Maybe three stars is too generous or harsh. After reading, you can decide. The groomers were great and I understand they have their limits; however, I will not be bringing my dog back. I dropped my dog off 10 minutes before his scheduled appointment. He was perfectly fine going in. I picked him up about four and a half hours later, and he’s acting strange. He didn’t want me touching him near his head. I took him out to my car, where I noticed he wasn’t opening his eye. I tried to flush his eye with water. No help. I take him back inside and ask the groomer what happened. She says he must have gotten hair in his eye and helped me flush his eye with a saline solution they had. She tells me to flush his eye again if he still won’t open it later. I take him home and thirty minutes has passed. He’s not opening his eye and it’s starting to swell. I took him to his emergency vet, where we found that an ulcer formed in his eye due to a tear. The vet explained it could have been a hair, but they couldn’t determine what caused the tear. For a week, my dog had to wear a cone, take antibiotics orally and via drops in his eye, and pain medicine.Again, the staff were great in customer service and his cut was fine, but I’m mortified at the fact that he was like that for God knows how long and no one told me. I’m deeply disappointed in how the staff appeared to neglect to let me know something was wrong. I don’t care if it happened mid-groom or towards the end—some notification would have been greatly appreciated. I am not asking to be reimbursed for any services. I am, however, asking that Petco Grooming be better about paying attention to the condition of the animals.

Please Please Please whatever you do, do not bring your doggy here. I have a poodle and bishon mix so my puppy is fluffy and round cut. I brought in my puppy and petco grooming literally cut her legs uneven, her hair on the top of her head uneven. Her head is so little compared to her body. I have so many complaints. I am convinced that they hire anybody and put your baby in the hands of anybody to groom them. I’m not even mad though because people told me do not bring her here. The fact that they charged me $78 and couldn’t even have the decency to cut my puppy even. Her paws have strings of uneven hair just sticking out. I am no groomer so that says a lot if I can see how careless whomever groomed her was. Literally one of her legs is so fluffy and the other is so skinny. Idk why they cut her paws so tiny also and I did not ask of that. It is really sickening and makes me really question the morals of petco grooming. I’m pretty sure it is all about money to them!

Waited 30 minutes for me to be recognized by a dog groomer. The service took 6+ hours. I had to call them several times before someone finally picked up. Whenever they picked up, they finally told me that my dog was ready. I explained to them that since the service took longer than expected that I would not be able to get my dog immediately and asked what time was the latest to pick her up. She did not give an answer and instead stated that my dog was ready to be picked up once again. I finally got there to get her whenever I had time and I was told that I must now book VIP in order to get my dog serviced. I explained that I was not called whenever my dog was ready and that they did NOT call my phone (I am by my phone all day). So I told them that I will not be coming back and the business seemed okay with that.

They always take care of him and do him right. I have been here multiple times. They have all kinds of deals at this store. They are always super friendly.

The service was good and the groomer was polite. But, I specifically asked that she do a very light trim on my mini schnauzers beard. She cut off a few inches on his chin area and his mustache was very uneven. The overall quality of the rest of the cut was ok and she did not shave his stomach area or behind at all. For the price we paid I will be taking my business elsewhere next time.

Groomer was very kind and sweet. She have so much patience considering how hype my baby girl is. She made sure every thing was okay before leaving. I appreciated her work so much I even left a tip ! Good job ! We will be back soon I promise. This place is my number one GoTo for all my baby needs!

The groomers were super nice and very professional. Pepper (my dog) smelled so good and was so soft and silky after her bath! Not to mention her tail was wagging like crazy! :)

Perkins at Acadian location - Excellent service - the people are truly wonderful and they seem to have a real love of the animals, the store was very clean. For Grooming ask for Brandy. She is excellent with dogs and does great work.

Destiny took extra care with Harley’s hip and skin issues. I brought in a hairy, dirty beast with dandruff and mats galore, and 3 hours later picked up a cute, happy, well-groomed, stink free, waggy-tailed pup with a huge smile on his face! Thank you so much!

Never use Petco as a groomer or a vet....anywhere is better they hire inexperienced people that have no business handling animals..they will only shave your animal bald..Ugliest cut I've gotten from any business.
