I’m a black female and went in with a hood on my head because my hair wasn’t done looking for acetone, and as normal an employee asked if I needed help finding anything. So, I told him acetone and he pointed me to where it was but I stopped by the skincare to look for a product. I looked up, and he was still standing next me and was so close as I walking to find what I was looking for. He followed me my whole visit, you would’ve thought he was shopping with me. He literally followed me all the way up to the check out area. There were multiple people in the store yet he only felt the need to follow me. I also work retail so I understand people steal and employees tend to profile but please do so from a distance.

On morning a few days ago I visited the pharmacy in this store to drop off a prescription to be filled. I usually get my prescriptions filled at the Walgreens across the street, but I've had a few issues there lately and my husband has been telling me how much better CVS is than Walgreens, so I decided to give them a shot. I was shocked when they told me--before even seeing what the prescription was for--that the prescription wouldn't be ready until the next afternoon, over 24 hours later. I asked why and they said they were too backed up. I went across the street to Walgreens and they filled it in under 5 minutes. The prescription was for an antibiotic, something I needed for the throat infection I had. I certainly won't be going back to that CVS for my prescriptions anytime soon. Walgreens may not be ideal, but at least they can get me my medications when I need them.

Failed to fill a prescription in a timely manner and could not have been more rude in the process. Rude on the phone and in person

“24 hours” should be changed to “when it’s convenient.” I don’t know what it is about Baton Rouge CVS’s but they either close early or just close altogether when they’re supposed to be open. In my many years in California I’ve been to CVS at all times of night and day and they never had one issue ever. Well fast forward to here and at 2:30 am there’s a nice sign on the door “In stock room back in 30 min” with a happy face on it. I guess if I was asleep I’d be happy too. Safe to say they had one person on duty since there was one car in the lot. 2 customers came and left while we waited a few minutes. We saw one of them over at Walgreens across the street. And get this: they have TWO people working the late shift at Walgreens, so if one goes on break they can still be open. Crazy right?!. Avoid this CVS if you can... or better yet just don’t have faith in their hours of operation.

Pharmacy staff told me they were no longer accepting drop-offs since their entire staff quit (after a 45 min. wait). Second only to dealing with this pharmacy and its staff, is having to wait for assistance at the self-checkout machines. Both self-checkouts are obnoxious and force shoppers to contact the staff (who are about as useful as the machines) to complete purchases.

There are no words that describe how unprofessional, rude, nasty, and trashy this pharmacy is. If they don't fill your prescription on time, which is every time, they simply do not care. No one behind the counter has any sense of urgency. Honestly, they way they act and speak to customers, I straight up don't even trust them to fill my prescriptions correct anymore. CVS should shut this pharmacy down, fire everyone, and start over. I told the PHARMACIST what I was picking up and I got a "what even is that" in return. I was speechless. I've been getting the same prescription there every 28 days for over a year. I have officially changed locations and I hope to never be back. They are all incompetent.

I understand sometimes prescriptions don't get filled in a timely manner. However, I'm not sure why they think they can tell me "we tried to call you" when you they didn't. "We can't find this doctor to verify so you have to wait until that happens."To be honest, I could let all of that slide, but when the tech won't do me the courtesy of looking at me while speaking or gets sassy and sarcastic when I politely ask questions, you've lost my business for good. I instead took my same prescription to the Walgreens across the street and they had it ready for me in 30 mins.

I had a really good experience when I visited this pharmacy. They were really busy, but the staff worked hard to get everyone’s prescriptions filled. I was cordially greeted upon my arrival (which is more than I can say for most places). The technicians were all very professional and polite. I spoke with the Pharmacist, Audrey about my medication. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable she was! It’s not too often that I get this level of service. We must not forget to be kind to one another and realize folks are doing the best they can.

I went in to buy something to drink and I was waiting in line to check out and an employee came up to me and asked if I was ready and he pointed to the self check out and I asked if I had to use it and he asked if I was using cash or card I told him a card and he said yes I had to use the self check out. That was not professional so they lost a customer. On 1/17/2023 I went to CVS and I wanted a cashier to check me out and the manager told me I had to use the self check out. I do not understand why an employee could not do that.

Absolutely terrible customer service, did not read the quantity listed on my prescription. Made 0 effort to right their wrongs and even lied to me that i would be able to pick up my medication at 0 cost from another location due to it being a mistake (turns out that’s not even possible) Manager is especially rude and couldn’t even get a sorry to come out of her mouth whilst lying. If you RELY on your prescriptions, this is not the pharmacy for you. Will be switching pharmacies as soon as they clear the mess they made.

Consistently poor customer service throughout the staff. Regardless of in-store or drive-thru means, everyone makes it clear they do not enjoy nor comprehend their job. Covid testing staff leave early (before concluding all available times) and the collection is not honored unless you have insurance they can process (nevermind the "have your SSN" backup). I've had my pharmacy changed to another across town because my rx has never been fulfilled on time. This is the worst pharmacy in town.

This is literally the worst pharmacy I have ever used. They are so slow. They never have the meds I need to get filled. I have waited hours in line just to be told to drive back around and wait again because they still don’t have my prescriptions filled. I would never ever recommend this place to anybody. I have been here over 10 times and literally had a problem each time.

Terrible service. Had a prescription called in, and 6 hours later went to pick it up, they said it wasn’t ready yet. So fast forward two days and they say my prescription is STILL not ready because they are “short-staffed” if you are in dire need of a prescription, do not have it called in here. Expect at least 72 hours to have a prescription filled.

One cash register makes you have to wait and be annoyed that you can't move through the system without waiting . Very not convenient.. may as well have a cashier

Pharmacy wasn't open by 8:00 one morning. The pharmacist are not helpful. I went to an urgent care and not realizing they called my breathing medication to wrong pharmacy when I left, they never offered to help me. They stand behind that desk with a look on their face, like I disturbing them. You're just a dime a dozen. I used to go to Winn Dixie and received that old fashioned service. I miss them!

I suffer from anxiety before every visit to this pharmacy. This week after three visits hey lost one prescription and filled out the other incorrectly. I now have to return to my doctor to sort this all out. Their advice? "Tell him you lost it." Better advice would be to avoid this shop altogether.

Scheduled an appointment to get my covid booster. Gave them all of my information saying I previously had my pfizer vaccines. The pharmacist who helped me was incredibly rude. He asked in such a demeaning way “are YOU immunocompromised???” And tried to argue with me what the CDC guidelines are for boosters. Then after arguing with me, said they only had moderna so he couldn’t help me anyway. This man was not up to date on the CDC guidelines for boosters at all and was rude. Why was I even allowed to make an appointment for a shot they did not have??

The absolute worse customer service I’ve ever had at a pharmacy. They got my prescription wrong for the second time in a row. Good luck trying to call them because you will be on hold for 30+ minutes.

pharmacy told me to come back in an hour for a prescription for my child. When I came back they said never mind come back in two more hours. When my wife went back they filled the prescription with the wrong product. When I called the tech refused to give me her name and lied to me saying there was a law that forced them to prescribe a substitution. She then proceeded to put me on hold for fifteen minutes and never picked back up. Terrible pharmacy. Rarely has product in stock and never has the prescription ready.

The lady didn't even want to use the main register and was making customers use the self checkout and was trying to tell me that I didn't have enough money to get my merchandise and I know what the correct amount was on the pinpad. They literally hire anyone to work there these days.

I have been using this pharmacy for years now and have had no more issues than miscommunications between my doctor and pharmacy, as to be expected from a big box chain.Sadly, this past weekend I was attepting to get a medication refilled and as I had no refills available I went into the pharmacy to get an emergency fill of the ssri so that I did not go into withdrawals. This has not been an issue in the past, so I expected little resistance with this issue. After filling one of my other medications with enough to get me through the weekend, A young African American pharmacist with a small gotee and glasses then informed me that my refill request was denied on my SSRI and that I will not be able to get enough to last me through the weekend. I would like to note that this is not a controlled substance and while I do understand this policy in general, as many could have these issues with narcotics, this is a simple antidepressant.I asked what he recommend that I do, and if he suggested that I withdraw from the medication (which is quite horrible). He then told me, "If your doctor didnt want you to withdraw from the medication he wouldn't have rejected your refill."I have been on this particular SSRI for about a year now and my doctor had not hinted at pulling me off. My next appointment was scheduled for three months later. I called my doctors office today, pretty irate from the interaction and they informed me that they recieved no refill request and had not issued any rejection.I will be lodging a formal complaint with CVS and would recommend that others go to the walgreens across the street for better customer service.

Shopping at CVS makes me feel like I’m in a dystopian YA novel nowadays. It might be the lack of human employees, it might be the purposefully confusingly priced generic meds. They put in new automated cash registers and decreased the amount of cashiers there are. This makes it less efficient to go through the line because the machines barely work so one employee has to do the manual register and troubleshoot the other two. The machines are very loud, unintuitive, make you place stuff in the bagging area before you scan the next thing, can’t read all the coupons, and needs manual authorization for some coupons. The human can’t input the coupon code into the machine; if your coupon doesn’t work you have to restart at the human cashier. It also prints your mile-long receipt really slowly.Cvs always asks me to fill out surveys when I go. When I inevitably complain, they ask me to call them about it. I wonder; why even ask me to type out what I think if in order to understand it you need to call me and have me repeat it? If you really care, just implement my suggestions and quit trying to placate me by sending automated messages that say “we’re so sorry about your experience”This is also the second time I’ve seen identical medications of the same brand priced differently in CVS. Cvs has generic omeprazole, 42 count, in four different places on the shelf. Two are priced the same and are identical in every way except they have different words on the front of the package saying what it works for. One says “for heartburn lasting over two days,” one doesn’t. Why are they even separate? Why send me hunting for any indication of why they’re different to make sure I’m purchasing the right thing? There are two other 42 counts, also identical in packaging, except these come in three bottles inside one package (waste of plastic much? Packaging in packaging?) , they are like 30 cents cheaper than the ones with LESS packaging, and one version is buy one get one half off and the other isn’t. Same thing, different discount. Same things, different packaging. Can you please just make ONE singular row of 42 count omeprazole with ONE price in ONE package please? So I don’t sit in the aisle for 7 minutes reading the backs of packages? Don’t contact me saying you’re sorry until it’s fixed, please.

This is the worst CVS I’ve ever been to. I only fill my prescriptions here because my insurance requires it, but the second I can go anywhere else I will. I absolutely hate giving money to this Pharmacy that can’t ever answer the phone while also taking days to fill my prescriptions. Not happy at all

WORST pharmacy I have EVER used. Was told that their truck didn't come in on weekends so they didn't have any medicine. And then took over 4 attempts to get the prescription refilled. Finally had to use another pharmacy. And FORGET trying to call them on the phone. They don't answer their phones.

After being told to come back when my prescription wasn’t ready, I had to wait in the drive-thru line for almost 30 minutes for any word on it. The pharmacy is understaffed, and there is no reason for it to be as slow as it is.

Go here if you only require friendly people to talk to. Go somewhere else if your time is too valuable to be disregarded. The last 3 times I used this place, I dropped off my prescription and was given an approximate time it would be ready. Each time, I returned over an hour after the time I was given. It's never ready.

Just had a terrible experience at the pharmacy. Coming from ER in Zachary, trying to get RX for Percocet filled for my 74 year old mother with metastatic breast cancer (got IV meds at ER, the rx is a back up for tonight). They were the 3rd pharmacy I tried, others were out. They had it in stock but pharmacist refused to fill it till in the morning because "we are closing in 15 minutes". I am stunned. Sitting with mom now in drive thru of FOURTH pharmacy waiting to see if they have it in stock.

Customer service sucks here!! There are two pharmacists who work there that have great customer service, but that's not enough for me to stay with them and I've been with them for years!!! Their techs and cashiers have the worst customer service. They need a revamp.

Had a prescription called and/or faxed in FIVE times in one day and they denied ever even receiving it, until I showed up in person to cause a fuss and they tell me in the snarkiest tone possible it will take 30-45 mins to fill one script in a completely empty store while other pharmacists simply milled around.THIS IS AFTER they underfilled my previous script by 5, making me aware of the fact and the quantity they scrawled over the original in BROWN SHARPIE, then claimed it was simply a signature from someone who never touched my medication.Clearly competency comes here to die.I've stayed with this business since 2000 and regret every year.
