Fantastic experience. Julie, his groomer, did an awesome job. My 6 month old mini poodle Muffin got his 1st big boy cut and he looks so cute. The staff is patient and friendly and Muffin came back to me calm and happy.UPDATE:I brought Muffin in to look nice for his 1st birthday. I wasn’t disappointed. His cut came out beautiful and he was picture perfect for his special day!

Petz Plaza takes excellent care of my rescue bulldog with bladder/UTI issues. She most recently boarded for 7 days in a suite with a window - the stay and play package. She came home happy and healthy. The staff is great - professional, friendly, quick to respond, and super attentive and sweet with the boarding pets. PP prices are very reasonable, and the facility is very nice and on the quiet side for boarding.

Edit: one year later and they are STILL understaffed and an employee overdosed a dog and it needed it’s stomach pumped because this is what happens when you let random employees give dogs medicine. They removed the lead only for meds rule while i was still there 💀don’t board your dog here there’s literally only 3 animal care employees right now, all overworked to where they can’t take care of their pets, i would know because i just quit from poor management and overworking. They care more about making money than the dogs and the employees. I literally saw the assistant manager leave daycare dogs unattended for like 5 minutes while she went inside and talked to another employee, endangering the dogs outside if a fight occurred and no one was there to to stop it. She didn’t face ANY consequences. That same assistant manager decided that one of the receptionists was fully trained to do daycare yet that same day i caught the new person bringing in daycare dogs by leaving them all outside unattended while she brought the dogs in two at a time. The managers do not care about the dogs and make sure to schedule 60+ dogs on the weekends with only TWO people working for those dogs, going as far to yell at us when we try to deny more than this number. The managers also do not help with the work when the kennel techs are overworked and beg for help, then come back from weekends bragging about their vacations. I’m honestly surprised this place hasn’t collapsed yet from the terrible management. They let terrible receptionists stay for months without firing them even thought they caused daily problems. (note they have been fired after we went to hr about it). These receptionists lost collars and leashes, medicine, and let dogs loose into the facility without trying to fix the situation they caused and were allowed to keep working here without repercussions for too long. They suck and their business is going downhill. Period.Also i added some pictures to prove i worked there, there’s one of me walking a dog, the roof caving down over some kennels, along with a couple others. i can no longer say i recommend anyone being there dog here because of greed and negligence.I do still enjoy some of the people working there but I still can’t recommend people go here because of how little the staff is and how little the managers care if they overwork anyone they still have left.

Our 🐶 Pesto experienced his first grooming appointment at Pet Plaza on Perkins Rd today. The process was smooth and easy. We provided his vaccination records and quickly made an appointment last week. There was adequate availability. He was dropped off by my husband (have till 10am to drop off) and I received a text message when the grooming was completed. The cost was reasonable for haircut, nails and anal glands . His collar was safely kept in his own locker, so no items were missing at pick up. His cut was cute and I can finally see my Aussiedoodle’s 👀!! Thank you Pet Plaza. Julie at Per Plaza has been the only groomer I have found to cut my sweet LARGE standard doodle consistently and excellently! He looks amazing and more importantly HAPPY every time I pick him up!

My vet recommended Petz Plaza. My 15 year old toy poodle has become a difficult subject. Petz Plaza was kind and patient, and in spite of the trouble she gave Noel, Shu-Shu looks great. I highly recommend.

HIGHLY unsatisfied! My dog has been coming here for TWO years & I was treated with the utmost disrespect by the manager Lauren today. My dog came in for his usual sanitary appointment. I get a call from the groomer stating that she accidentally shaved a part of his neck hair. She was beyond sweet about it and apologized profusely.. even offered me a discount. I told her I totally understand, mistakes happen. But while we were on the phone, she told me that Fendi (my dog) was shaved down. I told her that he should not have been shaved down AT ALL but said that the notes instructed for her to do so. My dog was shaved by the groomer about 4 months ago due to him being matted. So when I dropped him off this morning and they asked me if I wanted to do “the usual” they instead shaved him (like they did from his previous visit) instead of giving him the usual facial trim that he has gotten since we started coming here. Mind you, my dog has been shaved before here due to him being matted and when I come in and say “the usual” they have NEVER re-shaved him!!! I totally understand that things may get lost in translation, I even told the groomer on the phone that I understand, but how you fix the situation as a MANAGER speaks volume! The receptionist told me she will let me speak to the manager & when she called her, the manager repeatedly told me “she’s off the clock”, huffed and puffed (yes, like a child) on the phone while stating that “she does not have time for this.” If you feel as “you’re off the clock” and “don’t have time” for the mistake that was made, then you, as a manager, need to have someone who is on call who can deal with any situations that may arise. I fully planned on brining my dog back as I am a completely understanding person. But the way I was spoken to today by Lauren, was totally unacceptable. I even mentioned that last time I was here they lost my dogs food bowl (which they told me last time there’s nothing they can do about it & I just have to buy another one). She was nasty, had ZERO sincerity for the situation, and tried to place blame on the groomer by insinuating that it was the groomers fault and there’s nothing she feels she needs to do about it, Instead of taking responsibility. I appreciate the groomer, Cat, who made sure I understood how sorry she was for the mistake. But as far as Lauren, as a manager, it is imperative that you always make sure your customers leave satisfied & happy. She failed terribly at this today and I will not be returning.

Great boarding facility! My husky loves staying here (as much as a dog would enjoy a boarding facility hahaha). Office staff is amazing! Clean facility, and very attentive to animal needs.Reason for loss in stars: Recently Petz Plaza has brought on a 3rd party call center which removes the personable aspect to booking and managing reservations. Although more efficient for the office staff to not get so many calls, it removes true customer interaction from the business from start to finish. The call center, through questions asked, is clearly collecting data that is not necessary. Previously if I needed to adjust or cancel a service from the business it was no questions asked just a no worries let us know if there is anything else we can help you with and hope to see you and your dog in the future. Now it’s why are you canceling, and like talking to a robot that finishes conversation by pushing a recommendation of downloading an app and exploring services at other places of business. Even when booking the original stays was like talking to a robot and took much longer than it had previously to do so. Hate to be the one to put out “what if” scenarios but with no calls made recently to Petz Plaza by me actually went to a staff member on site it poses the question of, what if I needed to get ahold of the staff on site regarding my pet that is time sensitive? The call center is going to have to be a medium to getting ahold of the office playing a game of telephone. From experience of having questions when booking the two upcoming stays that were canceled this morning, the call center rep said let me reach out to the office, then proceeded to place me on a 10ish minute hold to ask simple questions. Moral of this is if I wanted to do business with a call center regarding my pet staying under their care I would call a major chain pet boarding facility.Again from previous experiences working with the office staff on site no complaints what so ever! Just wish it stayed being the small operation feel rather than feeling like another large corp business.

Brought my Westie to Petz Plaza for his first Westie grooming. They are wonderful! Knowledgeable and friendly staff. And Mister looks adorable and like a Westie now rather than a big ol poofball. Will def bring him in again and will recommend Petz Plaza on Perkins to anyone and everyone. Thank y’all!Amber Wooten andMister!

Pets were boarded there. Great service and friendly atmosphere. It's a little but on the pricey side but they do offer plenty of services for your companion. Our dogs came out smelling great and happy.
