Highly recommend! We took our dog here after he hurt his leg and had been to another place that refused to see him again wanted us to go to the emergency vet. They got us in very quick at the end of the day on a Friday! She was absolutely wonderful and recommended treatment that was very affordable. Our 9 year old dog is healthy and well again. We will definitely come here in the future.

HIghly recommend... this place is much more affordable than other places, yet provides excellent service. Everyone I've interacted w/here is super knowledgeable and friendly.I live 30 minutes away, and planned on just coming here for a spay procedure (about $120 here Vs. a WHOPPING $570 in Middletown.) After experiencing their care, I'll be making that drive for all my cat's future vet needs. it's worth it.I called the office with a question about my cat's spay when the office had already been closed for 20 mins (I didn't realize) and they called me back while i was still on the line and were very friendly and reassuring. That's what solidified me loving this place. Thanks guys!

Have taken my schnauzer here for years because it’s close to home & reasonably priced. Lately, my experiences have gone downhill but I wanted to give them another chance. Most recently, it was recommended that teeth cleaning was done. I dropped my girl off Wednesday morning at 8:30 & within a couple hours, I received a call stating that X-rays showed 2 teeth needed to be pulled due to root damage. I was bummed but understood. I didn’t want the damage to cause bigger problems & gave the tech my ok to continue with the procedure. The next call I received, around 1:30, I was told everything went well & my pup would ready for pick up after 2pm.I arrived at the office about 2:30 & was still told everything was good by the tech as I’m paying my bill. Then I’m pulled into a room where I’m to wait for the vet - I assumed this was to explain aftercare. Dr Pollet came in the room & immediately said “there was a mishap during the procedure”. I’m automatically freaking out. She explains that the tip of the bit used for cleaning BROKE off and was swallowed. Dr explained the bit has broken before but never has she seen it been swallowed. That they flushed the esophagus with water & took X-rays to see where it was. Scans showed it was in the stomach and dr said it should pass within a few days. I’m visibly upset at this point. The dr leaves & says the tech will be in shortly with my dog. When the tech arrives, I’m given 2 medications (no explanation on what they are - I googled this on my own) and my pup. No aftercare info. No explanation of which teeth were pulled. Only that I should come back in 2 days for a follow up X-ray. I left in quite a rush because of the fact that both myself & my baby were upset. Once I got home, I noticed that my pup had a residue all around her rear- like she had an accident that wasn’t cleaned. I’m even more livid.I called first thing Friday morning to confirm a time for the X-ray - I left a voicemail. After a hour with no call back, I called again & was told anytime would be fine. I returned (reluctantly) for the follow up X-ray & once it was completed (2 sets of scans were done) was told the bit tip is now in my dogs colon so it will pass. Before I left the office, I asked for a print out of all the records on file - only then did I know which teeth were actually pulled. At no point during either visit was an apology offered. At no point did anyone try to console me while I was upset. Dr Pollet seemed cold & uncaring during every interaction. The whole situation was handled very unprofessionally. I will never be back & will tell everyone I know to stay clear.

My cat was seen fast and everyone seemed to be nice.Their set was different, after you let the secretary know you're there you go straight back to the room and then someone comes in and gets your pets and takes your pet back to another room to see Veterinarian and then a worker brings the pet back to you and then the Vet comes in and talks to you about your pet.

Professional, caring, competent, fairly priced. Called just after hours tonight for my cat who appeared to have a wound. Was told if I could have her there in 10 minutes, they would see her. I rushed to the office. They took us in immediately and provided their usual excellent care. Very grateful! Been going there two and a half years.

Brought in a rescued female red nose American pitbull for a check up n shots. The day before i walked her in and around petsmart she never even growled. She had free range of my house not once used the bathroom inside. She understood sit fetch shake stay . When the assistant brought her back from the exam room . Her leash was soaked and so was she ,she had her tail between her legs and was trembling. She came right to me with her head down.. she never acted like this before .. the assistant said she emptied her bladder as to why she wet and also they had to muzzle her or she would have bit them.. when the doc came in to talk she offered no explanation of what transpired nor did she answer any questions i asked her demeanor was not favorable towards this breed of animal.. i dont know what she done to my dog but it wasnt nice and she still to this say a week later has her tail tucked and her head down.. never agian will i take any animal to this place for any reason. So all who have been there think of this how many of your pet acted differently after a visit there.. i dont recommend this place there are far better up the road who i wanted to goto but my wife called the wrong number and made an appointment… to muzzle a persons dog without their knowledge or permission and make it pee on itself is un called for and unprofessional.. This animal is the most friendly loving dog i have ever encountered.. There was foul play in that room..not to mention i felt all over the hind quarters of my animal there were no tender areas where a shot should have been give let alone 3. Request everything be done in your presence or leave …..Me

The staff is unprofessional and provided false status, poor care and untruth information about the pet. The absolute poor treatment resulted in the ultimate decision for the cat to be put to sleep..

Great vet! Have been going there since Dr Pollett opened her office there. She's been there for us through the years with many of our losses and our new ones. We've seen staff grow and leave to have families and come back or have to move on for family. They all work hard with dedication to all the animals and clients. It's a great place for fur baby parents and even the types that don't necessarily have fur!

They are great! They are very thorough and don't over test or treat so they can charge more. Plus, their prices seem to beat most other vet offices.

Very friendly staff. Stefanie, the vet is simply wonderful and caring with all my pets. Missy, my little princess loves her. I've taken all our pets there since she opened her doors. Would highly recommend Stephanie and her staff to everyone.Update 08/09/2018While I still like Stephanie and her clinic, we've moved to a new vet. It was a tough decision for me but Stephanie simply priced her self out the door. While I know with overhead n cost of supplies and such one has to set their prices accordingly. But to keep adjusting your prices up and closing for days at a time I decided it was time to move on. Think Stephanie is a great vet, liked her staff and location, but I have a budget I have to live by. Our new vet stays busy the entire time their opened, yet often doesn't charge an office visit even for a quick exam or an update of vaccinations. Stephanie charged an office visit every single time even if all our fur babies were in to be examined, given meds, shots, etc.. In fairness to East Bullit, nothing but positive things to say. Just got a little to pricey for my tastes.

They are awesome and have seen all my pets. They take good care of them and actually have great prices for a vet. 10/10 for me couldn't ask for a better vet. Even through in a deal when I needed my cats whole litter checked.

Dr. Pollett has a great bedside manner. She seems genuinely concerned about healing and the well being of her patients. Costs are very reasonable too. I thinks she's the cheapest practitioner in town but her office is nicest I've seen in town. I recommend her.P.S. I don't give 5 star ratings often. This is a terrific establishment; might give them 5 in the future.

I’ll start by saying I never leave bad reviews. This experience was so bad, I felt I had to share.I scheduled an appointment with BOTH of my dogs at 4:30 for basic vaccines due to us boarding them next week etc. They told me on the phone they would come out to the car and give the vaccine. $18 each for the three year vaccine. Reasonable.AFTER AN HOUR of waiting in the parking lot with my 6 month old baby and two dogs they came out and expressed they only had me down for one dog. Regardless they said they would take both dogs. Great. The lady proceeded to take them both inside which I was not aware would be happening. While walking to the building she lost control of both dogs. They were loose in the front yard next to a busy highway. My daughter ran to help. The veterinarian came outside and began yelling at my 11yo daughter and questioning why there was two dogs.AFTER ANOTHER HOUR of waiting they called and said it would be $100 for the two vaccines because they charged me for wellness visits. Which I did not ask for nor was explained to me on the phone.Once they brought my dogs back out to me I looked at the paperwork and realized they gave the one year shots instead of the three year.Do yourself a favor andGo. Somewhere. Else.

We came across them during an emergency with our dog and they will now be our permanant vet. They were very helpful, reasonably priced, and concerned. Great staff, nice, clean place, and great location for us. Highly recommended.

Getting an appointment was easy and the staff so empathetic. The reason for the visit was to bring an end to my older pet's suffering....Not a pleasant visit but the staff was so understanding and thoughtful. If that kind of thing is ever easy, they made it a tactful, sympathetic visit.

I love heather very good and knowledgable. But the girl that answers the phone which is the vets daughter is not friendly, knowledgable and really dont want her messing with my boy. She is not trained well at all with customer service and how she answers questions. Heather is pretty awesome. I like the clinic just tired of dealing with someone on the phone that doesnt know anything, and thinks she does. Train all your employees whether it is your daughter or not.

Worst experience ever. Dr. Pollett was extremely unprofessional and agitated, it was clear with her treatment of my 2 month old kitten. When I asked her to cut his nails she rolled her eyes and then she scolded him while squeezing his paw and called him a jerk for scratching her. She didn’t even offer treats as a calm mechanism while he got his shots. I will never return and I would suggest that potential clients try Mount Washington Animal Client instead. It’s right up the street and comparable in pricing.

We rescued our cat in August and had not made a decision on a Vet Clinic yet because Simba's shots were up to date and he was doing well. Last Friday when I got home from taking my daughter from school I looked at cat's eye and it had had a slight discharge and looked swollen and he was holding it closed. I Googled Vets and every one that I called was fully booked for the day and couldn't see him until Monday. Even an Animal Hospital. Finally I came across East Bullitt Animal Clinic and they could see him at 3:30 that day! By the time I took him he had more discharge and his eye wouldn't open. They informed me after testing with a dye that he had a Corneal Ulcer and his eye was infected. If I hadn't brought him for Vet care it could have ruptured and it would have resulted in loss of vision or an expensive surgery. They sent me home with pain relieving pills and antibiotic eye drops and a cone "E-Collar". They only charged $40 for the exam and the dye testing and medications were very reasonable. Today we took him for his follow-up appointment and they did another dye test for $25 and a $30 follow up fee. Their prices are very competitive compared to others I was given up to $175 just to be seen Monday. Thank you East Bullitt Animal Clinic for saving Simba from enduring more pain and both of us from a costly eye surgery or blindness if it got worse! They were extremely polite over the phone and in person and answered all of my questions as I was very worried. I probably called 5 times with questions! Needless to say we found a Vet Clinic for Simba and will be returning to get his shots updated etc.! I am greatful for the wonderful staff and Doctor and will be a customer for life! Don't think twice about coming here, you will definetly be pleased!

My first time going here and I took a 4 week old kitten I had rescued to them because my normal vet couldn’t fit her in for a week. Her stomach was huge from worms, she had tons of ear mites, fleas, etc etc. Yhey ended up giving this 4 week old, underweight kitten Bravecto Plus topical for treatment of her fleas, ticks, worms. I had questioned it after the fact (since we can’t go in with covid) because she wasn’t close to the minimum weight and not even close to the minimum age for this to be given. They told me that she was a little young but the weight/ages on the box are just a recommendation. Well it was already given so that was that. A day or so later I’m am taking this kitten to a 24 hour emergency hospital for lethargy and open mouth breathing. The vet there had the list of medications East Bullitt had given her and she absolutely could not believe they gave her Bravecto plus. THEY LITERALLY ALMOST KILLED THIS KITTEN by giving her that medication because their vets are incompetent!!!! Fast forward to today when she had a check up with our normal vet in Mt Washington…. She also couldn’t believe they had given her Bravecto Plus, and couldn’t believe she was alive. Their treatment for ear mites didn’t work, nor did they actually really even clean her ears out decently and the Bravecto Plus topical treatment for fleas/ticks/roundworms/hookworms that literally almost killed her didn’t even treat the worms. She had to be treated again with oral medications.Maybe East Bullitt excels in other areas of vet care, but the incompetence when caring for kitten is astounding and I would caution anyone around rescuing kittens this young from going there.

Cancelled my apointment after they had closed at the last minute. I made the apointment for my only day off and they pulled the rug on me at the last minute. Obviously understaffed, inconsiderate and unprofessional sums it up. I would give 0 stars if available.
