Jason and Jay do a fantastic job grooming! My dogs love them! I have a Blue Heeler that can be hard to handle and she hates her feet touched. They treat her like a baby and she is so comfortable that she doesn’t make a fuss at all!! ( she won’t even let her Dad and I trim her nails without nipping or trying to eat the clippers) Our little yorkiepoo is 9 months old they have been grooming her since she was 9weeks old always a fantastic job! It’s hard to leave you pet with anyone else but I know the staff at The dog house will treat my fur kids just like their own! They are true animal lovers and enjoy their job! How many other groomers do a free photo shoot with your pet after a groom just for fun?! I wouldn’t take my girls anyplace els!!

Best groomers in town! Super friendly, insanely affordable, and just a joy to be around. Every time I take my Teddy there for his appts they are always so friendly and you can just see how much they love animals! Plus their work is amazing and I always leave a happy customer with a happy puppy! It so hard to find someone who loves your pet as much as you do, and this is definitely the place to go for that!

These guys are great!!! They love their job and it really shows. I took my dogs in for nail clippings yesterday and they did an awesome job! One of my dogs is not so friendly with strangers but they were able to keep her calm and clip her nails. I was shocked with how good they were with her! I will definitely be going back and upgrading to a full spa treatment!

So, when you have a super high maintenance furbaby you need to find him a good groomer. I have taken my Opie to several groomers but none like Jason and Jay. They always cut him perfectly and he is always happy after his spa day. He even gets smell goods and a photo shoot!! Recently I adopted a golden fur .. um, Man? LOL ... He is approximately 14 years old. Well, he had his first spa day with the guys (he was very nervous) and Jay just made him feel like he was right at home. As a matter of fact they both told me if I ever wanted to rehome either of my babies (which I don't, they are my kids) they would gladly take them. That to me sealed the deal and as far as I am concerned there will never be another groomer for my fur-children. You can tell they love their job and their clients! I highly recommend you try them out, they are worth the drive and money, hands down, the very best!!!

These guys are the greatest! They treat each and every pet as if they were their own. They dress them according to holiday/seasons and take pics after they’re groomed. Such a nice extra. Prices are reasonable. You won’t regret letting them groom your pet. We have a 60 lb doodle. So glad we found these guys!!!

I took my long hair German Shepherd in for a much needed grooming. He's a big boy and doesn't like being brushed, so I always have a time with him. I picked him up and he looked fantastic!!! They were able to brush all of his fur (I'm sure they got 3 dogs worth of hair out of him), and he was so soft and smelled so good when I picked him up!! They even took his picture. By far the best grooming experience I've had with my boy. We will be back, and I highly recommend them to everyone!

These are the most compassionate groomers around. They are very fun-loving upbeat groomers. They love your pet as much as you do. Always polite, respectful & very skilled at what they do. I brought my mother in laws poodle in, to get groomed; she had some spots where she had been biting and pulling fur out due to allergies. They groomed her up, cut her fur down to blend the spots in, so you couldn't see them and rubbed some oil on her, to help soothe her skin. She was finished up with a cute bandana and bows! I will definitely be taking my dog to these guys they are great!

After our regular groomer moved away it was a struggle to find just the right place to take Chanel. We tried a couple different places and eventually did not return to either of them. The we found “The Dawg House” and it is truly amazing! The moment Chanel went through the doors she was treated like a baby and she loved it so much she didn’t even notice when we left her. When we picked her up she had so much energy, was extremely happy, and was beautiful with her purple feather and bandana around her neck. I highly recommend “The Dawg House” for all your grooming needs!!

Effie, my standard poodle, just returned from her groom with Jason at the Dawg House. We both had an excellent experience. The customer service is great and the grooming skills far better than any she and I have experienced in Lexington. It is the reason we made the trek to Worthington. The cost is reasonable as well.

I am very picky with whom I leave my dogs with. I do not worry about them at all at the Dawg House! Jason and Jay are the best by far!! You can tell that they actually love each dog or cat that comes in! They treat them as their own and that is very comforting. I will ALWAYS take my fur babies there!
