My mother rescued a pregnant mother dog from a horrible situation in Eastern Kentucky. The man who had abandoned the mother dog reportedly would kill any pups she had in prior litters. Possibly by drowning since the Kentucky River is across the road. The mother dog had 9 pups while in her care. This occurred the week before Christmas. At the same time my father, who is 80, fell tearing ligaments in his left ankle and having a subdural hematoma. I am actually a nurse.I cared for the pups until they were 6 weeks old, deworming and all of the care needs. Then all became overwhelming with my sick father who lived 2 hours away.So, this rescue agreed to help with fostering. Before giving to a Dawn, the foster mom in Winchester, I asked one of the pups be adopted to one of my friends. She filled out the application and the coordinator decided to deny my friend adopting a pup.The coordinator did not contact her at all. This was a request of me personally since I saved these pups from a horrible condition.I cannot believe my friend was denied. A lovely, caring lady who is a wonderful fur mamma. Now, Heather, Dawn, the coordinator of the rescue and the Facebook page, which is apparently answered by the coordinator are ignoring me totally.As a matter of fact, the pup in question was put up for adoption to the general public, in which the coordinator had no clue where the pup would be living, etc. at Rural King. Any one could walk up to the adoption table, and give basic info, and presto! Off they went with the pup I had asked they save for my friend! I actually was there Saturday and witnessed this first hand!I am infuriated with this rescue group! I can only hope the pups have gone to good homes.I pray every day they have.I just wish someone would respond to anything I have texted.Either Heather, who runs the spa, or Dawn, who helped with fostering. No idea who the insensitive coordinator is.So, if you decide to give up your pups to this group, keep all of the pups for your friends and yourself.I wish I had made a better decision. But I was in a desperate situation with my very critically sick father.So, now there are at least two of my litter with this rescue group. I guess if I wanted one if my pups back, they will not even talk to me. I have rescued numerous animals from Scott County Humane Society, Woodford, snd Fayette.Never having issues encountered like this.So the question is…do they really care where my pups went? Or just want rid of them?Obviously my friend that wanted one desperately was snubbed by the coordinator.What infuriated me is that they are really MY pups!!!How insensitive!!!I’ve learned many things about rescue organizations! I hope all are not this insensitive.My friend had a dry, warm, area for her animals. Staying in a farm. Her animals are both inside and outside.NO ONE CARES about the opinion of the rescuer, in this situation, my mom and I.Just can’t believe the insensitivity!These are the Heinz 57 litter posted on Facebook.They are posted as probable incorrect breeds as well. Guess just breeds listed with the pups so they will get adopted quickly? Not sure!But overall it was not a good experience at all.I appreciate what they did the last two to three weeks, but it is horrible how I have personally been treated! Especially with all of the stress my family has been enduring!

Absolutely lovely place. We are on our way home with our foster to adopt Dudley and couldn't be happier. Fairytails was amazing about communicating with us, really made meeting Dudley such a memorable experience, there's no way we could leave without him, we look forward to our journey together with Dudley!

The team here are absolutely amazing. We adopted a rescue about 3 years ago and are just in love. They go above and beyond to help furbabies in need, working endless night and days. They make sure that every adopter is a right fit for the animal in need of a loving home. They make sure that all animals are healthy before leading their facility. I have seen them give some of the best hospice care for animals in their last days. I highly recommend them if you are in search of a new baby.

I was approved to adopt and met the dog on Monday at 4:30. I left at 5PM and asked the owner if I could think about it and call her back later that night. She said fine I don't want to rush you. I messaged back three hours later and was told they had set up another appointment for and I couldn't have her because I left and they don't hold dogs for people to make up their mind. I ask when the appointment was and they said Wednesday. So the owner lied and said I could think about it and then said they don't hold dogs, but they can hold the dog for two days for a potential adopter who had not even seen the dog. If you like the dog and you want to deal with them know they you have no time they will adopt out from under you.

Heather is absolutely amazing! Her passion for rescuing abandoned and mistreated animals is clearly evident. It is beautiful to see these rescued animals being rehomed to loving families. This is my adopted baby, Ragnar!

Very fancy looking however, the staff at the counter were somewhat standoffish, not terribly friendly.They did a slipshod groom on Rocky. As his Hair has grown in I've noticed more and more how uneven his coat is.I figure if the staff is gruff and unfriendly it's an indication of how my dog will be treated.Looking for a new groomer.

Nice group of people to deal with. I have a fussy dog when it comes to grooming but he did really well. I will be returning. The only thing I was not aware of was they only take cash and check.Update: I'm not sure if I'll return. Even with written instructions the cut was not done correctly. Cut all hair off legs of a mini schnauzer.Update.I was going to go for "3rd time is the charm" but after getting a response that they were taking my dog out of their system I guess that won't be happening. It's also kind of funny when I asked how my dog behaved they told me they didn't have a problem. Now the post that he is a difficult dog to groom.
