Durham's Grocery in Stanford, KY is a great little local grocery store where you can find great deals on their meat department among their produce. The main reason to check this place out is their deli where you can get great meal at very reasonable prices and is all hot and ready from their baked pork chops to fried chicken, potatoe wedges and great sides like greens, green beans, mashed potatoes, Mac & Cheese and all served with a roll or corn bread. It's a different menu everyday and the local sure love it as it is always packed. I highly suggest if you find yourself in Stanford to go to Durham's Grocery get yourself a fine meal and discover all the deals.

Great place to shop ! Very polite team of associates ! Was greeted by every employee that we saw . Everyone wearing mask . They bag and put your groceries back in your car and take them and load them into your cart if you want . Open doors for you . Very friendly and polite ! Really enjoyed my visit today . The store was very clean inside and outside and very well faced and recovered . Look forward to many more visits. I remember this store from when I was a kids and it's still as awesome as then ! Don't forget to visit the deli if you go here ! Great service !! Thank you everyone at Durham's Grocery !

Went to the store on 11/6/23 because the reviews for the plate lunch said it was good. Well.. if you like undercooked fish I guess it is. The fish I got was not edible. It was under cooked and tough. The single bite I had was tough and chewy. Not flakey and tender the way fish should be. I spit it out and only ate the green beans and the mashed potatoes. (They were cooked ok). Way to ruin my lunch guys! I would have taken the items back to the store but I am limited on the time I have for my lunch. I wont be going back.

We went there to buy meat. Fired up the grill the very next day and open the chicken, and I about vomited at the smell. BAD MEAT! I'm highly disappointed and I will not be back there EVER!

This store is a staple in Stanford KY! They have a very good selection of meat, they have very good meat sales. Their hot food is delicious! The staff is friendly, the store is clean. If you have a little time at lunch to stop in and get a plate lunch, I highly recommend you do it! The prices on their groceries are just what you would expect for a small town grocery store, but they run reasonable sales and sometimes, I just don't want to fight the traffic and crowds at the big box store.

Perfect hometown, Mom & Pop place. The deli hot bar always has wonderful choices. The fried chicken is the best in Stanford. The greens on Fridays 😋😋. Friendly staff & the family that owns/runs it are very involved & personable

I hadn't been there for years, so when I came back to town to visit my family I stopped by they were having a decent sale. Some prices were little high bit others were great deals. The building could use some upgrades but it was clean and the staff was nice and respectful.

Awesome staff. Great place to buy meats for grilling or just dinner they serve hot food for lunch and dinner. Great prices friendly service. Pay your bills here or just grab a pack of smokes if you smoke lol. Pop machines for a quick cool down drink that are always full of drinks. Kudos to Durhams and the staff I prefer it over walmart.

It's great to stop by after work and grab what you need and be out the door in under 10 minutes. They are the only place I have been able to find Open Pit barbecue sauce since we moved to this area, and that's my go to bbq sauce. So glad I happened across Durham's Grocery.

Great place to buy meats!!! Best can corn!!!! And I love it that you don't have to check yourself out, bag it or take it and load it. They do it all!! Just like the old days. Small store but easy to find everything. Best deli going!! I just can't say enough! LOVE IT!

A GREAT GROCERY AS IT MAY BE MOM AND POP OWNED BUT HAS A GREAT DELI WITH FRESH PRODUCE AS WELL AS MEATS AND NICE STAFF. THEY DO THINGS THE OLD WAY BY HAVE MEAT CUT ON SITE TO MAKE IT MARKET FRESH AND WORK WITH THE LOCAL FARMS IN THERE FRESH PRODUCE ISLES! Some people are super nice and others are a little dry and hateful sometimes. Best meat in town and I love their Deli both hot and cold sides. I've heard they have a roach problem but I haven't seen one. A couple people that used to work there said they did.

In response to the owner about my daughter's post where I was asked to leave the store I was at the checkout the owner would like you to believe I was not.When I called Hal Roger's office to make sure of the policy they couldn't believe i was refused service and gave me the number to the governor office where once again I was told I shouldn't have been refused service with my severe asthma. She was not happy with my experience and put me thru to the message board for governor Beshear. Like my daughter said great store maybe the owner should check up on the policies and mandates.

Great deli food but half rotten produce, dead bugs on the floor, unsanitary, and a bit overpriced for certain items. Normally I'm all for shopping local, but if the quality of your products is sub-par at best and your store is unsanitary, then you won't be getting another dime out of me.I will give the employees their due credit though. They're very kind and courteous people. I also appreciate the fact that they help you bring your groceries out to your vehicle.

Everyone local already knows about Durham's, but if you're new to the area or just passing through, it's a MUST stop and visit deli! Their fried chicken is hands down the best in the tri-county area! It's the only place you can get Boone's country ham. The Ballard's ham salad is AMAZING, and their assortment of beer cheese is second to none! And finally their pork chops are DELICIOUS too. It's for sure a hidden gem in Lincoln county!!!

I went to get eckrich bologna and they gave me Fischer's which makes me sick so I took it back paid $2 more on pound and they put a few pieces of eckrich on it then put the Fischer's back it looks different tastes different and dry around edges I'll not go back very disappointed

One thing that would improve Durhams would for the inside store to be more handicapped accessible. Although a little pricey Durhams is a great store to shop in. The produce is always fresh. You can find odds and ends that are not found in bigger stores. Staff is friendly and helpful.
