G&E burgers is off the beaten path in Kentucky... it is a quaint little hole in the wall that you would expect to find in a small town. I had their cheese burger with bacon with a side of onion rings. The burger was good but not great but the onion rings were delicious. The service was really slow - the waitress was nice but not real attentive. This was a good place for lunch but really nothing special.

Off the beaten path dinner with friendly people and great food. The had awesome fried mushrooms. One of the better burgers I’ve had. I love me a good burger and these definitely rated high on my list of good ones.

Our family of 5 was traveling and stopped here for supper. Really good food for a decent price. My sons kept saying “rate this as 5 stars!” You know when middle/elementary boys say it’s good, it’s good! The Philly cheese steak I had was very flavorful. The restaurant has an updated diner appeal and a nice counter overlooking the river. I would stop here again if we were ever in the area.

Stopped in on a Friday for lunch while in the area. The chili was fantastic! Some of the best I've had. My son ordered the steak sandwich and he said it was really good. We sat at the high top bar and enjoyed the river view.

An I-75 Traveler’s Paradise😊👍🏼If you’re trekking I-75 and need a break from the monotony of fast food, I highly recommend stopping here! With a dog friendly patio, amazing customer service, beautiful river/creek view, well maintained restaurant & restrooms, and (the cherry on top) the delicious home-cooked meals at an unbeatable price, it made for the perfect stop on our long drive from DET to ATL! You should definitely give them a try😊

We broke down near Williamsburg and the repair shop suggested lunch here while we waited. We had a delicious lunch including adult beverages. This place is also great for families with both indoor and outdoor seating next to the Cumberland River. I recommend the catfish!

The food here is good, the only thing I can leave a bad comment about is every now and then service is abit slow when is comes to your server getting to you in a timely manner.Parking: Parking is located in front of the restaurant.

The staff is amazing - sadly, they're probably the best thing about this place.I had the fried catfish and my husband had the ultimate grilled cheese. Both of us had fries as sides, and tea to drink. The catfish was delicious, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. This was the best item in our meals. The slaw was ok, not too sweet, just as I like it, but the veggies tasted like they were from a bag.The grilled cheese was just two different colors of American cheese - white and yellow. No type of contrast, they both tasted exactly the same. It was more toasted than grilled, and the cheese didn't even melt.My bacon ranch fries were slightly soggy, and the bacon was whole pieces just dropped on top, not crumbled up as it should have been. My husband's chili cheese fries were also soggy, and barely lukewarm. The cheese on them never melted.Overall, food is just ok and it's a bit pricy for what you get. They claim to have "the best burgers in town", so I might go back to try them, but if that's true then they need to stick to burgers and leave off the rest.

The good:The wait staff were incredibly friendly, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very laid back yet welcoming, and having a view of the river while eating was very enjoyable. The not-so-good:Honestly, I feel the food is a bit over priced. Their burger boxes (while the portion sizes for the sides are nice) are not worth the 10.99. Burgers tasted unseasoned and very over cooked, fries was a mixed bag—over cooked yet soggy, the Cole slaw only tasted of wet mayonnaise, and sadly even the fountain drinks were flat. I will say the veggies on the burger tasted fresh and were welcomed.Over all, it was palatable, but sadly not enjoyable. If a major vote in a group of friends wanted to go there, I’d go, but not on my own.Parking: Easy to get in, but difficult to get out of due to the location.

We always stop at G&E when we are in Williamsburg. We like the atmosphere and looking out over the Cumberland river while we are there. Now they have live music on Saturday nights which we are looking forward to. The food is great and the service is fast and friendly. The fried pickles, onion rings and Rudy burger are a must try!

Great service and great food! Had a cheeseburger and it tasted great. I think they use fresh ground beef instead of frozen patties. Anyway, it was really good and we would go there again if in the area.
