I delivered a load of Feed there on Friday afternoon. They were extremely busy. The Gentleman that work there were friendly and helpful. "However" ... the loading dock is in the front of the store facing the Street?! Other than that.. it was a good experience 😎

I would 10/10 recommend! I came in looking for advice on some minerals/feed for some texas longhorn cattle. Not only did they answer my questions and get me loaded up, the gentleman gave my son a quarter to get a gumball out of the machine. If you are looking for customer service and to build a local relationship, look no further Woodford Feed Co. has it all!

They're lucky I gave them a one star. Have bought gravel from this company for several years. Ordered a load and they brought the wrong size. Way to large - 5"x 6" average size. Talked with a manager - showed him a piece I brought into the store. He said he'd go in half with me on another load of smaller rock I ordered originally to fill in the large rock they dumped. Half would be 100 dollars. So I gave him my 100 dollar share and I got a 100 dollars of rock delivered (half a truck) instead of 200 dollars. We will never buy anything at this store again. They don't want to straighten out their mistakes. I don't recommend this merchant.

Very helpful and very nice. They showed me how to work my stihl weed eater since I had never used that brand. They even put some gas in it to do that at no extra charge.

Delivery driver was unprofessional and insulting as to the condition of our farm. We were actually ordering fence planks to fix it up. We called and voiced our concerns and a gentleman returned our call. He defended the actions of the driver and gave an apology. It was an empty apology. It was received as an empty apology. We shopped at Woodford feed because we enjoy and believe in supporting our local economy. I have bought several thousands of dollars worth of fence planks, chemicals, hardware, and other things from them in the past but I am going to drive to Nicholasville or else ware and purchase my farm necessities in the future. I wish the gentleman who called my wife would have just listened and apologized. Sometimes that's what you do to keep customers happy. I'm sure our business wont be missed. Our needs are chump change to them. Too bad.

Ordered regularly ordered horse feed and was given cattle feed after initially being told there was no possibility the feed I was given could be cattle feed because their “cattle feed is made in a separate mill.”After being told they would call me back to arrange to pick up the incorrect cattle feed and deliver the correct horse feed over a week ago and there was no possibility the feed was for cattle, when I called back today, I was informed the feed is in fact cattle feed and that I would be responsible for reloading the entire amount and making the 45 minute drive to bring it back.As a 4th year veterinary student and a practicing attorney, I am both shocked and appalled at the egregious “mix up” as well as Woodford Feed’s reckless indifference to the welfare of my horses.While I normally do not post negative reviews, I felt it necessary in order to forewarn those purchasing feed from this establishment.
