My husband and I have been sharing a car for almost 4 years bc our life was at a point where only car was needed. It wasn’t until recently that things have changed and a second vehicle was necessary, but financing a brand new car was not in the budget just yet. Despite being from Albany myself, my husband who is not from there wanted to get there first. We went thinking we knew what we wanted but the sales guy (David) was very upfront and honest with mileage, ware and tear on the vehicles and even told us when a vehicle was having engine trouble. My husband is very apprehensive about used cars especially with a previous incident we had, but David made us feel taken care of. David immediately understood what type of vehicle we were looking for and pointed us to a silver Toyota Highlander. My husband fell in love immediately and I just got home from driving it and I’m in love, too! The lady behind the desk (please don’t hate me for not remembering your name) was also very patient & kind. She knows her job well, she is efficient, and she is personable (which I love!). She was attentive and accommodating to anything we needed. I could rave all day long about the experience we had. There’s a reason that business has been there for forever! They deserve all the praise they can get! Thank all of you so so so much!

We bought a 2012 GMC Acadia and it. had a few problems a few months after getting it and Scott fixed the issues and was very polite and willing to help!! Then its been over a year and the transmission went out and Scott paid a big part of the cost for that!! We. will be buying more vehicles from Scott and his staff,they are all very helpful and kind!! Do not buy any vehicle from this place if you plan on driving it. The “no credit check” deal they offer is having you pay half the listed price down, but due to inflated prices, this is actually the whole value of the car. Every single vehicle has “check engine” and often other warning lights on, and the staff’s catchphrase is “you’ll never find a perfect used vehicle”.They don’t even vacuum cars before putting them for sale, found a McDonald cup inside one and a full ashtray in another.Inside the office is decorated with rude jokes about how “as is” means “as is”, which ought to set off some red flags.You might have bad credit, but with the kind of downpayment they ask here, you could qualify at a traditional dealership. Went to Berryland and gave the same downpayment for a beautiful car with warranty and car fax report, and because of my downpayment and the low mileage on my selected vehicle I qualified. The interest rate is high, but it’s still cheaper than the inflated prices at this place.

They do not have good customer service skills. Communication is even worse. You can communicate with them and they will still act like it never happened. And then work out a deal and charge you 250 dollars more than what you agreed on. I would not suggest doing business with this place.

BUYER BEWARE. If you work hard for your money and are looking for a dependable vehicle DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS! I was recommended to just add gas because I was told the owner was a good guy. I expressed to him my entire lively hood revolved around a good running vehicle he ensured me that this lemon they sold me was a good truck. 30 min after buying it the truck broke down. I had it towed back to just add gas. I was told it was the ignition and that they replaced it. They did not replace it but they did leave drill marks all over my ignition and after getting the truck back my radio dash lights and brake lights stopped working. I've had to put OVER 600 DOLLARS into this truck WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH just to keep it running. I've asked and even texted the owner literally begging to get out of this truck even if I take a loss I needed a dependable ride. I was told "you bought it as is" I've steered everyone I can away from these crooks. The mechanic who fixed my truck even told me he bought a vehicle from them that didn't last a week before it needed work steer clear of Just add gas once this lemon is paid for I'll never step foot on their lot again.

They compound $50 late fees for every biweekly payment on limited incomes just to stick it to us when they sell junk cars. I'm almost finished paying mine off, but will never revisit. Go to Payday Cars in Hammond for good people. Only wish he had what we needed in the short time span we needed it after I was in a detrimental crash. Do NOT RECOMMEND.

WOULDN'T BUY A CAR, from this Clown. He sells nothing but junk. My Daughter bought one from them in November. She didn't even make it a mile away, and it overheated. So she returned to the lot. See the picture to see how they fixed it. So it kept overheating and she had her mechanic look at it. They simply cut the thermostat. She paid to put in a new one. And it continued to overheat. So she went back again and was told that it needed a radiator, and that they would fix it. They didn't. Now it has a blown head gasket and is Non operational. I was in the used car business for 28 years. We never did business like that. And they want to know when she is going to pay. ABSOLUTELY WOULDN'T EVEN BUY THE TIME OF DAY, from this guy.

This place is a rip off and I wouldn't refer my enemy! The owner is a fast talker, who guarantees with receipts he will reimburse. After the sell that guarantee means nothing! We purchased a 2002 Trailblazer broke down 32 days later. I called s/w him and he didn't want to hear nothing about truck being down, his words were that's for me to handle, payment is still due on its date and if we could not pay he needs to pick truck up until we can pay. Repo cost will be $200. Buyers beware!!

I will never do business here again. TERRIBLE customer service. I came in to make a payment and the girl behind the desk thought it would be funny to make fun of my hair saying “what’s that on his head? A hair piece?” to other customers and continued to be rude in front of several other people in the office. She said she would “call my grandma” even though the next payment she was referring wasn’t due for another 2 weeks. Also the guy saying he’d “call repo” definitely did not do anything to help. They ridiculed me until the moment I walked out of the door. These 2 need to be fired. I have never been treated so poorly at a business. Save your money and do business ANYWHERE else.

The owner is pretty nice, I didnt talk to him much but he looks nice, The manager, Scott, is a good car dealer, hes straight to the point and shows you the best car there for you tastes. He doesnt ramble on about other cars unless you ask him to, he will put a discount on the vehicle if you ask him to. The employees there are super nice, they have coffee that you can make, they are super lenient and trust worthy (mostly). There are downsides though. When you buy a car, prepare yourself for things to not work or be broken, like the radio, or a seat adjuster, etc. That's about it.

Bought a used car from just as gas, had a problem with the AC, l call and got results quickly AC running good now. Passager side window wouldn't go up it was fixed the same time as AC was being fixed. Thanks just as gas.

Service was great. But by the time I got home from the dealership, the car's check engine light came on.. 😡😡😡 I'm paying over $7,000 dollars for this car, and I think it should not have the check engine light on.
