If not every day every other day I go into Food City to get a garden salad or grilled chicken salad however there were none made yet there was a young lady I wish I had gotten her name she took the salad to the back took off the fried chicken and added me grilled chicken I appreciate her very much. There was also another young lady at the deli register that was very kind to me I'm saying this because really do you see people of color in Food City I am one of them however there are two members in the deli when I go they give me the smallest portion for the same price my coworker who is Caucasian he will buy the same meal and his plate is filled with tenders for tender dinner when I purchase the same meal for him one day they only gave me two tenders with two sides he was irate however everyone at the store is not Prejudice or racist yet I have encountered that at Food City I have been here since November of last year hopefully my trip will be ending soon

Coming from Virginia this food city is always cheaper because of Kentucky's tax status on food. Store is always well stocked, good produce and fresh meats.

Food city has a wide variety and selection on all items, fresh, seems to always be in stock on items, the associates are friendly and polite, the store itself is clean and in order, my #1 go-to grocery store.

This Food City store DOES NOT close at midnight. Site clearly states they close at 12am, however if you're pulling into the parking lot a staff member will literally run across the parking into the store to get a what we assumed was a manger dash out the door stating they are closed & always close by 11.

We always go here to buy some produce. They are always fresh. And you will always get good deals from it. I always use the food city card that way it'll accumulate some points that can be use as a discount for gas.

Very bad they let some people away with failing drug test and other people they don’t they are unfair also they fire one girl for forgetting to id but yet the mangers and there favorite never I’d or anything when I walk in there always standing around uscan it’s the same girls I’ve also see them use expired lunch meat, turkey, and cheese also corporate is aware of these issues and does nothing about them store manager Scott told a employees they can retest in 6 months and lied to that person

It was okay. I am a disabled person so finding a good store is hard. Both food city and play for less has a issue with providing good electric cart's. They are either dilapidated or not charged and die halfway through the shopping trip. food is more expensive than most stores. Over all its just a okay store. Good selection but your gonna play for it.

Have a lot of stuff and some good sales. But sometimes W-Mart is cheaper on cakes, bread and drinks. Just depends on what you need. They've changed their aisles around and stuff takes a minute to find now, but they have more than they did before. Love the self checkout. Especially when you only have a couple of items.

Very Rude and Incompetent Deli employee. I ordered 1 pound of sliced cheese and 1 pound of turkey then went on to do the rest of my shopping. I came back 45 minutes later, my order was not ready. I had to stand and wait another 15 minutes for my order. When I finally did get my order it was incorrect. The employee had sliced 2 pounds of turkey and 2 pounds of cheese, on top of that she sliced a different type of turkey than what I asked for. This employee was extremely rude. The Deli was not busy. Several workers were just standing around. There was no excuse for the wait, the incompetence or the extreme rudeness. I will not be shopping here again!

They have anything I need. The deli is a great place to eat. $5.00 and you can eat good home cooked food. Fresh meats with a butcher on duty to cut and kind of meat and way you want, also fresh seafood just can't be beat in Perry County. Fair prices and with a value card you save much more. My favorite food store to shop at.

We’ll all I gotta say is update y’all’s opening time on y’all’s website, says open at 6am but in all reality it should say opens 7am til 11pm I mean can’t be that complicated well after this morning I got to the door at exactly at 7am n the heavy set blonde lady looks dead at me and says they are closed n they didn’t open til exactly 7:10am n it the same girl sittin at Gas & go you are straight up a lier

A better produce selection than Walmart. Personally I go here for their fresh meat/vegetables and wider selection of fish. Produce is priced well with value card. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Pharmacy pick up staff are some of the kindest I've met.

10:00 at night 12 customers in line one cashier open. I told the manager 16 minutes in line was too long to wait to pay for your groceries. He said ah well that's all the company allows. I won't be shopping here anymore.... Sad because the guys in the back that cut meat for you are really good..nice butcher shop.

The produce is almost always fresh and the food overall is good quality. In the past they seem like they always cost more than other local stores but any more, the price is about the same and even better when they have sales. One big downside is the bar that you order food from. The meatloaf sucks.

Big selection and fresh produce but prices are a little high. And after shopping today, the prices have went up even more.. prices are getting far too expensive. People cannot afford these high prices. Some prices are still increasing.

Food city always has what I'm looking for stock wise, and the people are friendly and it's generally clean but I definitely saw a small mouse in there one time so check your produce, meat, and bread thoroughly! I assume any large food provider will have issues with pests but when one makes it to the floor it's pretty sketchy.

I have grown to really dislike this place after shopping here for many years.Deceptive and confusing pricing, very annoying "value card" required. Prices are generally high and sometimes ridiculously high. They do have a good selection, but once you have gotten used to the prices at Aldi it's really hard to accept the prices at food City. Go to Don's or cash saver, both of which are locally owned stores

It's pretty much the nicest grocery store in Hazard, which isn't saying much. You won't find the selection of organic and natural products anywhere else, and I'm always shocked at how good it is. Be prepared to spend a lot though, no matter what you're buying.

Very good variety, but packed most of the time. That is the only thing I did not like about the store. Other than all the people the store was clean, had about anything you could need and the employees are very kind.

Spent 24 min in line at 1030 at night to get a gallon of milk cause the Manager (matt) just like to look at you while a new cashier is the only one to work. Sadly there was only one person in front of me maybe one day they will train instead of people watching

Great seafood selection and prime Angus beef. Fast service with several self checkout lanes. Expansive fruit and vegetable selection as well as a lunch and salad bar. Huge deli section.
