needs.

I always have a good experience here! The cashiers are super friendly and the prices are amazing! I went to buy alcohol for Mardi Gras and I spent $234 on 7 bottles of liquor,including the biggest bottle of Hennessy! Get yourself a military friend

I am in New Orleans for just a couple of weeks. I got new uniforms and insignias that needed to be put on. The two ladies in uniform area were amazing. They helped me find what i was needing. They were super nice and patient

I have utilized the commissary and really enjoy the fantastic assistance from the meat department. They keep the shelves stocked when the meats are in. I love the discount freezer section. The Ox tails were priced great.The Exchange is also a great place to shop. The section where the linens are is prime priced without comparison to the economy plus the help you get from the very nice young African American young lady.The MWR office is beyond words with all the different things to do and places to visit. The information is so vast you just fall in love with how informed the staff is. They are so helpful in answering any and all questions the retirees have. I love that place.The JAG office is such a treat. I have visited there more than three times and they are top of the chart customer service minded. So professional and courteous to the retiree/customer. Awesome! My favorite was the young gentleman that recently left on another tour in the NAVY was beyond helpful in assisting me with my Powers of Attorneys and now there’s a new young woman that is heading up that office and she is as knowledgeable as he was. Awesome JAG staff.I have enjoyed saying how professional and courteous everyone there has been. Oh! Got to chat with the Command Sergeants Major of the facility while in the Commissary and it was a flashback of Army at its best. SGM YOU ROCK!My awesome experience on JRB Bellechase

Only one barber working on a Sunday morning. Terrible planning. Line is over 10 people long. Not to mention everything is priced higher than in town. For example, a Keurig 525 was priced at 169.99. Same Keurig at Best Buy was 149.99 and came with a $30 Best Buy gift card and Google home speaker. Backwards from what a NEX should be.

This is a small place. But they have everything that you need. I always find the best deal on bags and jewelry department. Most of the staffs are very friendly and helpful

The customer service is great, there are only two problems with it. First that I see is th the Subway is not open 24/7. There are personnel working night shift and the galley is closed. Most places around close at 10pm. The other issue is that they close during state and federal holidays. Again there are personnel and transients coming thru the base and with no Shoppette open 24/7 the least they could have open is the Subway or maybe opening some other fast food joints on base.

Not too bad for an NEX. It is much smaller than what I'm used to, and there is not usually a good selection of clearance items compared to other NEX, but the staff are very polite and helpful.

The prices are great and you save on taxes. However, buyers should be told before purchases are made that the NEX Belle Chasse does not provide set up with delivery as does almost all NEXs I’ve shopped at . I found out the day of delivery that I would need to pay someone else to put my beds together and hook up my washer and dryer. The amount I have to pay a Contracter defeats the purpose of shopping at the NEX. I’ll look elsewhere from now on.

I wish they had a little more variety and they need to scale back on the amount of liquor they took out so much room to put those extra rows of liquor we are such a small base there are so many more things that we need over rows and rows of liquor
