The deli has improved. The quality of ordered food is more consistent across the board. Most all the staff are friendly, helpful, and courteous. The quality of the produce has improved as well. The store is clean, good selection of products, and has that hometown feel!

So very displeased with this store -- specifically the deli department. I cannot speak for daytime employees, but as far as nightshift is concerned, many of the employees are rude and inconsiderate. I cannot begin to count the number of times I've one of the employees huffing and puffing, sighing loudly, and being downright disrespectful because I called to order a hamburger 45 minutes before closing. This just happened again the other night. She REFUSED my hot food order (only taking an order for a pepperoni pizza but nothing else), so then I asked if I could get a pound of Virginia ham, chipped into thinly sliced smaller pieces. This is how I always order it. Her attitude got about 5x worse than it had been, and let me know she has already cleaned the slicer. Again, they were still open for another 45 minutes. She finally said she would cut the deli meat, but she would not chip it. Then reiterated the slicer had already been cleaned for the night and I should basically just be happy with whatever she gave me. I told her to forget it altogether, because I would just have to bring it back the next day and get it cut the way I wanted it to begin with. I should not have to "settle" for whatever the employee decides to give me. I am the paying customer! And if you are going to slice the meat with the slicer regardless of thickness, why would you tell a customer you will not do it the way it has been requested of you? Terrible customer service. Terrible manners. No respect. And the sad part about is the fact that incidents like this have happened numerous times. I let the lady know that night that I would no longer be a customer. She didn't seem to care about that either. Go figure.

Food is always great, but every time I place an order for pickup at the deli it’s always wrong. There is a major lack of training. Can you train your employees to look at a order slip to properly fill orders.

I have seen green meat, rotten cheese, rotten potatoes, and rotten produce in this place. I have even bought green meat there before and didn't know it was green until I bought it and took it home and onened it. I did take it back and got my money back. They either need to hire people that wants to do their jobs and inspect everything, or hire more people.
