Pretty good Walmart. Some of the staff avoid you when you ask for assistance. Besides that, the shopping experience here is pretty neat. I was in and out in 15 minutes. That's pretty good for such a big store.

Nice, clean, and well stocked. Weren’t greeted on our way into the store, but friendly goodbye on our way out. The whole middle section of the store where clothing would normally be found is blocked off with floor to ceiling plastic curtains/sheets and I wouldn’t have expected it as there is no warning outside or upon entering the store. But overall a pleasant Walmart experience.

We shop at this Walmart nearly every wk -- our Walmart experience at this store is generally average. My negative review pertains to a specific situation. We placed a small custom bakery order online for scheduled pickup on a certain date. That (early) evening, our son was turned away by an associate despite the bakery still being "open". Per the associate, no one was assigned to work in the bakery and not one person in the store could hand my son our box of cupcakes. When he got home, I phoned the store. The operator reported the associate was entirely wrong and offered to transfer me to management to come up with a solution since the cupcakes were needed that evening. After 20 mins on hold, my husband phoned from a different line and got the same operator. She claimed to have "just found" the manager and promised she would transfer the call immediately. After an additional 13 mins on hold, Walmart disconnected my call. Again, it was a small order. I did not expect them to care. But I do expect to be able to rely upon posted hours, performance of basic job duties by store employees, etc. or else I cannot rely upon getting what I need. It was a relatively straightforward situation, and it could have been handled differently from start to finish without much difficulty. I therefore recommend avoiding any "custom" services at this particular store. While routine shopping at this store is generally typical, my family's recent experience reflects an inability by this store to troubleshoot problems as well as a lack of consideration by its staff from floor associate up to management.

I hate that they seem to run out of the items like! Prices are higher! I hate that I have use self check out, but they check your recepit when you leave store if you purchase toliet paper or paper towels! If you don't trust me to use self check out after i spend $200.00 a week, then should more than two cashiers!

My family and I love ❤️ this Walmart. It is very well kept and stocked. It is by far the best one located in Baton Rouge. The managers here are doing a great job with their employees and store. Highly recommended.

ATTENTION!This Walmart is being renovated and only the grocery portion is available to shop in. We are from out of town and this was the closest Walmart to our hotel. When we realized that what we were looking for was unavailable, we just drove to another Walmart.

They are almost always out of items that we buy normally. The staff is rude. Nobody can run a register and check you out but then they hound you at the door for the receipt because you did self check out.

At 11:01 PM, there was only one line open. This location doesn’t close until 12:00 AM. There were many employees walking around together who do not appear to be working. However, I’m sure that’s not their job or department. I hope the single cashier (OP#00050) gets a five star rating from management because she deserves it.

1:30 pm on Sept 23rd I was buying a few bottles wine along with a full entire cart of groceries and 2 black female employees were harassing me and my child when I was checking out. They told me that I was too young to have a teenager and they can’t sell me alcohol. HOW PREJUDICED. Even the customers infront and behind me said that it doesn’t make sense. The manager MES BARNES came and told me that it’s the law to get everyone’s ID. My child isn’t even old enough to have an ID!!! I am never coming back and I’ll make sure everyone I know doesn’t ship here either. I had to check out my groceries and tell my daughter to go back to the car so I could go back in by myself and purchase the bottles of wine. The manager Mrs Barnes was EXTREMELY RUDE. She was very hostile in her responses and when I asked please she ignored me and turned to her coworkers and asked if they could “handle it” and she also said “I hate when these people come in here and tell me how to do my job” Then another much nicer employee named Nova explained to me that the cashier was just doing her job and probably should not of said that to me and she checked me out. Thank you Miss Nova. I appreciate you being understanding and non confrontational. GIVE NOVA A RAISE AND FIRE MRS BARNES!!!

Wal-Mart is wall-mart. They are not the best in town but they have better prices than anybody, on most items. You have to watch them, they will charge you twice when you only bought one.

It is never unfair when you are threaten by an employee for doing a good act. At 3:30pm July 28th I was shopping with family and an employee threatened me for accidentally knocking some kit kat bars off a shelf me trying to be a good customer and Samaritan picked the item up the employee yells snarls and threats about violence and telling me yes you had better pick it up don't make me look bad on my job I will beat your a** I am disabled I was triggered mentally the Caucasian employee standing next to the African American employee told him you don't have to talk to a customer like that and he told me it was not my obligation to pick up item. It was not fair to embarrass my mom who shops at your store faithfully what a horrible way to treat a customer and I need justice and compensation for this situation he triggered my mental psych threatening me I don't think he should work there anymore how about you?

Walmart delivery won’t let us cancel the delivery because they are 2 days late! They would rather put our frozen groceries on the porch to spoil all day while we are at work. Garbage company. I will make sure everyone and their momma knows never use Walmart delivery.

Looking at the reviews, it is no surprise when their store manager is also horrible. The store manager Jessica seems more concerned about herself and her paycheck instead of helping customers to maintain that paycheck. You know what they say, bad management trickles down into bad customer service. And there are better walmarts in br, and this one takes the prize for being the worst.

If I could give a zero I would ! I made some purchases that I didn’t need and went to return to the store. I went straight to customer service which then I was informed that a door person was supposed to place a sticker on it. The guy wasn’t there ! When I got to the older guy he asked me “ When did I come in “ ? It doesn’t matter he wasn’t there ! I had my receipt and all ! They basically was implying stole items or whatever! That’s not how you handle business

A smaller, more manageable Wal-Mart. Not a huge selection, but good for a neighborhood market stop. They have the essentials, but don't go looking for anything special. Great self checkout and a reasonably clean store with easy access.
