I highly recommend the dog spot to anyone looking for a place to board their dogs. Not once have I ever had an issue with my dog staying here because Carol and her staff take excellent care of every dog that stays with them. My baby Jack absolutely loves coming here and getting to run around in the yard with the other dogs. He genuinely looks forward to visiting and getting to see his best friend Livy!

I have worked at The Dog Spot for a year now. Carol is truly an amazing boss. She has so much love for every single dog that walks through our doors and treats them as her own. She does everything she can to help her employees be the best version of themselves and to make sure that the dogs in our care get the exercise and love they need while making sure that we maintain a clean environment. Carol has been the best boss I will probably ever have. Working in the kennel has been a very positive experience for me.

I would highly recommend The Dogspot for boarding your pet while away. Carol and her staff are amazing!!! It is so nice knowing your dog is being cared for and you never need to worry! I also love that the dogs get such a big yard to play in and roam around during the day!

We brought Ned for a two week stay. He thoroughly enjoyed himself. Carol and the staff at The Dig Spot took great care of Ned. We appreciate having such nice people to look after Ned when we are out of town. Makes our vacation so much better to know our Ned is being well looked after. Thanks Carol...

I highly recommend Carol and her team at The Dog Spot! I always leave my pups knowing that they will be very well taken care of during their stay. There are several kennels that are closer to me, but I'll always travel the extra distance to The Dog Spot!

If I could give zero stars I would and here’s why I’m contacting the BBB…This place is absolutely unprofessional when it comes to picking up your fur baby. She opens the garage door, I get out the car and greet her with a smile. Zero response. Okay. Odd for a human being not to greet another human but I digress. They only accept CASH or CHECK which is fine... Carol is extremely rude even when advised that a new check would be written for the new balance that was never disclosed to us until time of pickup. Communication with her is little to none and at times we asked to see if our fur baby was doing okay with her not responding as well as leaving as on edge to wait for her to post on Facebook to see our fur baby. Carols response to everything was “So what are you doing? Where’s the check?” Not giving myself or anyone a chance to let her know what’s going on. Save yourself the trouble, hassle, and disrespect as it seemed like it was SUCH an inconvenience for me to pick up my fur baby during business hours that seems to be a horrible way of doing business. This place is not clean at all. Dealing with so many peoples pets, you would at least think to have your lobby clean and free of debris for your PAYING customers. Sorry not your lobby, your garage where you do business since that’s where you drop off and pick up. We gave you our fur baby, trusting you would take good care of her, yet you gave her back to us covered in dried mud as to where you can tell she was not bathed at all during her stay. I was happy to see my pet but as soon as I attempted to pet her, all that came off of her was dried mud and dust. They could’ve at least asked “hey, your doggie is a bit dirty, would you like us to bathe her?” We would’ve paid the extra buck for that service but again, this “Dog Spot” lacks customer service. Anyway, save yourself from this place and go elsewhere.

We are very, very pleased with The Dog Spot! We left our pups there for a week and have absolutely no complaints. They allowed us to tour the facility a few weeks prior to their stay. During their stay we called them to check in on how they were doing since it was their first boarding experience. They streamline things so there is no guess work when dropping off your pups. The facility is very well run and clean. We will be using them again no doubt! We know our pups are well taken care of, played with, and safe with The Dog Spot! Thanks so much Carol and all the other helpers! We appreciate your love and care of animals!

I would definitely recommend this dog boarding to anyone. They are very friendly and great to the dogs. They have quite a bit of property for the dogs to run each day too. All in all a great pick when looking to board, I believe our dogs actually thought they were on vacation. They were smiling there, and the entire way home.

Our dogs absolutely love their home away from home at Pet Paradise! This place is simply amazing… They both love the huge bone shaped pool, and all their friends and the staff is loving and attentive to each and every fur client. It is always immaculately clean and the decor is perfect. We use the vet service there and could not love Dr. Bennett more. The convenience of having a vet’s office on site, especially one of this caliber, is a great comfort, plus we get a large discount on our doggy daycare. Five stars all the way!!!

The Dog Spot is AMAZING! Both of my dogs go there for both doggy daycare and boarding and I cannot express how much they love it there. Most other kennels keep your dog cooped up for most of the day, but not The Dog Spot! They are constantly allowed out to play, and the owner makes it a point to learn which dogs get along with each other best to allow for the best socialization. My Shepherd is never tired, but when I pick him up from daycare, he sleeps the rest of the day. The owner has so many years of experience with dogs, I would trust her with mine no matter what. She was instrumental in introducing my rescue to proper play with other dogs. Now, he loves it too! She's extremely flexible and treats everyone's dog like her own. Highly recommend. I've referred her to many friends, who were all thrilled with her services as well.

I have never boarded here and never will. We drove by hoping to see/meet someone at the kennel... granted, unannounced ...It's in a very rural location, which I thought might be a plus... more room for animals.The posted hours are very limiting 8-10 AM, 4-5 PM ...closed Sundays and Holidays.The place was silent (no dogs barking), which seemed a bit off for a kennel. There were a couple boys offloading things from a pickup truck, but they ignored us.I called from the parking lot, and a lady answered, stating that they were closed and when I asked, said they don't do tours. Again, it all seemed a bit off for a kennel.Sorry folks, you get neither my business nor my recommendation. If you want people to trust you with their dogs, there needs to be better service on your end of the telephone, which, obviously, is the only way we would have to check up on them.

DO NOT BOARD HERE!If I could give them less stars I would! They are unprofessional and rude. My dogs were there for 3 days and they only got fed one time! The woman that runs it won’t return emails or phone calls and is extremely inconsiderate. I understand that it is a small business but when you are boarding animals you expect your animals to be taken care of. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Owner is very rude. I was shocked at the manner she talked to her customers. Dogs are cared by high school girls. They said the boarding went well. However, our dog was visibly distressed on a day we picked it up and he had bite marks on his neck with dried blood (so noone ever bothered to even clean the wound to sanitize it, I am not even talking that something happened there..) very upset with the experience, as the owner is supposedly a dog trainer...

My dogs are always in the best care at a low rate. They aren't just stuck in a cage, they get a huge yard to play in. I couldn't ask for a better place for my dogs. You don't have to pay extra for someone to treat your fur baby like their own.

They take very good care of my Husky. He stayed here for ten days while i was traveling and he was very healthy and happy when I picked him up. He was able to play daily and socialize. Only place I trust to keep him now.

They leave your dog alone with know one there to attend to them. they also can't handle large dogs and if your on vacation and they feel they can't handle them they tell you to come get them now. our dogs act like they haven't eaten or drank any water in 2 days its breaking my heart to see my dogs like this. But I'm sure if you have a small dog like a puppy they can handle it

Seemed like a nice place. I don't know why, but after 6 days we picked my dogs up and one of them had vomitted there and vomitted here at home. Maybe it was nothing because about 24 hours after returning home he seemed to be better. I've just never had this experience after any other kennel.

I didn't care for the place because my dog didn't get his allergy meds and he was starving and dying of thirst wen I picked him up. Too many dogs n kennels and too little help there. I got over charged a day were he wasn't even there. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Very unprofessional. And very disappointed in the place.
