Came to Lowe’s with my 5y/o today and had the best experience with the garden center employees. My son was showing interest in the garden hose as Brian and Willa were watering. They both gave him a turn to water the plants. It was super sweet, especially because my son doesn’t love going into Lowe’s.A week ago, I was buying large outdoor rugs. The selection at Wal-Mart was much cheaper but I couldn’t get an employee there to help me. I came to Lowe’s and David from the garden center happily helped me since I have a condition where I can’t lift heavy things right now.Courtney in paint helped us choose a different stain before we made a mistake picking the wrong formula. She was so knowledgeable.The employees make this store.

Went to a different retailer to get some things for my yard and they were not available so I went to the ever dependable Lowe's. Thankfully they had everything I wanted today and were very helpful in getting it loaded into my car as well. Best experience I've had at this store in a long time. Wish I could remember the name of the young man that help me load up but unfortunately I can't.

Hands down the worst customer service ever. Specifically Bianca in customer service… I ordered a rototiller to be picked up at the store. I had asked for assembly but was later told the assembler works only two days… no problem I said I’ll assemble it myself. Nope, Bianca says I can’t. I paid for it two weeks ago… it finally made it to the store yet I can’t pick it up because the assembler hasn’t come to work for three days. She literally wouldn’t sell it to be even though I was saying no problem I’ll assemble it myself. So i canceled the order. Reordered it and they’re delivering it to my house tomorrow. About the most stupid conversation I’ve ever had with a completely uncooperative employee.

On a recent trip to this store my husband and I experienced outstanding customer service, knowledge, efficiency, and friendliness by associates: Drew, Colin and Betty. We had to drive an hour to get there but the trip was absolutely worth it. Truly the best customer service I have ever received in a home improvement store. We had limited time and more than 20 different items we were trying to purchase and Colin and Drew stayed with us the entire time and helped us find everything and pull it off the shelf. Betty helped us save money by applying for a Lowe’s credit card. Colin and Drew did an excellent job picking out our lumber and loading it on the trailer. And to top it all off they were all very friendly, fun and pleasant to interact with.

Purchased a washer and dryer from the Lexington location that was delivered from the Winchester location. When purchasing, the store associated added all of the additional cords and hoses needed for installation and they selected the wrong cords so the appliances could not be properly installed. They installed the dryer trapped in a corner where the dryer door cannot open and did not tell me this was an issue until they fully installed the washer, trapping the dryer in the corner. Both appliances will need to be fully moved from the space to solve this. When I called the store I spoke with a manager who said they would make it right and made no effort to get in contact with us again. Multiple calls got me the same answer of wait a few days and we will fix this. Reaching out to the logistics company they hire gave me just as little solution. I'm at the point where I am paying out of pocket for a handyman to fix this. I did an installation through Home Depot for a different appliance and it was a completely different and better experience. I have always chosen lowes for my hardware shop but not anymore.

They stopped the Veteran discount on big ticket items like lumber. So they say they have a Veteran discount but its mostly a lie unless your looking to buy plants or cleaning supplies. I still go there because i have to.

Had 4 days for them to put our grill together. When picking it up today, it was filthy! It was covered in concrete dust. It definitely had been sitting out back. When you’re told it’s ready, you expect your new grill is there. Nope. We had to scrub and clean it! Just aggravated!!!

Had to give 1 to post.Went to the store to purchase a washer and dryer and knew what we wanted from looking online.Here was our customer service experience.Waited next to the appliance dept desk for someone. Not long but long enough that I decided to push the button for service.A young lady who was close by, stated she had just clocked out and “they” were in the back but should be here soon.After the announcement stopped, I actually, while sitting at the desk, called the store and selected appliance department and asked to speak to an associate. Ring no answer. Called back and asked customer service to transfer me to appliances. Ring no answer but there was a page over the intercom.I walked up front and customer service paged again. No response.Asked another associate if the customer service mgr was in the office and was told “she only manages the front and doesn’t have any responsibility away from that”.Was this at quitting time? No, it was approx. 4:30p as my call to the store from the appliance desk was at 4:57pI just wanted to purchase a washer and dryer. I may end up having to purchase from Lowes but that will be because no other chain sales the ones we wanted.

Store was well stocked and clean. Had great customer service. Best store around these parts. Need better delivery drives. They got stuck in my front yard. Because they tride to back up my driveway, instead of pulling up my driveway. This was about 2 years ago.

Drove over an hour to this Lowe’s to pick up some supplies. One of them being a nail gun. Get it home only to learn that it was missing all of the paperwork and apparently had been a return that was taped up and put back up on the shelf for resale. We paid full price for it and it doesn’t work. So now we’re going to have to drive an hour AGAIN to return it. Your employees need to do better.

Most employees don't know anything about the products, pathetic plant selection, mandatory self-checkout. The only good thing about the store is the lumber yard. This is the kind of experience you can expect... 7/29/23 I go to buy a full pallet of black mulch (75 bags) I asked the employees to get the fork extenders so the load would clear my trailer ramp, after finally describing what for extenders were and what they are used for I was told they were broke, really... broke???? It's a set of metal sleeves. When I said forget it, I would go up front and get my money back they decided to go to the Lumber yard and get the "broken extenders" On 7/31/23 I go back and get 70 bags of black premium mulch and had the privilege of getting to educate 2 more employees on what fork extender are and why we needed them, they kept telling me they wasn't allowed to take them outside. The thought I was asking for the little stand-up fork truck with scissor extensions they use inside. After telling them the guy that used them just a few days ago got them from the lumber yard they finally went and came back with them. I had already unloaded half of the bags onto the front of the trailer so he could set the reduced pallet on the back. He proceeded to set the weight of the pallet on the tail of the trailer and drop the forks as far down as possible. Anyone that has even a little forklift experience knows better than that, the forks and the full weight of the pallet were pushing the trailer down so much I thought he was going to break the axle. I tried telling them and got the "shut up and let us do our job" look, and after a few minutes of watching truly untrained employees at work who were dumbfounded and out of options I had to explain how to raise the load off the trailer and tip the pallet forward allowing the pallet weight to hold it as they back out. (Yes, I've drove a forklift before, and I was properly trained). I have to check myself out and now it seems I would do better if they hand me the keys to the forklift so I can load myself too. If the customers are going to have to do everything including training your staff, we should at least get an employee discount.

I shop a lot at Lowes a lot and have had ok experiences at this store. However I recently had them do a pool fence install. I would pick someone else to do that if I were you. It has not been the best experience and I have had to call a lot about problems. The original sales person who comes to see you talks a great line, but the installers are contracted and don't seem to care about the quality of their work. Then once they have your money Lowes is done with you and the sales person doesn't call you back if you have problems unless you make calls directly to the project manager. I am picking up caps to put on 2 posts today to install myself. I still don't have an answer about extra holes drilled into the gate posts by the installers that look horrible. For a job that was priced over $5,000.00 it seems it should look better when finished.

Yesterday I bought 20 of the 80 pound bags of concrete. First off for the size of area I was laying concrete in the Lowes employee told me it would take 20 bags. The job ended up only needing just under 8. When I tried to get help loading these bags I couldn't get the employees outside to help until I was down to four bags then finally one of the employees that was standing around in a conversation with three others decided to come over to see if I needed assistance because my wife yelled for him and asked him a question he answered and tried to get away swiftly my wife had to call him three times and ask him specifically to help load the truck when he finally did he was extremely unhappy about it it was very visible that he did not want to do his job and there was only four to load anyway he loaded three and four I ended up loading 17 bags of 80 lb concrete after having surgery on both of my hands three weeks ago I'm not supposed to be lifting anything over 5 lb for at least 3 months this hurt my hands pretty bad so I want to give thanks to Lowe's employees in Winchester Kentucky for not knowing what they're doing

Love the Winchester Lowe’s! Unlike my local store, this location is always in stock and has cashiers available. I don’t like the 40 minute drive, but it’s worth it to know that an item I’m looking for is always going to be on the shelf, and I’m not going to deal with an attitude on the way out the door.

This is the only big hardware store in town. They have 99 percent of what I need. I wish they had some compilation like a Home Depot. Tractor supply and Wallmart don’t work.

Dont deliver when they are suppose to nor do they call and explain why they aren't delivering our product. We have called 3 times with a promise that we will get a call back and 2 hours later no call. Will not deal with this Lowe's again. Worst Lowes around in my opinion.

We was paying for our purchase and they wanted us to pay card only and the cashier was angry because we only had cash to pay for it had to go to service desk to pay. Very inconvenient and very rude cashier (her name was Lauren by the way). Since when is paying in cash a bother. Oh I know since our young people don't know how to add or have respect or common sense.

My husband waited at the appliance counter for over 20 minutes with no one to be seen. He finally took a picture of the freezer we wanted and went to customer service to purchase it at 6:18pm.(I know from my credit card transaction alerts.) he was told to go to bay 5 and someone would bring it. My husband called me at 6:38 to tell me he hadn’t seen anyone. I waited a bit longer to give them time and finally called at 7:39! An entire hour later and asked to speak with the manager. After another 15 minutes waited the manager came in the phone to “apologize for the delay” in a condescending irritated tone. I asked him if an hour and half was a reasonable amount of time to pick up a deep freeze and he said no. I let him no his tone wasn’t appropriate and disconnected the call. I will be calling customer service corporate in the morning because he finally got the freezer at 7:53pm!!!!!! This is unacceptable, I’ve always had a wonderful experience here but today they acted like Wal-Mart!

This really hot guy came by and helped me great service but I couldn't find the part I needed for this thing I'm making in my man cave. I ended up having to buy something that could work just as good. one can truly know how good of a business some place is based on how good the worker look and this man presented him self very nicely.

This is my go to store for all my renovation needs. I can order on line if they don't have what I need and can always count on a friendly staff to help me. I have a lot of rental property and fi nd myself advantage of their great clearance area, too.

An absolute horrible display of customer service. An older gentleman from the appliance department was walking by. I stopped to request we purchase a dryer. He responded with "I'm busy". I finally got an associate to help me. During the process of buying it, they told me to pull to the front of the building and they would be out to load it. Never showed up. They couldn't even find the dryer to bring it out. I found it by the return section and wheeled it out and loaded it myself. They was a terrible display of customer service, organization and communication. For a simple transaction this turned into an hour long event.
