Every evening Walmart has only one lane open. This is all the time. I’m sorry I can’t spend my money and work for them as well. SAD SAD and SAD. If they had some competition in Baker I’m sure they would get it together.

It was a very pleasant experience with this location. The manager Anthony had exceptional customer service and was able to help me and my husband do an exchange on a speaker we purchased 5 days ago and it went out. It was almost at closing and without a doubt he went above and beyond to make sure we were able to exchange it worry free. I appreciate his kindness and it’s hard to find this kind of service these days and I appreciate him.

I live over an hour away in Avoyelles Parish. An when I say I Love this Store, I mean I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FREAKING STORE!! Wish had more time when I went to look around Store longer! Shelves are all stocked! Soo many items didn't even know Walmart carried bc hadn't seen them before at other walmarts. If want to go to a walmart that's gonna have exactly what your wanting and then some, This is The Wal-Mart to go to!! ** Do have to say their doing parking lot work at the moment so is a bit noisy from machinery**

Yesterday April 3rd 2024 I went to Baker Walmart on plank and groom Rd I found the services to be horrible you would think the employees to be plant workers anything but in the field of customer service or helping the community they were only involved in each other conservation could care less about how you viewed them and over made up in appearance the merchandise I had purchased was damaged I was returning for exchange I had to go get the item all the way in the back of the store from sporting goods the associate back there then said I couldn't examine it back there I had to take it all the way to the service desk the item was a large 10 x 10 canopy tent so if that one was damaged I would have had to lug it back this item was extremely heavy I am so feed up with Baker unprofessional workers I live in the neighborhood but I refuse to shop there ever again Baker Walmart you earned a negetive 5 star ⭐

The store update has really made the store better, however as soon as the corporate people were gone the shelves went back to looking like a mess in certain areas.They are constantly out of stock of items in the grocery area.And I know they are told to, but I feel like I'm being stalked when I'm trying to leave. If I don't stop for you to check my receipt are you going to tackle me? Geez.

The auto moblie department is very slow, only two cars in front of me. I waited 30 minutes to get to get an oil change, and the same cars were still there. I decided to go to Zachary Walmart, where the service was much faster.

It's like your regular Walmart. Nothing too shabby. It's just that the store needs to up their game in cleanliness, organization, keeping their stocks full, and putting stuff back after someone leaves it somewhere it's not supposed to. Other than those easy things to fix, it's a pretty okay store 👌🏽

During the day to day dated April 1,2024 at 8:20 am I went to the the money center to send a Walmart to Walmart the cashier treated me very badly my day and my spoke some English and Spanish , my daughter wanted to translate and she didn’t allow it , she asked me for my Id and when I went to look for it in my wallet she told me to jump off the counter that I have to serve other costumers I was very disappointed with this I won’t even return to this Walmart

Looks like it needs some refurbishment with the store. Deteriorated and old looking in and iut. Things are broken and damaged in several aisles. Not stock with groceries, as I couldn't find certain items that are regularly stocked. There is no one to check you out at a register. I don't work here, so I don't get paid to check myself out. If no one is available to check me out, I'll just go to Target or Kroger. At least they have registers with cashiers open to check me out with my purchase and no one will stop to look at my receipts, (like if I'm stealing something), to check my bags and groceries. In the last few years, it has gone down bad. No service, or a care in the world, to help a customer. If you can find someone.

It seems impossible to purchase anything in the "locked" glass cabinets. I pressed the button repeatedly over about 10 minutes, and the recording said an associate would be with me shortly; of course no one showed up. Staff members nearby said they did not have a key, and did not offer to locate someone who did (at least I got them to look up from their phones). Finally an employee told me the button does not work and that I need to try to find someone at the pharmacy to open it. Service is poor-to-fair at most Walmarts in the region, but Baker is on the poorer side. Comments about products often being out of stock are true as well.

I am with most every visit to Walmart , just amazed at the lack of quality service I receive. It’s as though I have a sign on my back that states “ Be rude. She can take it!” With the exception of a few associates, I can almost guarantee that I will get a “ I don’t know where that is. I don’t work in that department.” As an answer to my request for direction to a particular item. But in their defense maybe I (unknowingly )shop at a time when all the friendly helpful associates are on break!) Or maybe the helpful friendly associates are divided between the Money Center, Customer Service and on the floor 🤷🏽‍♀️And this is in addition to …….if you don’t go shopping early in the morning don’t go, because it’s almost guaranteed that whatever it is you’re looking for won’t be on the shelves; and please don’t ask an associate if there’s any in the stock room because their answer will most assuredly be” everything we have is out on the shelves” whether they are or not!Oh! And please don’t call the store because no one will answer the phone, and if they do……..they don’t work in the department you seeking help from!Now in all fairness I have to say that the majority of my negative experiences have been at one location (Baker Supercenter). I have a totally different experience when I shop at the Zachary store.Maybe the Sun shines brighter in Zachary than it does in Baker producing more positive and helpful attitudes I don’t know. But my experience has been more positive there. They will actually check in the stock room for you!!!Or will show you where the item is that you’re looking for!!I don’t know about you, but if I’m gonna pay crazy prices for items that were reasonably priced just a few years back, at least I want my shopping experience to be a pleasant one! But on the upside, the store in Baker looks fantastic!

This store is always fully stocked and well kept. It's much better than Walmarts in neighboring towns, worth the extra few minute drive .

Not so great..had to use the bathroom...and they send staff..and janitorial...in...there....And I went straight in.and to the bathroom... no chance of them thinking I stole something...didn't stop to look...Was in a hurry...hince..took a few min ..upset stomach from food we ate ..But let's treat people like there special I guess...they were there to make sure I wiped....and when I came out....I could hear the walkies...they in a huddle... whispering.... probably thought I'd shy around ..but I went right through them...and thing is..they set me up... numerous times...once cause I had a Windows phone..my aunt just gave me....they called it in.....hey dummie...Y'all don't sell windows phones...turn it on..stupid .look at my contacts and all my stuff..Nope...charged ...Nobody at register...so I'm hollering...and they all by the buggies..talking loud..laughing..not working..I just trying to buy something to drink...so guy walks out in the walk way...Says come here talk ..no..hell no..I'm not going to do nothing..he says . nope..Well he never comes to the register..anyway some how I get charged for stealing that drink...because they weren't working..but doing everything but...Bull...man..How they can just ..oh they said ...well both times I did nothing wrong...still charged ..so ..yea.People are on power trips..Like they think it's a joke..That messed up ALOT of my life...because they could....not because they were right.How's that for some words!Truth

I was greeted when I first walked in. Everything was neatly zoned. Several rollback items. I was only suppose to purchase a dress for church ended up getting baby clothes for my God baby all summer stuff on sale fall and winter item stocking stuffers you name it. And it's not even October😁

What can you really say about Walmart no matter where city or state you're in the level of service that you get from a Walmart is always the same it is never up to par but they're everywhere so it's easy just to go to a Walmart then to search for a Target

Nothing to say but this store have a sad management team I bought a bike for my daughter birthday got it home and it was not assembled right the handle bars came off and both tires were flat I paid 98 dollars for the bike went back to exchange it they had no more in stock so I found one for 109 so I asked can I get the bike at the same price I paid for the defected bike all managers was like NO AND U HAVE TO PAY THAT DIFFERENCE!! ADDITUDE AT THIS STORE IS REAL BAD AND THEY QUICK TO CALL BAKER POLICE ON U TOO!!!

Went with 2 granddaughters. 1 is 2yrs old, the other is 11. Found everything we needed and more. Bought ice cream, fruit and other items. We had a ball together. I don't get to see them that often. We were happy to spend time together.

Worst Walmart in East Baton Rouge Parish. Many of the young people who work there are rude. They won’t help you if you need assistance! The front end manager, who I have met was very nice, but her workers are some of the WORST!!!!! The store manager needs to address the front end’s lack of wanting work. They stand huddles and talk, while the elderly need assistance and help. I don’t recommend this store to anyone less a dog.

Y'all on today, Mat 14, 2023 I'm leaving the Walmart in Baker, Louisiana, and I'm here to inform y'all to shop at this location at your own risk. Ghetto to the fullest, clean but employees nonchalant in assisting customers, cashier's looking mad because you didn't go to self check out, eye rolling because you came to her register. Never again will I come to this location. But, you decide for yourselves. Be safe out there. Much love.
