Customer service at check out received was amazing, but the item selection is not as great as it once was. Also, I ended up having to return the item sent to my son in to return it & instead of her taking the item back, he decided to question him on why he got the item & so forth. Continued to ask him questions about who fixed the items from the dell for him... you shouldn't question kids because if it was an adult, you wouldn't have been so rude.

Friendly staff and all food I buy there I'm pleased with; however, take caution with the lomein noodles in the deli section. You can do better.

I love Albertsons in general but not this one on College. The women in the Deli have very nasty attitudes. I called to place an order and she was impatient and very rude. She put me on hold thinking she muted the phone and proceeded to talk as if I was bothering her. I’ll never shop here again. People like this is a bad representation of a great business.

NICE! Friendly Cashier.I had a short visit for shopping at Albertsons on College Dr.I was looking for the "Bounce WrinkleGuard Unscented", Dryer Sheets.It use 2Be on the shelves with the other Bounce products.Albertsons was my Go2 store for this item.Really! It works...I can not buy it there any more.Hopefully, Albertsons will restart ordering the above product.It's a Great Product; however, Albertsons did not have the item.I prefer shopping and supporting our Local businesses, before using on-line shopping.I can "see, touch and buy" without All the Return Hassles with on-line shopping.Albertsons Management,Please "Reorder Much More" of the above item.It Will Sale.Thank you,A Customer 👍

Great selection, but just can’t waste time here anymore. Even at peak times, they will only have one cashier and a checkout line 10-15 shoppers long. Today after the cashier spent 7 minutes on one customer (who had so few items they didn’t even have a cart), I gave up, abandoned my purchases, and went elsewhere. Half of those poor people are probably still in line at the time of this writing.

Produce is great, frozen foods like shrimp crab legs fish in the back of the store is great also. But please stay clear of all the bathrooms. They are horrible. Most of the cashiers and people in front of the store should be retrained in customer service.

Good grocery store, but one I typically try not to go to due to frequently having few registers and longer lines. They also don't have the self checkout leaves like the government location. It's also worth watching for sales, as they frequently have specials.I've been shopping at this store for a very long time (10+ years). The store is very open and clean inside. When I've needed certain cuts off meat, the employees in the meat department have been very helpful, even going in back to freshly pack exactly what I wanted. I've never purchased seafood out of the cabinet, but it always looks good.I'm not sure about lately, but there was a period of time you had to be very cautious of expiration dates on items at this location. Just make sure you check the dates and when I found issues, the employees didn't have an issue helping.

Top tier management personnel are not welcoming toward members of the homeless community.Most other employees are cordial and polite,!The parking lot has several uneven sections that should be taken care of to ensure customers are safe.

Positive Vibes here: This place is really well clean and organized. Meat and produce always fresh. Workers do not mind helping you. Never had an issue here. Prices are on the higher end but I suggest everyone to download the app for better deals.

The best experience I have had with a cashier. Sherri was friendly and went out of her way to accommodate my needs. I didn’t notice any self check out at this location. It is a gem for customer service.

We don't have this store where I live. It reminded me of a bigger version of our old A & P or Winn Dixie. Not a place I would go on a normal basis. But I needed a particular battery and they were walkable. I should have just waited until I got home. It was way over priced vs Lowe's and Home Depot.

I've never been to a grocery store where the cashiers will only bag your items if you're using their plastic bags before, but then I went to this Albertson's. What a bizarre policy! It only encourages people to use more plastic bags and contribute to pollution. It's incredibly tone deaf considering the state of our environment.

I do not have Albertsons in my state anymore but I did make it a point to get by here in Louisiana and there deli, meat and seafood departments are still the best of all the big chain grocery stores.

This store recently updated its layout and at first I hated it, but now I feel it flows better than before. Mainly, though, I come in for the produce to snack on while at work. It's always fresh and never moldy. They really keep on top of that, here! Oh, and all the staff are polite and very helpful.

I went to this location and the front end manager cashier had a very nasty attitude. I was trying to purchase the buy one get one free dr pepper, which I purchased the other day as advertised. Make a long story short, she told me no she was not going check or try to find out since is what not ringing up. I asked another worker and she told me they were still on sale. I ended up getting back in a long line again with only two cashiers, which one was the Manager Mel. As me standing in line the worker comes up and a new sale started, but that ends on 01/17/2023. But these are not for dr peppers, but cokes and they are being advertised on the same pallet. I also went to purchase the ribeye steak for $5.99 original $7.99 a pound, but did not see any, the meat department is selling beef rib steak instead and saying it is ribeyes and the original price for them is $ 9.99 per pound and with the labels. Today was just a bad experience overall, and I will not be shopping at this location. This location is owned, by some Baton Rouge investors. Barely get business, and losing the business that they have, management needs to step up. I spend too much cash money at Albertsons to be treated like that, almost $100 every other day. Let the workers shop.

I love shopping at Albertson's! Their fruits and vegetables are always clean and fresh. I always buy these salads they sell and they be so fresh and good. They care about their produce. I aways get my produce from them. They have more organic items as well as more healthy items. Their store hardly be packed which I like due to COVID and Monkey Pox. Their cashiers are always nice. My place to be. ❤️👍

They have some really great deals when the cashiers remember to apply them. There is always two or three things incorrect and overcharged on the receipt and if you are there within an hour of closing, forget about asking them to fix it. Most of the employees at the front are very rude unfortunately, even if you try to be kind to them. Tell them thanks or have a good day and they say nothing back. Ask for your stickers and they act like it is a giant inconvenience. On the other hand, the workers at the meat section in the back are very kind and helpful and will even go to the back and make sure they get you the freshest meat even when it isn't asked of them. When it is countdown to closing, they legit tell you at nine thirty, again at nine thirty two, and again at nine thirty seven. If it wasn't being done frustrated and aggressively, I would have found it hilarious and think they were clowning around. I wish I could state this was an uncommon occurrence but this, I have experienced well over ten times in the past couple months. I don't intend to stop shopping there because I really enjoy some of the deals and there are some things I cannot find elsewhere, but I am uncertain I will continue to make attempts to be cordial to people who are being jerks to me or my wife and talk badly about one of us while the other is at the register to hear it being said.

Albertsons usually has a nice friendly environment. Not this Albertsons I went to barkey to get a cake. Walked up no one addressed me. They standing there talking to each other. Then had the nerve to walk pass me like I wasnt standing there. Then when I looked at the work clothes made me not even want a cake. There uniform was so dirty they didn't have on gloves and they were rolling dough. I will never go to this barkey again

The cashier guy who checked me out had his underwear covered rear end hanging out of his britches. I think that is very unprofessional. Not a very friendly bunch of people there either. Next time will go to Walmart next door at least they will probably be cheaper.

Passing through due to Hurricane IDA, but staff was so nice. Bathrooms too small. Some nasty person was talking on the phone in the other one of two stalls. I believe it was a staff person.

Walked to the check out line, before we could get there, woman by the name of Tonya who works here says “if you are using EBT it’s going to be a while”. I feel as if the comment was racially motivated, I was not using EBT. She assumed we were using EBT because of my skin color.

WOW! It's been a long time since I visited any Albertson's and my visit yesterday was a real shocker. I was soooo impressed when I walked in, I stood at the front of the store for a minute to take it all in. VERY clean store and items perfectly arranged. The floral dept. was impressive and the quality of flowers perfect. Quality of produce excellent. Loved my visit. The only reason for 4 stars is it's pricier than what I like to pay, but the old saying "You get what you pay for" is true. Pure quality! The checkout clerk on May 13, 2019, around 9-ish p.m. was very nice. Will return.

Lil bit more expensive than Walmart but well worth it. Every employee seems to actually care about your shopping experience. At the place across the street, the workers hide from you and when you find one, if you can get them off their phones, they claim "not my department" or I don't know". Albertsons almost always has quick moving lines and a several registers open. I believe the place across the street has 26 checkouts not counting self checkouts and 1 or 2 in operation at any given time. Albertsons doesn't have self checkout, but across the street almost always, something scans wrong and the employees in charge will walk right past you like they didn't see the big red light flashing.Albertsons has the best shopping experience in Baton Rouge when it comes to your "big grocery shopping trip".
