Lead Mechanic is absolutely uncompassionate. I realize people are busy and you may not have time to work on a vehicle- but I’m new here and working in town for 8 months- suggest another place. It was a simple quick fix- I’d paid cash plus large cash bonus- which I did RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD. If you want customer service and you are not a local- just pass this place up and on the same side of the road- just a few tenths of a mile- there is an eager, happy and willing place that was fast and efficient. I will never go to this place for gas, tires or service- because service means a lot to me. I noticed a lot of negative reviews yet apparently nothing changed- SAD

The guy that runs this shop, Turk, is a rip off artist.I brought my vehicle to them to have some work done. To have this particular job done, the belts had to be removed. I supplied the needed parts, plus some new belts. They were going to charge me an extra $90 to put a new belt on the front of the motor, but no charge for putting the old belt on. As I say, the old belt had to be removed for the job I was paying for to be done, so why was it an extra charge to put a new belt on when putting the car back together for the specific job I was already paying for.Not only that, but they wanted to charge me for removing the AC compressor and recharging the system to perform the job I had requested, even though the factory service manual for my vehicle doesn't require the compressor to be removed for that specific job.Things like this are a red flag for an unscrupulous shop. They will pad the bill with unnecessary charges.

This is what they did to my vehicle not to mention my brakes don’t work (that was original issue) & law enforcement MADE ME PAY THOUSANDS IN FULL TO THIS CROOKED SHOP. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND FIND A LEGITIMATE MECHANIC AND NOT IN THIS TOWN!! The Police Department will somehow get involved as the owner, James Jurreau stated “He is friends with them!” This is what we pay them for. What a disgrace. Allowing them to continue to scam people, it will keep happening. Hoping all of you with these awful reviews move forward and don’t accept being ripped off. Also, they are getting reviews deleted somehow. Not everyone sits back and takes it. Sometimes you cross the WRONG ONE….Smh #LouisianaCorruption

Over priced and don't know much about cars. I was charged way to much only for my car to have the same issue it had when I brought it there. Their service and professionalism is trash. They are racist.

I totally appreciate the consistency of service. I'm here on an extended visit with my Mother. I've had multiple occasions over 2 1/2 years to bring in my Mothers' Ford Fusion for maintenance as well as inspection stickers. Although they are always quite busy, they manage to provide timely, professional service; recently with humor from the gentlemen at the counter. Much appreciated. Tks.

Fill up your gas tank and your physical tank as well. Great snacks like Bernards Pecan candy, and Tea cakes. Get your oil changed, a tune up or brakes repaired. I got my inspection sticker here.

I needed my rear brake rotors and pads replaced so I dropped my jeep off one morning before work, and they had it ready for me to pickup after work. Turk went above and beyond by dealing with unforseen issues and getting my price down as much as he could. Very happy with these guys. They were all down to earth, efficient, and professional.

Baker Texaco is my “go-to” place for tire service and vehicle inspections. The staff is very friendly, answers any questions I have, and never pressures me to have work done. I also appreciate the air-conditioned waiting area in the store and a wide variety of drinks/snacks available for purchase. The only added benefit that would be icing on the cake would be Wi-Fi for customers. But overall I think this is a great place to have car service done.

This place charged me $1,000 and fixed nothing on my car, they only put a tire, a battery, and spark plugs. They gave me my car smoking and quitting a half a mile from the shop. They are genuinely get overs, I would advise no one to take their vehicle to this shop. Horrible customer service!

I went for a front end job and the mechanic that worked on my truck, broke my dashboard and my a/c knobs. Now they're not holding themselves accountable for this. I will not take my vehicle back to this place, ever in life. All I really wanted was the guy to apologize for doing that, and he lied and said it was like this already. You lost my business and my family's business as well.

Brought my truck to them after work for an engine and transmission oil change. It was around 410 PM. Said they close at 6PM. Was told they would not take me and I would need to come back at 7am the next day. I would have atleast like to get the engine done which should only take 20 min tops. Wasted my time and I will be taking my business into zachary for now on.

My daughter has had her car fixed here. They always do an excellent job.Also a friend of mine had a truck fixed. They didn't have money so they worked out a payment plan for them.They are ALWAYS nice and helpful.

My bumper is a little loose ,and I asked the guy on the phone about possibly fixing it. He wasn't pleasant and very short with me. He also hung up on me. I will not ever bring my car back to this place. Rude and horrible Customer Service.

Employees are super rude, certain people were not told to wear a mask but when someone else walked it, they were yelled at and told he needed to wear one. Employees didn't have one covering their nose of mouth covered by the mask.
