Our German Shepard is almost one and now that we have a day in the 80s I thought it would be a good idea to give her -a first bath. Our vet said not to bathe her but one time a year...or I would have tried bathing her before today. I have been in the Feeder's store to purchase toys and treats for our dog and saw that they have a pet wash station in the store. I went ahead and paid....unfortunately, my dog was not having any part of it. I didn't even get her wet....Since, I could not use the pet wash, I thought that I would receive a refund, a store credit or even the suggestion to make an appt with one of their groomers ....nope nothing. Being a retired person means living in a limited budget and being handicapped makes it harder. Totally disappointed in the business.Response Update: As a business....How do you not already know your procedures? You could have easily offered a refund, or a store credit. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I brought it to your attention twice and you still offer no resolution ....shame on you.

My dog came back from a grooming appointment shiny and fluffy. It didn’t take a long time and the service was excellent. The price was especially good for a dog that isn’t easy to deal with. Thanks for a great service. She was all tuckered out after her trip.

I stopped here on vacation because I realized it had been a while since I treated my dog for ticks. The tick treatments were right in the front. I was in and out within 10 minutes, and the pricing was good.

Love the groomers here. We have taken our dog 2 times to Bailey. Zara, our dog, loves her and is so excited to go see her. She comes back smelling so good, and so soft and fluffy.

Usually love this place to groom my 6 dogs but lately they haven't been cleaning between baths and their dryers no longer have nozzles on them for a speedy dry. My dog got kennel cough from our last visit there (despite being vaccinated). Probably won't be going back which is unfortunate.

Feeders is our go-to. It's always a friendly bunch, and prices are pretty good. The store is clean. Of coarse pet friendly. Quite a large variety of anything pet related.

I went to have my dog's claws trimmed. She was so respectful of my dog's fear of the grinder. She stopped immediately and let me know that she was going to ask for assistance. Someone came to hold him, and he did great. 👍👍I was talking to the bird, and he just starred at me the whole time.🤣

Layla loves salem and she is so gentle and patient with her. When we learned salem left the other place we was disappointed so we had to know where she went cause we don't trust just anyone with our lil girl so we followed salem to feeders. I highly recommend feeders

Charged me an extra $10 for my 10 pound poodle/Yorkie for “long hair”. His hair is less than an inch long when it’s overgrown. Kept him an extra hour with no explanation. Put a muzzle on him even though he goes to a groomer every 6 weeks and has NEVER tried to bite anyone. Didn’t remove his ear hair even though I specifically told them to because he has trouble with ear infections. And he’s limping! Took my Yorkie/Pomeranian there yesterday and they did a decent job so I thought they’d do a good job with my boy but I will never take another animal there. The picture is BEFORE being groomed.

First shopping experience to Feeder's was just last week, and I will continue to make sure that's where I stay. As long as they don't stop selling treats for dogs. That's what happened to bring me to these guys. I enjoyed my entire shopping experience there and the employees made sure of that. Laid back atmosphere and super service.i applaud the manager for keeping such a clean and friendly environment.

Extremely poor experiences at the Somerset location. Scheduled for dog grooming, groomer cancelled on me at last minute. Scheduled and paid for dog training, class cancelled at last minute. Scheduled and paid a second time for dog training, and they quickly let me know they had no trainer, but kept my payment for nearly six weeks regardless. Online orders have been hit or miss as well, with anything from great service to poor. High hopes based on what I heard, but reality has been a completely different story. That’s ok, I can buy pet supplies and food elsewhere, since this store obviously does not want my business.

** ETA- unsure why my review has been hidden on every other device I’ve tried checking it on. I went in today to make a simple purchase- a goldfish. Upon asking an associate to assist me with the removal and bagging process of my fish, she informed me that I had to have a tank running for two+ weeks before I can add a fish, and that I can not put a gold fish in a fishbowl. (I knew this was false but I went along with it). She told me I could get a Beta fish and put it in a fishbowl. So I picked a beta, and as we were checking out Mrs. Kathy informed us that she takes these fish home often, but they never live longer than a day (she found an odd amount of humor in this also). She also said the water needed to be warmer, and that I could put a gold fish in a bowl. She informed me everything the other lady said was false, and told me the opposite of everything the First lady explained to me. After getting completely different answers, I asked what fish I could get and immediately put in a bowl or tank for my grandmother. She looked at me and said “I am NOT going to argue with you” when there was no argument? Only a simple question. I explained I am asking a very simple question, not arguing I just need to know what type of fish I can get and put in a bowl. She proceeded to go to another employee and loudly talk about me. I walked over to her when I heard the very disrespectful things she was saying, and once she realized I was listening to what was being said she told me I could leave. I told her I would take my stuff that I spent $55 on and happily leave. She took my fish back, therefore I asked for a refund for the beta fish, water conditioner, beta water, fish food, fish bowl, and rocks. She gave me a refund but was very argumentative and rude the entire time. By far the worst and most difficult shopping experience of my life, all for a gold fish that I didn’t even get to take home. Absolutely pitiful how she handled the situation. KATHY should reevaluate how she talks to people, because she is beyond disrespectful.

We have bought our special diet cat and dog food here since the facility opened in Somerset, however the biggest issue we've always had with the store is when you order online, it takes a long time for it to be delivered. Normally folks from the store would call if they would be late, giving us the option to come pick it up. We take care of our 2 grandmother's so it's not always easy for us to get there. Today we ordered cat food hours before they closed . So I called the store about 20 minutes prior to them closing to ask about the purchase. The girl on the phone stated that she would go ask her supervisor about the purchase. She came back then and stated that it would be delivered tomorrow. I asked if we could pick it up before they closed and she stated that it would have to be refunded and that they couldn't give us the food (refund takes 7 to 14 days), and that we couldn't pick it up. Wouldn't be a problem if the cats weren't out of food. Said that it was a liability issue. So I asked to speak with the manager, and she said they weren't there. However she just said that she went and talked to them so I confronted her for lying and she tried refusing to let me speak with them. He finally came on the line with his poor attitude and wouldn't let me talk, just kept talking over me as I asked to explain the reasoning for now allowing us to pick up our order. He felt as though I was disrespecting him however I felt as though they were disrespecting me, the loyal customer and not calling us hours ago stating they were understaffed and couldn't make the delivery today. He kept putting words in my mouth wondering why I was thinking they were lying. I explained that I'm not upset because of the lies, I'm upset with the irresponsibility of your leadership for this occurring and the disrespect over this. If anyone in leadership sees this review, I encourage you to not only hire more staff, but to work on customer service within your store.

Usually our place to go to give our adult dog a bath. We just recently got a new puppy and had went here to purchase a muzzle, to try to keep her from biting and chewing on things. Although the price was cheap enough, we haven't used it much because it makes us feel that it's cruel and unusual punishment. Don't have the 💛 to use it much.

Great! I brought home these two just recently. I also got some glo fish. The only things I worry about is the amount of dead fish inside the fish tank, and how they literally stockpiled rabbits in one plastic box. Yellow birds wings were also clipped which I don’t agree with.

Upon entering pet was greeted by name. Then was shown where to go for grooming appointment. The groomers were top notch, friendly and competent. Definitely will be using them again

They keep a very clean and organized store with polite young employees, but to get an associate to assist can be problematic. To often I have had to go back to the front and ask for assistance. It is unbelievable how many dead animals are just left in the fish tanks. Beyond the superficial aesthetic, and the availability of some products there are really no other positives. People working with animals need to be animal people, know about them, care about them and try to take care of them and their environment. These types of stores employ sales people which is good indication that livestock aren't properly cared for and are rarely successful additions to a family.

This is my favorite pet store. I actually go a bit farther to go here. They have everything you'll ever need for any pet not just the furry ones. Plus My pup loves sniffing around when she's picking out her toy and or treat, she's spoiled so it's usually both, and meeting new furry friends. Friendly, relaxed environment so it's easy to get in and out quick or you can take your time and check everything out. They also do grooming. I hope this helps someone find an awesome pet store.

Very rude, unknowledgeable, and disrespectful employees. I assumed people managing and working in a pet store would at least know basic information on a gold fish. If you’re looking for good service, knowledgeable employees, and a pet store that DOESNT have multiple dead fish in their tanks, I definitely recommend anywhere but here.
