I'm at the store at least once a week. Never have I gone and not either got what I needed at a better price than other big box stores, received great advice from any of the staff members, or pick up baby chickens of all different varieties. Great, helpful staff, each of whom brings their own knowledge and experience to help their customers and the feed quality is top notch. Highly recommend.

We drive 90 miles to purchase feed from Petrus. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable about what ever questions you have. The prices are better than famous name prices and the feed is much better quality.

I go here mainly for chicken feed. In comparison to places like Tractor supply, their feed is cheaper, you get more feed, it's fresher, and just much better quality. I recently went in with soil samples for a garden I am doing this year. I didn't catch his name, but one of the employees went above and beyond and walked me through my results and exactly what fertilizer I need for what I am trying to do. The mill employees could have a better attitude and be easier to deal with but everyone in the store so far has been fantastic! I love this store!

I've started making Petrus my only choice, simply because some of the staff are rude. The ones inside. I didn't get the man name but each time I've been there it seems he's having a bad day!!!. I also don't like if you are waiting to be helped, they just overlook you. Because of this I drive out of the way an go where the staff are friendlier. Owners should make sure employees are being kind an considerate. I'm hoping it isn't the owners who are being inconsiderate. It's nothing better then a returning customer and one who compliments an tells others.

This is my GO TO feed store. Best prices around if I remember correctly it's 3 generations strong,the same family has owned and ran it all those years so you have GENERATION'S of wisdom at your disposal for your livestock feed needs! Best prices,best staff,best service they can't be beat. Their garden plant selection has highs and lows as they not too often get bought up bc their pricing is lowest around with,the quality being very exceptional. I just can't say enough,positive about this business. They also have chicks longer than any other supplier in the area and I believe they may have baby rabbits too in the spring, not positive on that.

This store is terrible for my bank account and my husband's sanity , but I love it!I usually make a visit every time they get a shipment of chicks (all doing great , haven't lost a single one ) I also go here exclusively for goat hay and pig feed for my spoiled potbelly & goats.I will eventually start buying chicken feed from here as well when my babies get old enough for layer feed , I just preferred medicated for them to start on.All in all a great local family owned business , always a smiling face willing to lend a hand or tell a great story. I really enjoy shopping with them!

We absolutely LOVE this store! You can't beat the economical prices anywhere else. They have several varieties of feeds for livestock,carry an exceptional line of pet foods that we have found to be lower than other stores in the area. And the STAFF Omgosh...they are awesome from the youngest to oldest all so polite and they get you answered to your feed questions ,none of this ummm I don't know. If you want QUALITY SERVICE,great pricing and a pretty much one stop for your farm needs. Petrus feed and seed is your store on a scale of 1 to 10, they are 15 ! I'm serious y'all!

My favorite place to go for my animal needs everything is well organized and staff is friendly. I've gotten healthy chicks and happy with the food/grain I buy. I have no complaints.

If I could I would put 0 stars.I know no one will care about my review,because they have the same views as this establishment.Me and my husband went to this store to grab hay and when we got there we were treated unfairly because of the color of our skin.We walk in the establishment and even when we spoke no one spoke back.Mind you this is a all white facility.There was an employee that came to help us but his sense of urgency was to get us out the store because we look different.His demeanor,attitude was unwelcoming and he seemed annoyed.I will not be going back spending my money with this place.This establishment is simply racist so if your skin is the same color as mine don't visit just order online

This is the best feed store that I've been to! The employees are very helpful and the prices are great. Quail chicks and rabbits in stock! Also, our hens love the scratch grains.

Absolutely love coming here to pick up horse feed. We use there house brand of horse feed and it's great and a great price too. Love coming when they have their baby chicks

I just love this place, if you have any animals, try these guys. They make their own animal feed on location and are very knowledgeable about diet and nutrition. They also have a nice variety of fowl, rabbits and other animals.
