This place is a joke. I was driving down West Main and right there at the corner of West Main Street I watched a man throw a cat from the top balcony. Called to file a complaint and was told that unless I had pictures or a video there was nothing that they could do. I asked if there was any way they could go pick this cat up because clearly he doesn't want this cat on his porch and they told me that they did not take in any cats. My question is why can't you pick it up and take it to a different location that does take cats? Guessing it's a small town and no one wants to get in trouble for animal cruelty here. The least you could do is go pick it up and do something other than nothing

My daughter volunteers for high school’s community service. Melvin Gore, his wife, Tabitha and the rest of the people involved are very dedicated to the welfare of the animals there and do the very best with the resources available to them
