I was really looking forward to visiting the new Ace for the first time in our town. I even wrote the grand opening date on my calendar. The store itself is very nice and everything is neat and tidy. However, I must say, I’m very disappointed in the lack of friendliness in the staff. I passed by and was in close proximity to at least 6 employees, including management, and not one of them acknowledged me, asked if I needed help, or anything like that. The store wasn’t busy at all. It was only about 2 to 3 customers there at the time. However, I did noticed that the other customers were treated very nicely and were getting assistance and the staff was being very friendly to them. I can’t help but wonder if it was because of my race that I was treated differently. They didn’t leave me feeling like a valued customer at all. I shared with my spouse about my experience.With that being said, the cashier, which is the older lady, was friendly and very nice to me. The interaction I had between her and the other staff was like night and day. Because of her, I may consider visiting the store sometime in the future. Hopefully, things would have changed for the better by then.

In my opinion, this is what a hardware store should be. they have almost anything you could want, fast friendly staff that are ready willing, and able to help you with all your home, garden, and hardware needs
