I have had 2 bad experiences at this location. For both visits, the groomer was rude. For his first service, they frizzed his hair. He looked like he had been electrocuted. Oh, but this last visit will be my last one. She was irritated that I had arrived early. "You're 30 minutes early, and I won't be able to start him until his time." I told her that I was aware of my appointment time and that I was dropping my puppy off so that I could go to work. I told her that I wanted to upgrade his shampoo and not cut him too low. I selected his cut and left. When my son picked up my puppy, we did not recognize him. She cut off his eyelashes and cut him all of the way down because she said that he had matting on his legs. She never contacted me before proceeding to completely cutting his entire body. I also feel that my puppy did not get a good service because he was jumpy/skittish and scratching a lot for several days after his service. His behavior was so startling that I had to reach out to the veterinarian for a consultation. The vet said it could possibly be from the shampoo or clipper burn. Either way, I'm not going back there!

Petco grooming is definitely going down hill. One groom he was wet and hair still coming off. Today he sat in the crate all day. His appointment was for 12 pm and I did a drop by visit by 3:20 when no one answered. He wasn’t even touched! Then They rushed his grooming service and he is now bleeding fromHis paw!Employee brandon also lacked complete respect and concern for my dog’s well being. He doesn’t deserve to be there. Natalie was the groomer whom i thought I could trust with my dogUpdate: general store manager handled the situation well so I applaud her.

I was very nervous to take my goldendoodle here after reading the reviews, but Anna Cat did an amazing job with our baby’s first haircut. We were specific with what we wanted (teddy bear cut with 3/4 on body 1in on legs) and Anna Cat did exactly what we asked for. It took about 5 hours and we were charged a little more than expected, but he had puppy hair and took a little more attention due to it being his first cut. We will definitely be back!

Made an appointment for my dog who I’m 99% sure has a bacterial infection bc she has gunk coming out of her nose and crusting. After thorough research I’m actually very sure it’s Aspergillosis (I took her to her regular vet and they insisted it was hyperkerotosis, but that doesn’t just happen at 4 yrs old PLUS it’s coming from the inside of her nose. ) Her regular vet removed the gunk but didn’t test her for infection. It’s ALREADY starting to come back.. so I called and specifically said I needed her tested for infection. My boyfriend brought her with instructions to make sure she was tested for infection.The vet OFC talked their way out of it, it “looked fine” and wait a week… all while charging $70. All I wanted was the stupid test. Why couldn’t they just do it and charge me? Why make me wait, have the gunk build up more, just to do it in a week? To make me pay more? Bc they didn’t feel like?? Awful.

With every place there’s staff that make your experience between okay and great. We gave been coming here since my Acorn was 2 months old. Since then I’ve gotten another pupper and they both get excited when we stop by. The price may be a little high but they do price check. However, they only price check with their own website so if you want to do price checking with chewy or amazon, I recommend going to petsmart. I like their reward system since you get something back for all that money you spend on your animal friends.I like to go and check out their clearance sweaters and shirts because when it’s on sale, it’s a good sale. Found their plaid jacket for $4.80 each and they have a nice selection of team sport products! Photos are some of the wearable items they offer, from Halloween costumes to jackets!

Extremely upset with my dog’s $112 haircut… one, I only checked out online for a normal dog hair grooming with an added nail trimming that was supposed to be right at $70- they added on the extra total and did not disclose that they were doing so, and 2. For paying that much money and for our dog’s eye to be snipped with scissors and now have pus coming out of it is unacceptable and I advise you to take your business elsewhere. Adding a photo from before he left for the appointment and then after when he just got home. Do better Petco. This is not right AT ALL.

Nightmare at Petco on Perkins Road!! My Fur Baby was brought out to me still wet, scalped patchy, with strings of hair hanging from his ears, man parts, feet, and over his eyes. His butt area was irritated from the cut, leaving him scratching and rubbing it on something all day. Groomers, Destiny and Brittany (grooming manager) claim he was not compliant and they could not complete the service but still wanted to charge me. I still can’t understand why his experience was this aweful as he has been groomed successfully many times in the past. It is obvious they lack the knowledge, skills, compassion and patience needed to work with dogs. Highly disappointed and upset!!! If he was so bad, they should have never begun they scalping the left him with! BEWARE of VISCOUS DOG GROOMERS!!

I realize this is a small store but it would be nice if the Petco website actually reflected the products in stock. Not for the first time, the website said something was available so I drove over there to pick up a couple of things only to find them apparently not in stock. I checked with the only person who appeared to be working, the cashier, who didn't know where to look other than where I'd already searched.

My husband and I shop here very often and Oliver is always very helpful. They always great us with a smile and treat us with kindness and courtesy. We come to this petco because the customer service is so good. Everyone on the team deserves accolade for their hard work and dedication.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE !! Poor service and management. I took my puppy here to get groomed and gave them specific instructions. They did the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. I was not pleased the haircut and SIERRA is the one to blame. Save your time and money and if you do decided to come here, STAY FAR AWAY FROM SIERRA cause she will not satisfy you. Management told me I was rude and was not welcome back. Great thing about that is, I wasn’t planning on returning anyways. They add extra fees without your knowledge or consent and overall a horrible experience for me so I can only imagine what kind of experience my puppy had. Again do not get your fur baby groomed here and especially by sierra.

On 3/18/2022, we brought our Yorkie for a grooming. After six hours. Although she was washed and detangled, she was not trimmed. Her hair remained long.3 inches and more.Not the #3 or #4 on the grooming chart.No one answers the phone.Went in person to get it corrected, the young manager was rude and said they would call me back.Went back a second time, got an appointment.No correction.No discount.Must pay full amount for what I paid for the first time. And didn’t get.Same young manager left a voice message with no help.Bottom line- ripped off.Be cautious.

I have never been disappointed by a trip to the Acadian Petco. The employees are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and the store has a great variety of items. (Pro-tip: they price match their online prices. If you find an item in-store that is cheaper on their website, they will honor that price!)

Should’ve read reviews first ALL OF THEY’RE DEPARTMENTS ARE HORRIBLE ,where do I start off we took my doodle to get surgery on his ear everything was fine Dr.Greene was amazing! However when Dr.Greene and Ashe aren’t there PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE HORRIBLE SERVICE YOU WILL GET, AND YOU WILL IMMEDIATELY NOTICE THE LACK OF WORK. So happy my dog was healed fast and didn’t have to go back. With that being said , we needed our Regular grooming APPT like each month so we decided to give them a try after the horrible experience at they’re Vet. We get there and THE LADY DECIDED SHE WASNT GOING TO TAKE MY DOG APP RECORDS WHERE MY DOGS VET HAS THEYRE OWE APP TO WHERE WE PULL UP our dog records. If the young lady wanted to help She would call my dogs vet to verify his records if I’m not mistaking. IVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SOMETHING SO TERRIBLE LIKE THIS , I DO NOT BY ANY MEANS RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. EMPLOYEES ARE TERRIBLE AS WELL AS CUSTOMER SERVICE. AND NOT TO MENTION AS WELL I CALLED 3 WEEKS AGO ABOUT SIGNING MY DOG FOR TRAINING AND WAS TOLD I WOULD BE GETTING A CALL TO SEP UP APPOINTMENT, 3 WEEKS LATER AND STILL WAITING FOR A CALL. Not sure what the relevance of making an appointment for something is. I made an appointment for a bath, nail trim and teeth brushing…not even a hair cut. My dogs appointment was at 1pm. I was still in the area at 2:45pm, so I thought “I will stop by and get an ETA…can’t be that much longer”.I walk in and she tells me they are just getting started? Ummm his appointment was almost 2 hours ago! The little girl working said yeah well we also have to groom other dogs. Yes, I understand that, but if you aren’t able to start his bath in a timely manner, why did I make an appointment for 2 hours before hand?Dogs shouldn’t be keep locked in a cage, in a strange location for 2 hours. Grooming are already stressful for dogs. This just causes them extra stress and anxiety. My dog even has in his chart that he has anxiety. No human would want to wait somewhere for 2 hours before they are even attended to. If you cannot get to your scheduled appointments within an appropriate time frame, then do not book. To me this looks like they overbook and are poorly managed.

The associated assisted me in my order for pickup. I had ordered on line from the Siegen store by mistake for pickup and he didn't want me to have to go there. He called that store and deleted the payment there and rang up my order at his store. The payment hadn't gone through PayPal as yet and he explained everything thoroughly to me. Great employee. My training session so far at Petco has been going amazing! My dog learned a new command in just one hour of training and I’m really impressed with the level of expertise. Other places charge 3x to 4x more for the same services. Petco is an amazing value so far.

This location's grooming department has much work to be done. In terms of animal treatment, my dog came home both extremely stressed out and dehydrated. They claimed that my dog wouldn't come out of the kennel and to come get her... after 3 hours of her sitting in there with obviously nothing having been done and no communication with either of us. When asked about what had been done over those hours, the answer was simply, "we have other dogs." They do not care about the treatment of the animals and immediately offered other solutions other than their grooming services. If you plan on risking your beloved pet, I suggest you read the other 1 star reviews of the grooming department as well. Overall, poor service and would HIGHLY not recommend.

The staff at this Petco are top-notch. We brought our miniature poodle in to be groomed today, and they exceeded our expectations. Not only did he look the best he's ever looked, but the talented groomer -Jessica- and the very knowledgeable Tina- were great to talk with. They are clearly professionals that have a love for what they do. It shows in multiple ways. Our boy thoroughly enjoyed his grooming and looked and smelt excellent after!We've found his permanent grooming home. :)

The associate was very helpful and knowledgeable. They helped when I had questions about sizes for my dog and treated him very kindly. The store was clean. When the line got long, they quickly put another associate on a register. It seemed to be a very well run store.
