New store, great prices, home town friendly. Awesome cafeteria with delicious food and baked goods. Excellent selection of groceries, meats, seafood, and dry goods. Parking lot was clean and well kept. Employees kept the shopping carts clear so shoppers could park with out issues. In my opinion, the best in my area.

At the recommendation of a friend, I went here for dinner. Had fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and broccoli. The potatoes and broccoli were very good but the chicken, while the taste was ok, wasn't very fresh. The Long John donut I grabbed afterwards was good. I know it's just a grocery store with a dining area, but many of the items my group got looked very good. It is, at least, a step above fast food.

This Food City is a.new one that replaced an old one..it is beautiful. So proud for the community to have a nice grocery store

Absolutely the nicest people. Tina Vincent went above and beyond. I live in Louisville and when I need to order food for a funeral or a family member she is more than willing to help get the order and get it there. I so appreciate her.

I find everything I need and want. Super prices with their grand opening and weekly sales. Parking is ample. Like all places some staff is cringe some are super.

Cockroaches. Brand new remodel and they already have cockroaches skittering about.Hard to really compete since there's nothing else, but you're better off going to pikeville. If you have to go here then get rid of all your packaging asap because they have an infestation.

What I called yesterday deli. Ask what food they Had. Looking for Steak my Husband got Last Friday a week ago. So I thought I ask a lady in that area. She said no we have tomorrow. Ok said to me to call ,I did.Then when I called another lady. She said noWell my Husband said I will go and look.He came out with 2 of those steak dinners. Amazing

Bathroom is never clean. Staff is friendly. Nice meat and fruit & vegetable sections. Prices are higher here than Pikeville. Deli is always short staffed.

The food in the deli is really good food and good amount for your money. If you have a value cars, it is even cheaper. Workers are always eager to help to. The only thing I would not recommend is there broccoli and carrots, never tender but everything else is alwsome.

We always like shopping at Food City, being a reputable business in our area since before I was born.The employees are always helpful, nice, and professional with good attitudes and appearance.The store is always very clean with a great appearance, has a nice layout that is easy to navigate, not cramped with plenty of room, and access to all of the products.The bathrooms are always well kept, and clean, with relatively easy access to them.The deli is delicious with a very homemade quality to the food if you go early when the food is freshly made, but my only complaint is that in the evening the food is always old and stale, and not even edible in some cases.The parking lot has a nice sensible layout as well, easily seen from the four lane, with a back, and front entrance to the parking lot which also has plenty of parking for customers, and very easy access for handicapped, and elderly customers with a level, flat entrance to the store with no steps, obstacles, or even ramps to have to navigate.While the prices may be a little higher than some places, Food City is a great alternative to the likes of Wall Mart, with a much higher quality of product, especially in the meat, and produce departments, and definitely a happier, and friendlier staff.I definitely recommend Food City to anyone, as it is always a pleasure to shop there for me, and my family.

Good local grocery store. Good sales and lots of choices. They offer a deli, seafood and butcher. The isle's are nicely spaced so that two buggies can easily pass each other.

Food city's prices are sometimes a bit more and sometimes less than the competitors, mostly the former. The lines and the service are usually really good though. The selection is pretty good for being in a small town.

I love going to foodcity it's not exactly the cheapest but you can find good deals. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because some of the cashiers seem to be quite rude and unfriendly.
