I have gotten 2 beautiful Doodles from Tom & Gage at Prize Poodles & Doodles. They are wonderful pups and Gage and Tom really match the pups with the perfect family. I recommend them highly. We are in love with our boys Teddy almost 2 years old and our new addition Maximus 5 months. Extremely smart and loving. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this family at Prize Poodles and Doodles. We got our standard bernedoodle, who we creatively named Bernie, in December 2019. I’ve had multiple dogs growing up and I can honestly say Bernie is the funniest and sweetest dog I’ve ever had. In addition he is beautiful and I get compliments on his appearance almost every time I walk him. My wife had never owned a dog before and she was somewhat ambivalent when we got him but now she LOVES HIM. We have 3 kids and he is great with them. He is about 90 lbs so he is a big boy. Prize Poodles and Doodles are great - could not be happier with Bernie.

Tom and Gage with Prize P&D are amazing to work with! My husband and I were looking for the perfect dog to fit our family and they were so helpful with guiding us on which type of doodle to get. Living in Texas we chose to have her flown down to us, which Gage did personally. Any time we take our dog out people stop and compliment on how relaxed and easy going she is for only being 7 months old. We recommend anyone looking for a doodle to go to Prize Poodles and Doodles!

Where do we begin??? Where do I begin?? An amazing experience with a wonderful family!!We are a part of the Prize Poodles & Doodles family and are very PROUD to be!!!! Our boy MARVEL is an F1b Newfypoo who came home to us on December 21,2020, the night of the Christmas star. Gage delivered him right into our living room and we surprised our two children. Marvel has made our hearts and our family complete in every way! More than we could have ever imagined!!Tom and Gage from the moment I made my first call (& believe me there were many calls made to them) always made the time to talk with me at length about any questions I had.... there was an instant connection. Professional, kind, thorough, patient... no questions were every disregarded, brushed over, or avoided...if anything they always paid attention to every little detail with care and concern. I have called and texted many times since we’ve had him and they have always answered or gotten back to me at their nearest convenience despite how busy they may be. Marvel has the most amazing temperament and personality. Every day is an adventure! He is loving, silly, super super smart, eager and willing to train and learn, a little stubborn, full of energy, he has the biggest heart and we just love our big doofy Newfy so much!!! He is adored and welcomed wherever we go and we take him out daily....stores, walks, school, playgrounds, kids sports games. He loves being around children and is so gentle! He is naturally calm and easy going around small children and elderly. We get stopped regularly for people to say hello and meet him and ask a million questions about him! We hope to have him entered early and accepted into a therapy training program. We are beyond grateful and thankful to Prize for breeding and raising such amazing dogs. I speak very highly of Tom and Gage and ALWAYS will!!!! We have referred a few families their way. We have family that are currently awaiting Prize puppies and we hope to one day in the future add another puppy into our home. One is not enough!! We waited many years and I did tons of research before deciding on a breed and breeder... and the wait was well worth it. FIVE stars aren’t enough!!

Tom and Gage were awesome to work with. Living close by we were able to go and see the pups and make our pick. Lexi an English Goldendoodle has been with us a week now and has really adapted well. Can't describe how amazing the whole process was. Tom, the owner, patiently answered all of our questions. A few days later his son Gage and his fiance hand delivered the puppy (Newfypoo). I took a pics of them in my bike. Great people. The puppy is in perfect heath. You know when the pups are treated well when all they want to do is cudle with you and your family. I would give 10 STARS if I could.Thank you guys!

Gage and Tom have been amazing throughout this entire process. We researched many breeders for newfiedoodles and it was instantly apparent that Prize Poodles and Doodles were different. I did my homework for several months on the Internet looking for the right Breeder . All of my searching kept bringing me back to Prize Poodles And Doodles hands-down. This is a family run breeder. They are very knowledgeable and conscientious in what they are doing. They ARE NOT just producing any kind of doodle because they are the popular dog these days , And then telling you it is hypoallergenic . I have known many people to spend good money on a doodle,Only to find out they shed big tumbleweeds all over the house. Prize Poodles And Doodles are very knowledgeable about genetics, and make sure that they are mating the right dogs to produce the kind of puppy they are looking for. Tom and his son Gage are very easy to talk to. They will answer any questions you have, and they will work with you to pick the right kind of dog that suits your needs. They also are very accessible whenever you want to talk. They are very quick to respond to emails , phone calls, and private messages. They are not pushy or trying to sell you at all. They just want you to get the dog you want . And you can take as long as you need to decide .When I was doing my searching for a breeder, a few of the breeders were not open to you coming to see the dogs. They would give me some excuse why I could not see the kennels. Not the case with Prize Poodles And Doodles!! They told me I can drop in anytime ,just give them about an hours notice so they would be sure to be home and not running errands . we purchased our female newfypoo Lulu in June 2019. She was nine weeks old. She is now 10 months old, and we love her so much and are so glad we made the decision to go to Prize Poodles And Doodles. Lulu is so sweet and very eager to please. She loves her humans, and she loves our cat and the cat loves her !! I have not seen any shedding or dander ! When I go to clean her crate there literally is no loose fur in the crate. We have had no health issues, and the vet said she is a beautiful dog. When we go out in public ,we can barely walk a couple of feet without people stopping us to ask what kind of dog is she? And they just want to love on her ! We have noticed she is also a very adaptable dog. She’s not skittish or afraid of new situations or sounds, she adjusts very quickly. I am so glad we decided to go with Prize Poodles And Doodles!

My experience with Prize Poodles and Doodles was fantastic. They answered all of our questions, always within a few minutes, and were very knowledgeable. It is obvious that they know this business and care deeply, not just about the process, but about all involved. I have 3 kids and they bugged me daily to ask for photos or to ask questions and Prize Poodles and Doodles never seemed bothered with my "nagging." We have had our puppy for one week and I have had a few questions which they answered immediately... and they still are prompt and care about their puppy and their new owner. We highly reccomend getting a puppy from Prize Poodles and Doodles. This is a family run business and we were lucky enough to see first hand how every member of their family takes this business serious and is a class act! They explained how one of them is always awake with the puppies or on duty. They are dedicated, knowledgeable and patient with new owners! This breeder is the best. They worked with us on the particular dog we wanted--temperament, size, gender--and were very knowledgeable and helpful. We could not be happier with our dog, who is a mix between Newfoundland and poodle. It also really helped that they kept him for several weeks for additional training, and actually drove him from Kentucky to Pennsylvania, where we live. We strongly recommend them.

Prize Poodles and Doodles is the best place to get a dog, hands down! I purchased a Bernedoodle there a few months back and it's the best dog I've ever owned. The family that owns the business are very friendly and professional. Their attitudes and knowledge about the dogs made me choose them over a few other breeders I knew. It was such a hard decision to choose which dog I wanted as they all were beautiful, clean and healthy. I highly recommend Prize Poodles and Doodles to anyone looking for a dog.

Update:After three years, Tom with Prize Poodles and Doodles sent me a refund for the purchase price of my Bernedoodle. While the surgery to fix Jojo's shattered hip was twice the purchase price of the dog, in the end Tom did make an attempt to resolve the issue and, although it took him three years to do so, he did ultimately try to do the right thing. Jojo is doing great now, and has for the most part regained the use of her leg. She has a great temperament, and is the most affectionate dog I've ever had. Just wanted to give an update since I was reimbursed last week.Original Review:I purchased a puppy from Prize Poodles and Doodles/Studio 25 Pet Salon in Jan, 2016. Shortly after purchase, we noticed the puppy did not use one of her rear legs. After consulting with a vet and animal surgeon, it was discovered that the puppy was mishandled in some way while in the breeder's care, and sustained a massive hip fracture as an infant. Since the injury was never addressed by the breeder, the hip had become disfigured, and the dog required total hip surgery, costing $3,000. She is permanently lame and will never walk normally-the surgery was to ease her pain and improve quality of life. I consulted with the breeder, who advertises a 100% health guarantee. The breeder agreed to refund the purchase price of the dog in 2-3 months. I have paid the dog's surgical bills and now the breeder has backed out of our agreement to pay as he states it is no longer financially convenient for his business. Please don't make the same mistake I did-do your homework before purchasing and steer clear of backyard breeders.

The communication prior to picking out our sweet f1b golden doodle girl was top notch and very appreciated.We were full of questions and indecisions prior to selection. Gage and Tom patiently answered all our concerns and met with us whenever we requested.Our puppy is amazing! Also when we came to get our Berniedoodle he spent plenty of time with us and I was very impressed with their knowledge around training and feeding. I can’t say enough good! Our Professor Henry Banks has been the best dog!! He’s very laid back, goofy and sooooo loving! He’s now 5 months and I still share pics with them. I’d definitely get more if I could! As we searched for breeders for a new addition to our family we fortunately found PPD on google. After reading their reviews and looking at their fur babies I chatted with Gage. Best decision ever! PPD is upfront, Gage answered every question I had regardless of the time, they allow you to come visit (not seen many that open) and he has walked me through until we finally made the decision to make a deposit for one of their dogs. We honestly couldn’t imagine having a better experience or get a better, healthier dog from any of the other breeders I researched (trust me, I searched for weeks...tirelessly from KY to Louisiana to Florida). We are very specific on the possible personality of our dog and totally trust them in giving their best effort to ensure a good fit. Thanks Gage! We can’t wait to meet our new family member.

I couldn’t be more happy with Gage and Prize Poodles and Doodles!! Over a year ago I sent a message asking about certain breeds they had and what I was looking for. We got so in-depth during the conversation, we discussed temperament and the lifestyle my family and I live. Due to starting a new role I decided to hold off on placing a deposit on a future litter. Fast Forward a year later I reached back out to Gage and he still remembered our conversation! I put a deposit down on an upcoming litter and I asked if it was possible to pay leading up to the pick up date! They worked with me without hesitation! When the litter arrived I got an email with pictures and a video! I saw our little new future family member and we messaged Gage and boom we got him. The most important thing that happened was the fact Gage said “awesome, I’ll see about his temperament to make sure he will be exactly what you and your family are looking for”. That to me showed that not only do they care about the future owners happiness but also want to make sure their puppies go to the right family! He completely hit the bullseye when saying the pup we chose was the right one!! I happened to be a few hours away when Luka was about 4 weeks old and I asked if it was ok to come and visit. They didn’t hesitate for a second and said come on over!! Luka is an amazing, incredibly smart little guy (that’s growing into a big one!) Our Vet has completely fallen in love with him and kept mentioning how beautiful he is and how incredibly healthy Luka is in every aspect! She is also amazed at how calm and relaxed he was during all the poking and probing!! Luka is exactly what we needed and if it weren’t for Gage with Prize Poodles and Doodles we likely wouldn’t be as happy as we are now especially with all the chaos in the world right now! Luka has gotten us closer as a family and I couldn’t be more grateful! People quickly forget about social distance as soon as they see Luka and just want to ask about him, pet him, etc... it’s sad that in those situations we have to keep our distance for safety but the comments we get has to be making Luka feel like a Star!

After months of searching for a perfect dog to train as a service dog, i accidentally stumbled upon Prize Poodles and Doodles. I called them and they were willing to listen to my situation and after talking for only a few minutes they matched me with what they believed would be the perfect dog, a standard poodle named Walker.After only a month, he already knows all of his commands, is perfectly behaved, and we have already bonded better than i could have imagined.Everyone who has met him compliments his temperament, intelligence, and even an experienced dog shower commented on how well bred and beautiful of a poodle he is.I couldnt be more satisfied with my experience or my dog. AS CEO of a well-established dog rescue organization, I deal with a lot of dog breeders and representatives of other dog rescues nationwide. There has been much negative attention placed on breeders and a lot of criticism. I have to agree that there are people who do not deserve to be working in an animal industry, who are self-seeking, careless and even cruel. In very stark contrast, it is a great honor to be associated with Tom and his “Prize Poodles and Doodles” who represents the absolute finest in dog care and breeding that I have seen in over 25 years. I assure you that you will not find a finer dog breeder as well as a human that cares deeper about his calling, his vocation, his work ethic, and his animals. We got our newest personal dogs from him and we are just thrilled. They are working dogs, and as such they are always on display – from coat to temperament. This level of positive image is crucial for us. We have a pair of half-sisters who are just big bundles of love. They are just goofballs – and full of love, love, love! They love us, they love children, other dogs, cats, playgrounds, oceans, and home. They are big time showstoppers, and if there is any negative at all (LOL) is it that we are stopped everywhere we go so that people can admire them! And how they love to show off! They are very easy to train, and very, very smart! And guess what - they do not drool or shed! That’s right! Mine is is a jumbo Newfypoo and is being trained specifically to be a working dog. Her sister is a companion dog in her forever family home, following her 10-year-old human everywhere, and has been training for 7 months OFF LEASH! Amazing to watch! The puppies both stand about 5 feet tall when giving a hug, and are just a couple of fluff balls of pure love. Whether you are looking for a companion dog, or seeking an especially trainable therapy dog, or service dog, Tom is the best breeder, in my book, that I have ever had the honor to deal with! He takes care and time to find out the best fit for both dog and human, to provide a life-long positive relationship between the two. I bought my last puppy (who will be a year old in June) from Prize Poodles and Doodles and he was sick. I spent 4 hours at an animal hospital with 4 kids and was promised to have the vet bill paid. Unfortunately, they didn't pay it back or even contact me.* Update- was refunded the money today.
