I bought a $5000 mower 4 yrs ago and it has been broken as much as it's been running. But that's not why I give them 1 star. The 1 star is because every time I took it in for repair, it came home with different problems that were directly related to poor quality of craftsmanship in the service department. The deck literally fell off of it on the first mow after one repair. Take my advice, shop somewhere else and definitely go somewhere else for repairs.

Called about service a mower that was under warranty but due to not purchasing from them, they stated they were not taking any new customers. I was told this after she told me they were two weeks out on repairs but couldn’t look at mine until August! When I questioned why would it take till August if you are on two weeks out on work. She said they have to service the people that buy from them first. I understand to service people that buy to to be rude about it and then come back and tell me basically we don’t want your business.

I spent a lot of money buying equipment and I have never been treated so rudely in all my life. At one point they told me to leave and go shop somewhere else because I told them I could not wear a mask- Dr.’s orders! I will never shop there again. No wonder the place was empty. Also, I got a quote over the phone for a saw and when I checked out it was $10.00 more than what I was quoted. I just paid it and left. Never again...!

I needed a new weedeater and was tired of buying one at the big store so I went in to Central Outdoor Power and bought one that starts the first time I pull the string. I've been to Central Outdoor before to get spark plugs and belts and these folks know their business. I would recommend if you are looking for outdoor equipment go to Central Outdoor Power first. By the way the beautiful dog is so friendly.

These guys are great. I have had my chainsaw worked on out there, and they fixed it for no charge. I just purchased a zero turn Husqvarna and they were polite, and didn't pressure me into anything. I would recommend anyone needing top notch power equipment to go see these guys.

Have had my 1 year old huskavarna in their shop for over 3 months this year, they still haven't fixed the problem, they bought it back to me last sat, and now it won't even cut grass now, spring hanging off the back of deck. They gave me the number to huskavarna to call them directly. I ask them to come get it and fix it,,( still under warranty) they told me it would be 2 weeks before they could come get it or fix it. I'm so over dealing with them on this issue, they won't give me the number for the owner. Signed THROUGHLY UPSET 😡

Put wrong part on (discharge chute) and had to bring back. When i got it home for 2nd time found various screws missing and had to replace myself(i was not loading back up for a third trip)Also, belt keeps coming off. NEVER had this problem before this “fix” at Central power. Also when I brought it in, I was very specific about what was to be done. Lady told me that anything above $250 would HAVE to have my approval before any work was done. When i went to pick it up, $450 bill!?!?! Will find another Gravley shop for any work needed in the future. Use to be very dependable, but not so much anymore.

I typically don’t make post such as this but felt I had to this time. Central Outdoor Power Sales on Joor is an absolute joke. They kept my mower for five weeks for repairs. They called this morning and said it was ready. I pick it up, bring it home and cut grass for about 30 minutes. Killed it to go to the restroom and now it won’t start. I highly recommend you shop any place other than there.

Central Outdoor Power Sales destroyed my chainsaw chains when they were sharpened here. The business would not replace the destroyed chains. I went to Central Outdoor Power Sales to get three twenty inch chainsaw chains sharpened. I paid for the repair service and waited for the chains. When they were returned the chains were badly damaged to the point of being unusable. The chains cutters were blued by heat damaged and were deformed and misshaped almost all of the way back to the other edge. I informed a clerk there about this and he went a got another man (either an owner or a manager), they looked at the chains and said that the bluing and the deformed cutter links were normal. I informed him that the metal was blued and that its temper was lost and that the steel is now soft. I also showed him the grossly disfigured cutter links and told him that this is never considered normal by any means. He told me that a machine does the cutting and it does not make mistakes, he went on to told me that he have been using diamond cutters for over twenty years and that this is normal. He then told me that he will not argue with me at all and put the money for the sharpening back onto my card. I did not once raise my voice nor did I cause a scene and I was appalled to be treated in such a manner. He said that I should put them on anyway and use them as the burs and defects will go away. Of course it will go away; the cutters are now so soft that parts of it flake away with finger pressure. How is this supposed to cut into wood and not dull out almost instantly? I am shocked that he offered me this advice and put his profit margin over my well-being. Chains are supposed to be sharpened 3-5 times normally and these were used once and never sharpened. I have never had chains sharpened by a professional to be returned blued and disfigured. I have pictures available and I will not be putting these chains on my chainsaw as the possibility of personal injury greatly increases with damaged chains. The store would not fix their mistake and he wanted me out of the store as fast as possible. This business would not work with me on finding an acceptable and safe solution to this problem.

Very freindly people and very helpful. One of the first people I met in the store was the mechanic and he showed me the lawnmower. It was very unique experience to have the mechanic show you the lawnmower instead of the saleman. The next time I visited the store I talked to a salesman and he showed me a less priced lawnmower making sure I knew what the differences were. What a comfort to have people show you all the options instead of just trying to making a sale. I would highly recommend this store.

I needed a good place to get my chain saw fixed so i was trying to find somewhere close and founf this place and i called and told them what my problem was and they guaranteed to fix my chain saw because thats what they specialize in so i brought my saw to them and they charged me $35 for a deposit. They called me and said it was fixed and they said the total was $85 so when i got it home i didn't use it for 3 or 4 weeks. When i decided to use it it did not run. I called them and they said bring it back. They called and said it was fixed and charged me another $45 to bring it home. When i went to pick it up he tried to crank it but it still wouldn't run. When i complained about it he got upset and said he'll refund me $45 and he did not want to deal with it but never offered me my $85 that i first paid now I'm out of $85 and a saw. I don't recommend this place to anybody.

I hardly ever do this . Workers are very disrespectful. I couldn’t get my mower started. Stopped and tried to ask the mechanic in the drive how to un lock my transmission to get my mower on The Trailor to bring it. He asked if I had a owner’s Manuel I stated no. He said we give everybody owners manuals . I started I did buy it from I just get it worked on here. His words was go back were you bought it from. Go ask them. I stated y’all worked my mow several times. He I don’t care got back to them. I said don’t worry about it . Walked away. I then heard him say don’t bring it here I’m not gone work on it.very bad I think.

Brought my riding lower mower in. For $75 dollars they told me it had multiple internal transmission issues and would be $859 to repair. I took it home, replaced a $58 dollar part external to the transmission and cleaned up the linkage. Works like new.

Been waiting on an part for my Husqvarna tractor been waiting over a monTh wen I was told five days yes it’s stressful not having my mower to work but I would feel better if I wasn’t lied to and till today I still haven’t received a call are an eta for my part in the meantime I’m losing accounts timing matters for some of us smh

I was told a 30 minute belt repair would take 1.5 weeks and cost $35. 6 weeks later without any follow up on their end and my follow up weekly landed me a bill for $80 including a new belt. When they helped me load the lawnmower up they gave me the old one. Still intact and in good condition.

I bought a brand new mower from an out of town dealer and needed warranty work performed. I was told over the phone that they don't work on equipment that wasn't bought from them. The dealer I bought it through called them and was told them same thing. I contacted Husqvarna and was told that by contract they are required to do service on any equipment regardless of where it was purchased. I was also told that the Husqvarna Corporate office will be calling Central Outdoor Power Sales about this.

There is a dog, Bella, that has full access to the sales floor. Bella will attack other dogs. I've seen it. I would not bring any small dogs or children here. NOT SAFE!
