Food Giant is a regional and local grocery chain that is employee owned. Competitive prices and for most part friendly helpful staff. But like most businesses they seem understaffed and semi desperate for quality employees.

This store is a prime example of a large company taking avantage of an impoverished area. The only competitor is Walmart, which is a 13 mile drive away. The price of food here is about triple the national average. The selection is terrible and the fruit is horribly overpriced. Poor selection as well. No wonder lower income areas have a higher BMI average. Plenty of cheap snacks and mountain dew sales.

Well, I got ripped off as usual. The sign on the yellow onions said 79 cent@lb , but they charged me 1.79@lb , I bought the bananas/red tape and they charged me full price.

Morning Deli girls are fantastic, but the 2 guys cooking in the afternoons are nasty looking, scrubs, look like like they having showered in a week or more, and their food look just as bad.
