the cashier(s) who was working on 2/23/24 around 2:30 was a weirdo. my fiancée went in to buy raccoon traps because of a raccoon problem on his uncles property and the cashier was being really weird about him buying traps and hunting because she is a “tree hugger”. she also called his hunting “murdering animals.” i’m not sure if that’s how you should speak to a customer. weird.

Used my $5.00 off Birthday card on a purchase. The item did not work so I had to return it, since they didn't have the fitting I needed. They wouldn't return my $5.00 coupon discount for a future purchase. I stead they just took my Birthday present back and kept it. Happy Birthday to me!!

Couldn't find what I needed at first. It's a very different set up inside there, so it makes it hard to find what your looking for. After having help from an employee, I was able to get what I needed.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. Would not recommend going. Worst customer service ever. I will never return and will tell everyone I come in contact with I don’t recommend going and my terrible experience

This is a new Hardware store in Shepherdsville, Ky. Didn’t even know it was there. Haven’t been out since Covid struck. This will now be my hardware store. With purchase I was given personal instructions on how to use item. With calls prior to purchase Manager Kelley was very informative, polite and timely. So nice to receive details when needed. And in person. So very refreshing to receive excellent service. Purchased item on line after research. Picked up item less than a hour later. Item waiting at front of store for myself. No wait time anywhere in process. And kept informed about purchase during entire purchase process. No wondering, no waiting in la la land. Getting assistance in big box hardware store here is impossible. Done with that. Things are entirely too expensive to not receive adequate service. Thank you; ACE Hardware.

Online stock quantities never match what’s in store. Employees do not know much about what they are selling and where it’s even located in the store. They will rarely go the extra mile and try to help you find something, for example they will say- if you don’t see it, then it’s probably just out of stock. Just take the extra 10 minutes and drive to Lowe’s or Home Depot.

I wanted to say that Brianna ( I think that’s her name) helped me get some stepping stones. The ones I wanted were on sale and under a pallet of some other ones, I was ready to just come back the next day when somebody was there to use a fork lift to move the ones on top. But she went outside and pulled the 10 stepping stones for me, and then helped me load them into my car.

I called up there to place a paint order...I told the woman I needed a Sherwin Williams color, she said "we don't carry Sherwin Williams.".....of course not, I just need you to match their color,then I was informed that were they out of quarts in the paint I needed, no attempt was made to upgrade me to a gallon or upgrade the paint... this was my first and last attempt to purchase paint from them.
