I walked into the restroom and someone was in the stall clearly taking care of business…after I used the restroom and washed my hands, that person finished and opened the stall door and walked out without washing his hands…I noticed he was dressed like an employee and to my dismay, when I walked out the door, there he was turning on the light on Lane 4 and touching people’s groceries and scanning them…quite possibly the most disgusting thing I have ever witnessed at a store…I didn’t even mention the puddle of what I hope was water on the floor around the urinals…if you can avoid this store, please do

I enjoy my Dollar General Market I am happy that we have one in this small little town. Everybody there seems very polite. I have never had any problems there. I love the sales they have and I just want to say that all the men that work on the floor including the women are very hard workers even the ones it work the cashier. A customer that loves the dollar market

I really think the manager doesn't like me too much because of 2 returns over had to make. She's apparently the only one that can do it. It was only 1 item each time and I do respect her job because I used to work the return desk where i recently retired from. But when I go in now, I feel like I'm being searched to see if in bringing anything back. Don't get me wrong, they are all nice and I do respect their job, and I will continue to shop there. Sorry for being so long.

Very helpful trying to find baby formula calling everywhere and they were gracious enough to actually check instead of gas like everybody else did

Very clean store. Grocery side and general merchandise side are usually well stocked. I am always at this store between 7 and 9 am and the employees pretty much do all they can to stay away from you. They are putting out stock and give the impression that they do not want to be bothered by me, you, or anyone else. Not a good thing in my opinion. I have almost been hit by pallets and employees several times because I guess I am in the way of what they are trying to do. So, look past the rude employees in the mornings, at least, and this store generally has whatever it is that I am there to buy.

This place provides alot of convenience for a small area but I always dread going in. It's always the exact experience that you expect to have in a small town. Most of the workers are too busy talking to each other to be bothered to help. However they do have the sweetest older lady as a cashier and she is a saint. If you need to do a quick shop for something on your way out of town that's fine but don't expect pleasantries from the locals if you start to frequent this store.

Edit 10.05.2020New Management. Bathrooms are regularly cleaned and stocked. It seems like they are working to keep them clean and neat.The bathrooms are always very dirty. No soap, no paper towels. I know the law and sign say employees must wash hands, but no one can, because there is never any soap, or paper towels. I mean ever, not most of the time. NEVER! Nice people, but there is no leadership insistent upon cleanliness.

So for all of the naysayers, in order to keep the prices low, you have to expect longer lines and less employees to help you. That said, it is a matter of price and convenience and we all choose that over the higher prices that big chains charge, so please don't blame the employees for the extra 2 minutes you spent checking out so you could save $12 On your groceries. I'll take that kind of wage any day.

It's a good place to go when you need something. I found leggings for 2$ after getting up to register. Was very excited. Friendly clean environment. Parking lot is big and easy access plus it's handicap access and parking. Anything you need should be here.

About a mile from my home. I come here quite often.Always clean and always good prices.The staff here are always friendly and most always have a smile on their face..They always have specials and deals on all sorts of goods. Even hage an app for additional savings and speed while shopping.In the parking lot is a place for recycling of plastics, aluminum and cardboard

Really friendly service but they're slow as hell if you're in there and you're in a hurry you're the wrong place they have all these Lanes but they rarely have any more than one open.......EDIT...I would like to say since the time of my review and my visit today, I was really impressed with the service. It was great they were on top of everything when the get more than 2 people in a lane another one was opened just like that. Way to go DG Market...great people..great service

This store has so much that you need. I've been multiple times and usually deal with pleasant employees. The gal that checked me out this time was not very nice, but she may have been having a hard day. I am not a local, so I don't have other experiences with her to compare.

Fresh fruit and vegetables are the only difference between this and a regular dollar general. The lines are always long, there's usually 1 register open and they items often don't ring up the price on the sale sign. If a food item is a mark down that needs a special key that is on a person who never is near the register. NOTHING SPECIAL

The store was nice but I kept asking an employee on the floor to help me find something that I couldn't find and she'd just point. I asked her four times, the forth time asking her to show me and she wouldn't. She was very rude. The other employee I finally found and asked was very helpful and turns out they were out of the product I was looking for. The first employee was very rude.

Don't really care for dollar General, for one thing I have been waiting for my retirement pay, and can't even get a hold of human resources. Not to mention eggs were 85 cents a dozen a week ago now they are almost 3 dollars chickens are laying just as many eggs today as they were last week. And transportation isn't an issue just as many trucks on the road today as there was last week. So let yourself decide what is going on during all these prices going up unesisaraly.

Good location that's easy to get in and out of, always seems clean. Never enough cashiers, especially during peak hours, so expect a wait. Vendored items are frequently out of stock on the weekends.

We went in there to use the restroom, and I can tell you they have the worse restrooms for a dollar general. The time we went someone was sick and had puked everywhere, the bathrooms were so bad you could smell it all the way up at the cashiers. Their restrooms are very dirty and need to be kept clean at all times. Never any paper Towels in there. I have been there many times in their bathroom and it's always bad. Go somewhere else if you gotta pee or poop.

While looking at things for our apartment and trying to find a charger. My boyfriend picked me up so I would stop trying to impulse buy. In the process of this the janitor of this location came over and started to fuss at us for no reason other than us laughing and shopping. I used to shop here a few times a week and they know me so it just breaks my heart that they were so hateful. I will not be going back.

While they had what I was looking for, a young employee 18-20 got smart with me, claiming I could purchase only one item while the sign next two him clearly stated customers were allowed to purchase two of each of the items.

In Scottsville, the store wasn't to bad, but the cashier was terrible. She basically threw glass items into my bag, when I asked her if she could wrap the glass items, she told me to go get a ad flyer a d I could do it myself..not good customer service at all!!!!😞😞😞

They have a lot of things that you need on daily bases. Though t hey are trying to compete against Walmart, they need to look at some of their pricing metrics.. Over all they are a good store.

Store has the mandatory mask signage with zero enforcement.Most people don't follow this so if you don't want to take the chance of someone being ill and coming into contact with you. Go on non popular time's.
