Had a very good shopping. That was very helpful and knowledgeable and got me just what I needed. Staff even gave me a few tips that worked out fine and made my job at home a little easier. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Don’t ever bring anything back to them! They tell you it has to go on your card won’t give you cash back. Tell you it will be Monday or Tuesday 2-3 days after you return it. It’s now Wednesday and we are still waiting. They tell you it’s processing but your bank doesn’t even see anything processing. If we really wasn’t in a bind and really didn’t need the money I wouldn’t even be saying anything. Buts it’s the fact that we got kids and have had to sell everything we got to just survive! They can’t even tell you anything every time we call about this! Not friendly service and definitely doesn’t help your customers!

This place has most everything👍 but at the lumber yard is a huge mess starting in the shipping office and the workers on the yard👎😖 I never get any help to load up my truck you place a ticket them you need to find out who printed🤦‍♂️ that's why I prefer POOL LUMBER & ADVANCED BUILDING.

Was in the area for a week helping with cleanup after Ida with a volunteer organization. They were my go to for Stihl saw parts. All the employees were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend them.

These folks are great. Helped me choose the right Stihl chainsaw for my needs. The customer service from Randy and the rest has been very reassuring for having them service my saw for years to come. Probably about the best service I've had ANYWHERE! Walk in/walk out time was six minutes! You need the best weed eater, get STIHL and get it from THESE GUYS. Jim was fantastic and very knowledgeable. 💪

After I posted the below review and complained, Abita Lumber Company completely rectified the situation past the point of satisfaction. Thank you for making a negative situation a positive one! Your professionalism and customer service are very much appreciated and respected.I brought a mower, pressure washer and two weed eaters to get repaired and they never called me. When I finally called after a couple of months they said it wasn’t ready. When I called back after a few more months they said they had to order parts for the lawnmower and pressure washer and said they had called me for approval. I never received a call and being tired of dealing with them, I said I was just going to come get my stuff. When I got there a week later, the lawnmower and pressure washer were in pieces. When I asked why, they told me if you don’t get any work done it costs them money to put things back together so they leave it disassembled. Now I have a dismantled lawnmower and pressure washer that still doesn’t work after 6 months.

Sales people could not be nicer I had a minor disagreement with a rude yard person that has a bad attitude and was not happy with how management handled the matter, made me feel like the aggressor, I frequently shop there for lumber and tools. Thousands of dollars a year, But from this day forward I will never return. I am not willing To be disrespect as a customer. I love the fact every post here has been commented on by the owner but this one

Don't expect to get a call back no matter what they tell you. You better stay after them, but that's what customer service seems to have become these days.

I purchased a chainsaw, blower, and weedeater at Walmart. On my way home i stopped at abita lumber co. for a sharpener and batteries and mr. Jim was so nice and friendly and helpful and honest with me, that i went straight back to Walmart, returned the things I bought, and purchased them from abita lumber. I am so pleased with the equipment, the fact that they will repair them right at the store, the customer service, prices, and the quality of the equipment is great. I will be going back!!! AWESOME PLACE, AWESOME PEOPLE, AWESOME MERCHANDISE

Another 'Lumber yard' that has a terrible website. I don't need to search between 'white' or 'primed' when trying to find dimensional lumber. how about options like 2x4, 2x6, 4x4, 4x6, 6x6, etc. Like 84 lumber, you are failing with your website. Moving on to the next one...maybe there isn't a lumber yard in the area that actually wants to sell quality lumber...
