Founded in the 1930s, this is a legit diner complete with a broad menu and great standard options.Rachel waited on us and her attention was second to none. They have 3 way, 4 way 5 way spaghetti versions with chili, onion, cheeses and I can give my best endorsement for the 3 way spaghetti with chili. YummyThey serve Pepsi products and will throw in a dash of cherry juice for cherry Pepsi blast of the past. Outstanding.Their desserts are simply delicious 😋We were there for an early dinner and I wish we had the time to go back tomorrow for breakfast as they are known for country breakfasts.

We enjoyed going here. They were very short of help but handled it the best they could and were not disgruntled but actually apologetic and as cheerful as could be expected considering the pressure. Fortunately we were in no hurry. Proud to say that not one of our group of young people complained, though some received their orders after others were finished. The ice cream desserts came out quickly and were delicious.

We were hiking at Cumberland Falls State Park and Natural Arch and happened upon the Dairy Bar when looking for somewhere nearby to eat! The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome! We ate on the front table outside with our dog and the service was great! The owner came out and talked to us and was super friendly. The food was 10/10! We'll definitely come back next time we are in the area!

Take me back to the 50s in a wonderful little cafe that really rocks! I love their food, I love their fudge cakes, I love their shakes, I love their fish fries, it's also good. The people are so friendly, you feel genuinely better when you leave, and not just because you're not hungry anymore. Highly recommend it.Parking: Park right in front! Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love this place. The food is good The atmosphere is great, and people there just don't mind children.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, easy to roll in on a wheelchair and pull up to a table.

Fell in love with the atmosphere as soon as I pulled up. Interior is 50's original with serving bar, stools, and old soda fountains. The menu is... a lot. I was slightly disappointed that I saw only soft serviced ice cream. But, there was nothing disappointing about my banana split... it was huge, full of fruit, and delicious.I was told that the business has been there since 1954 (if I remember correctly) and still has that old-style vibe. From servers to cooks, everyone seemed to enjoy what they were doing despite it getting super after school busy. Certainly worth a visit if and when I ever make it back to that neck of the woods.

Great spot, burgers were fantastic, crinkle fries and tots were crispy and not greasy at all. Corn nuggets were good, but the star of the meal was the hot fudge cake! Yum yum!

Had breakfast. Bathroom clean. Price reasonable. Kitchen open. No alcohol. Environmentally appeared to be Woke/Family/Christian non observant but friendly. No usb ports or charging stations. Has a charm which resembles a carhop from the 50’s.Well worth trying out. Appears to attract vehicles of interest.I had ham, eggs, hash browns and toast.Once you leave there (if you go south) check out the “Cornblossom” roadside marker at36.70265° N, 84.48560° WTake a 420@ Pine Knott Cemetery36.66493° N, 84.44743° Wwhere some of the most notorious outlaws of the 1930’s are laid to rest. If you go north, though it’s a bit out of the way, may I suggest swinging by Yahoo Falls where “Cornblossom” was killed after unsuccessfully attempting to lead a group of mult-racial children enslaved by Chief Doublehead to freedom in 1810.

I came in from Florida for Thanksgiving and stopped by the Dairy Bar for a hamburger and fries. It was phenomenal! You can’t get burgers like this in Tampa! I forgot just how good they are here. Awesome job!

My wife and I love trying local restaurants when traveling instead of chains, this place did not disappoint. The place had a very nostalgic 50s feel. The food was good as was the service. We had a good time and enjoyed eating here. If you are passing through I would highly recommend it. The 4 way Cincinnati style chili was excellent!

Great family environment in a small town, good food, good prices! Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is made to order. Dine in or car hop options available. Desert and ice cream is their specialty, but dinner here is also enjoyable. Not many of these places left and you wouldn't expect one in this town. I love the 50s diner experience. I would recommend this to anyone that is in Whitley City. Quick Note: Park in the side gravel parking lot if you dine in to avoid being boxed in by car hop customers. Bacon cheeseburger with fries is my top choice, with a banana split or hot fudge cake for dessert of course! Plan on spending $20-$30 for 2 people.

The greatest burgers and chuckwagon! A true blast to the past, just like a 50s drive in restaurant. Great and friendly service!

We went to this 50’s diner on Saturday evening and it was busy but the staff was working efficiently. America food for a great price. This is certainly a family spot .

Great stop I way back to Cumberland Falls campground after a hike to and swim in Princess Falls. Old time type diner with a wide selection of food, although kids only wanted Hot Fudge sundaes, good soft serve ice cream with delicious hot fudge, and French fries. Reordered fries two times, because they kept eating them so quickly. They add service charge of you use a credit card. Save some money and pay cash.
