I took my two red bones coonhounds puppies in there, they were really bad about jumping and running out the door and just not listening, they use to take food outta my hand as I'm eating. Two week with mark the owner/ dog trainer and my pups were listening and sitting, staying, doing place, walking with me and much calmer. The first week I was nervous since I didn't see much change and he assured me the second week they'd be much better and they were. Mark was transparent and honest and a laid back old school man and my dogs even liked him which shocked me. I would definitely recommend this place for training, also the price was the by far the best around.

I took my previous dogs to Wayne years ago and always had wonderful experiences. We hadn't needed to use a kennel until we got our current labs. It's now under new ownership, but still within the family, so this was my first experience with Mark. I was happy to see nothing changed... They were professional, friendly, accommodating to schedule changes, and most importantly took wonderful care of our silvers. We most definitely will use them for any other kenneling needs.

I’m not sure what’s happened. Place used to be great which is why we chose to use them during our vacation.We left for a week, thinking our pup was in good hands. Our 12.4lb dachshund came back to us at 10.3lb and malnourished and very sickly. Which resulted in us having to take her to the vet which gave her a nutritional boost and iv.I understand the pup “may” not have ate, I have no idea. But I paid for daily updates and was never told once that she was not eating, so I’m forced to assume that she was not fed properly during her stay.What once was a lively, active dog with a great appetite is now weak, malnourished and acting as if someone had beat her.We will never be back.

Canine Companions is wonderful. Wayne and Sheri are incredibly helpful, caring, and professional. My dog boarded there 5 or 6 times over the course of just a few months and he always came home happy and healthy. I adopted a cat and boarded him there a few times as well. I had no concerns that my animals were well taken care of and receiving lots of love while boarding. I highly recommend Canine Companions for both dog and cat boarding.

We've had poor experiences at some other boarding places, but Wayne & his crew are absolutely wonderful. We have no worries whatsoever when we drop off our rescue Greyhounds at Canine Companion - I recommend them to anyone in the area with dogs and/or cats.

Originally used Wayne for training our lab and he worked wonders. He is a phenomenal trainer and great guy to deal with. We have also used them for grooming and they take great care of our dogs and they looked great.

I've called twice and left voice mails and Canine Companion does not return calls. That is a big red flag to me.

Love this place and so does our Reggie, they kept him 2 days so we could tour the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. He has seizures and needs medication during the day,not a problem for them and no seizure for him. I highly recommend this place!!!!

Dropped my dog off for a 23 hour stay and because I arrived after 12pm I was charged for an additional day, a policy that I was never made aware of. Apparently this must be a new polucy because 6 months ago I wasn't charged for an additional day when I picked my dog up at 5pm.
