I’ve been here twice now and I absolutely love all of the staff! From the moment you walk in you can tell they really care about their patients. They take the time to really explain everything and they are all so kind. I would definitely recommend taking your pets here

I can’t say enough good things about Stanford Veterinary Hospital! I called the day before Christmas Eve with a sick dog. I’d never been here before but they were willing to work us in. Unfortunately our boy needs surgery and they took him straight in. I really appreciate everyone there! Thanks to each of you!!

Decent prices compared to what we're used to paying in other states. The first receptionist we encountered was very rude. I had called the day before to see about getting our dog in for an urgent visit. They said to bring him the next morning and they would squeeze him in. I called the next morning to verify it was still ok and was told yes. Get there and get attitude that she didn't know what I was talking about, I couldn't bring him in, and the vet wasn't even there. I told her I had just called and talked to someone and her reply was "well I don't know about that". She stormed off to the back and the vet tech (super friendly, I love her) said it was ok. The front desk person we dealt with every other time was friendly and knowledgeable.The vet tech (wish I knew her name) is my favorite part of this office.My only surprise was my dog coming back from surgery not cleaned up. Usually they are clean, no drain, and dissolving stitches where you can barely tell they were spayed after they heal. This was ugly. It was very surprising and hard to keep her from licking to clean herself since she was gross.I said I like the office and will continue taking my pets there. The thing I like most is the vet is very upfront, gives all the options, and doesn't pressure you into anything like other vets I've gone to. He tends to take a practical approach first before going crazy with tests and treatments that aren't warranted. I appreciate that.

Very busy (as most vet clinics are right now, no biggie) but they fit my girl Kiki in at the end of the week so she wouldn't have to wait to be seen for the UTI she had! Very loving place. My cat is very scared and she seemed just fine when I picked her back up! Very sweet people. Just busy, which is no reason not to give them a chance, from a vet tech on leave right now they do the best they can with a smile on there faces 💜

As for me I won't go anywhere else! Dr Carlton was there for my dog Lucy when my regular vets office wouldn't even answer my phone call on a holiday! My dog was playing and broke her back ! I miss her Soo! So since then I take all my animals there! The whole staff there are great and knowledgeable, and they are all very caring! And always there for everyone!

Dr Carleton is beyond amazing the level of care he gave was amazing he knew he was working with a dog that was once feral and she’s very leery of new people. He took his time and developed a relationship with the dog before examining her. He also wanted to just help her. THANK YOU Doc!! Five stars! Will absolutely be back.

I recently had a small emergency with my 5 month old Schnauzer. I called the clinic in a panic and was gotten in quickly. Xrays were done and my baby is fine. Dr. Carlton was very informative about the xrays and put my fears to rest. I highly recommend the Stanford Vet. Clinic.,and their staff is wonderful also.

It was my first visit, I found them to be very concerned with my dogs health. They let me go in the exam room with him. He a very high strung baby, but he is my baby. I was very pleased with my experience with them, I believe I have found a vet I can trust with my treasure. 12/4/21 we took our female dog to be checked for swelling. My wife had took her to her old vet, thinking it was a snake bite. They treated her for that. Today we learned it was just a hot spot that had gotten serious infected. Her old vet never caught that, but she had spent over a 1000 dollars with them. Today the treatment, the office visit the medication including shot of antibiotics. A complete examine with time spent to explain what we need to do. 150.00 now my wife says this is her new Vet as well, highly recommend this place.

I took my horse to Dr Carlton for years before he died and always loved him and my parents trust him with all of our farm animals. Last night I had to take in my 16 year old dog to be put to sleep and Dr Kevin was wonderful. He was so patient and kind and didn’t mind that I was a blubbering, sobbing mess. Putting down a beloved pet is never easy, but Dr Kevin and his staff made it as painless as possible for both me and my dog. I’m so glad Dr Carlton has brought on extra vets that care about their clients and pets as much as Dr Carlton always has. Stanford Vet provides quality, compassionate, affordable vet care.

We love taking our pets here. They have 2 locations one in Stanford and one in Lancaster, so it is almost always easy to get a last minute appointment. They've been gentle with our big baby.

Love this locally owned and operated clinic. They are so good to each and every pet and owner. My dog was having trouble walking. Even though I was a first time client they got her in asap and helped her. They treated my fur baby like a family member. Cannot say enough good things about the staff here.

We took Zara in today to Dr. Carlton about a possible ear infection. Everyone was super friendly and Zara loved them! She was seen fairly quickly, and I loved having the possibility of two different treatment options for her ear infection!! We will definitely be back again!!

This place is the best! We love it so much we have come all the way from Georgia and again from Hawaii to have them help our babies!! They don't do anything that isn't completely necessary or charge you just because they can! More than that they take care of my babies like they are their own pups!The first time we came my youngest pup needed a surgery on her hind leg because her muscle had been so badly torn and she is still able to run around and play with it over 4 yrs later. Now my oldest pup was hit by a car so we brought her from Hawaii to get their advice and love! They never fail to amaze me with their experience, love, kindness, and all around care for my babies!

Pets are well treated. Got right to the problem and Solved it.. Back again. When you feel your pet is seeing their last day. These guys go out of their way to make sure you have many more days. I wouldn't take Our Family member anywhere else. Thanks to the Vets & the staff. My day will be a lot better than yesterday.
